The POPE Is a White Sox Fan?! This Photo Changes Everything βΎπ
The Chicago White Socks just got the ultimate blessing straight from the Vatican. While Thursday brought a brutal 10 to zero loss to the Royals, Socks fans got a heavenly silver lining. The newly elected Pope Leo I 14th is one of them. Yep. Turns out the most famous man on earth isn’t just holy, he’s Southside loyal. His brother confirmed it saying the Pope’s no Cubs guy. Yeah, he was never ever a Cubs fan, so I don’t know where that came from. He was always a Socks fan. He’s been riding with the White Socks his whole life. But it gets better. The Chicago Suntimes even found a photo of him at the 2005 World Series back when the Socks swept the Astros. You can spot a young Robert Priebus, now Pope Leo I 14th, in the background on a cell phone at the biggest Socks moment in decades. So, while the team may be struggling, fans can now say one thing loud and proud. The pope’s on our side and that that’s divine intervention.
Chicago White Sox fans, rejoice β the baseball gods may be listening! Newly elected Pope Leo XIV isnβt just a spiritual leaderβ¦ heβs a South Side ride-or-die. His brother confirmed heβs a lifelong White Sox fan, not Cubs, and the Chicago Sun-Times even found a photo of him at the 2005 World Series! While the Sox just took a tough loss to the Royals, they may have just gained the most powerful fan on Earth. Divine intervention, anyone?
