These two teams have never met in the postseason. They both had to complete a highwire act over the weekend to get here. For the first time ever, the puck is dropped on a playoff series between Dallas and Winnipeg. We are underway. And across and a shot. Hell about the save. Rebound score. It was Mo Rantin who was able to poke it as he was falling down. And wouldn’t you know it, the guy who took game seven by the throat back in Dallas answers here in game one of round two. Shot here. Score. Ranton in first to the glove bump line and the Stars are in front. He’s going to score a million goals apparently. The Stars shoot and score. Rantin. Can you believe it? He has done it again. Back-to- back hat-ticks. The moose is loose in Manitoba. The Stars win game one and immediately take home ice advantage from the President’s Trophy winners. In game one, the MIGO show resumed in the white out. And once again, Big Jake shut the door in the late stages as the stars clawed out a gutsy road wind to open the series. Now they must harness the momentum as the temperature is set to rise in the great white north. This is game two.
