Roadrunners’ Future in Tucson Gets Bleaker With Approval of Reno Arena

We have been saying it since the Yotes moved. There was zero situation where Tucson stayed put.
1) they struggle to sell relative to a lot of markets
2) Meruelo (the fucker) is bitter at Arizona and also has a huge base in Reno. Obviously he would want them there
3) Utah will want somewhere more accessible if they even maintain the relationship.
Sucks, but we stopped supporting them the second the Yotes left, since every dollar that they make goes to Meruelo. Go cheer on ASU or UofA.
Between the Oakland A’s fiasco and now the Roadrunners, Nevada just seems hell bent on spreading their cheeks for shitty owners and enabling their behavior.
