Draymond Green just wanted to give one quick postgame statement: “The agenda to continue to keep making me look like an angry black man is crazy. I’m sick of it. It’s ridiculous.”

  1. Elbows Naz in the face. “This narrative is out of control”

  2. Meanwhile the Kerr clip a few posts down literally starts with him saying “I could see he’d gotten pretty upset…” lol

  3. This dude has a montage of him literally doing nothing but fouling players, bro. He has to be trolling.

  4. Man I just don’t get it. If you’re going to elbow a dude in the head to send a message, just own it. Don’t get angry when you get caught. Just stand on business and be like “Yeah, I smacked you upside your damn head. And I’ll do it again.”

It’s like he believes his own bullshit.

  5. Bro what?? You’re literally on the court with majority black players and nobody says this about anyone else. You are just a fucking lunatic psycho that can’t control your emotions. Trying to make it a race thing is such a cop out.

  6. insane statements like this just makes it harder for people who actually deal with issues relating to their race

  7. It’s so crazy he keeps accidentally flailing into people. It’s happened hundreds of times he literally has the worst luck of anyone on the planet 😟. Praying for this strong brother tonight 🙏

  8. The word gaslight is way overused today, but if you ever want a textbook definition of it, this is it.

He’s literally telling you that what you saw is not what you saw.

  9. Draymond is an angry man, Draymond is a black man, the two things are not contingent on the other he’s just an angry guy who happens to be black

  10. He says after elbowing another Black man in the head for no fucking reason lol

  11. Always the victim somehow. Punched his teammate in the face and did a documentary. Was dissing KAT for missing a game against the Warriors due to funeral. Also choked Gobert and stomped on Sabonis. Fuck this guy.

  12. Should clip this statement to a montage of him choking out Gobert.

  13. Draymond’s coverage is *largely* driven by how he chooses to conduct himself on the job. He has the absolute longest leash of *anyone* when it comes to the techs he gets versus like JT who gets a tech for aggressively clapping. The league acts to protect him from himself, including Adam Silver, bending over backwards and the league trying to rehabilitate Draymond by working with him and Klutch on the mental health angle last season.

While there may be some isolated instances where that narrative is pushed, Draymond, by invoking it here and intentionally making it seem like media coverage only has an agenda to push the “angry black man” agenda is particularly self serving. It really divorces him from the reality of his own conduct and only serves to absolve him of responsibility.
Also, Dray, tons of successful men with families and kids have excessive anger and emotional volatility issues. Invoking stuff like this makes it seem like he’s looking for a way to commit the foul or offense and get no pushback or criticism for it. Sorry; not how it works. Either you reign in the elbow to someone’s face or you take responsibility for how it’s perceived.

  14. So in his head, in an entire league of players who are mostly black, he was chosen to have an agenda to make him out to be an angry black man. That’s pretty unlucky.

  15. Shut up bum. I’m a black man your a joke and cost your own team plenty of times

  16. Can’t wait for the day this guy retires. He’s so insufferable.

  17. What a fuckin clown. A clueless clown. Nobody is stereotyping him. He works in a majority Black environment and his repeated unruly behavior stands out as an outlier. He has painted himself as a person with no ability to control and reform himself. This is a Clarence Thomas “high tech lynching” bullshit strategy to get his non-Black critics back on their heels. Well, I’m a Black critic that’s sick of his shit.
