Hope everyone’s doing well. We got game two of the series between the Yankees and the Athletics going at it. Uh game one happens on Friday night. I’m recording this Friday afternoon, so I don’t know what the result of that game will be. I’m personally on the over though. I think we see some runs with Bo and Will Warren on the mound. For this one, it looks like we got Carlos Rodon and JP Sears on the mound for the Athletics. Carlos Rodon on the mound for the Yankees, of course. I’ll say, man, Carlos Rodon, I feel like he’s flying a bit under the radar this season, but he’s been pretty damn good, especially as of late. You know, we saw him get hit up a little bit by the Giants a few starts ago, but when you look at his last four starts, zero earned runs against the Padres’s, two earned runs against Baltimore, zero earned runs against Cleveland, and then zero earned runs against Tampa Bay. So, he’s been dealing as of late. On the other hand, JP Sears kind of came out the gate a little bit slow, but has looked better as of late. Has looked better as of late, for sure. And both these guys are coming in with sub three erra. So, this is probably going to be one of the better pitching matchups we see for this series. I will say though, when you look at both of these teams batting splits, the Athletics hit the ball much better against lefties and so do the Yankees. Both these teams hit the ball really well off lefties and we got two lefty pitchers on the mound, which I I thought was interesting. So, man, this is a tough game. This is a tough game and I honestly think it’s going to be kind of a tossup. I think both these pitchers probably have a good outing through the first five and then it’s really going to come down to the bullpens. Um, so it’s it it’s it’s tough. But when it does come Yeah, sorry. I had I had to pause there. I had to make sure I was recording again. But when it does come to the bullpens, uh, the Yankees do have a significantly better bullpen. You know, they have a a top 10 bullpen, whereas the Athletics bullpen ranks in the bottom half of the league when it comes to an ERA perspective. So, I’m I’m going to lean Yankees here. I’m going to lean Yankees. Um, I I do love me some JP Sears, don’t get me wrong, but like I said, I think once these bullpens get activated, this game will open up. And just with these Yankees batters in this hitter friendly ballpark um in Sacramento that the A’s are playing in, I could see it getting ugly late. So, I’m going to take a shot here with the Yankees. If you want to get the juice down, I wouldn’t be mad at at taking the run line. You probably get some plus money with that.
