The Panthers beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-4 in OT on Friday and now trail the Leafs 2-1 in the best-of-7 series after Brad Marchand scored with 4:33 left in overtime.

Game 4 is in Sunrise on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. (TBS)

Friday, the Panthers trailed 2-0 early before Sasha Barkov scored in the first.

Down 3-1 in the second, Florida scored three times to close out the period with goals from Sam Reinhart, Carter Verhaeghe, and Jonah Gadjovich.

In OT, Brad Marchand won it.

Sergei Bobrovsky made 27 saves — including eight in OT.

  4. Florida I’m so glad they’re playing the leafs. Six games it’ll be over with decisive win in the sunshine state. Can’t wait. I just hope the caps find a way to contain Carolina and win in 7. It’ll definitely take seven.
