Dustin May is going to be the starter here for the Dodgers. Look at his last six starts of the season. He’s got an RA of 4.36. Now, that consists of 28 strikeouts, 14 walks, 16 earned runs allowed in 33 innings pitched. Now, Corbin Burns is going to be the starter here for the Diamondbacks. If we look at his last six starts of the season, he’s got an RA of 3.58. Now, that consists of 28 strikeouts, 17 walks, 13 earn runs allowed in, and 32 innings pitched. Now, the Dodgers are hitting right-handed pitchers at an average of 264 and an OPS of 805, while the Diamondbacks hit right-handed pitching at 248 and an OPS of 792. Now, both of these teams used a good bit of their bullpens last night in that high-scoring matchup. Also, the Dodgers are missing a few of their relievers currently on the injury list. So, between the starting pitchers being able to be hit up early and often and these bullpens being stretched very thin, I think we see another high-scoring matchup in this one.
