NHL Game 3 Highlights | Jets vs. Stars – May 11, 2025

Time to see who will shine brightest in game three from Dallas as we’re underway. And Lowry is all over Blackwell. And they do. Here’s Harley with it. Harley got it down in the corner. Johnson up for Harley. Need a rider out of the box. Pass for Lon in front. T scores. Hits opening goal in game three. [Music] Dallas Stars. First of all, you got to win the draw. And good job by Duchain coming in to help hints with that 50/50 draw. Now you get the puck. What you have to remember is the guy coming out of the box in 5 seconds. He still has to get into the play and in position to help the penalty killers. The first goal, eight of the previous nine. Here’s Sean. Got it to the net. gets a second opportunity and it’s blocked. Morrisy hustles back after the puck to shame right on him. Takes him to the boards. Shley got it up the wing. March to the net. Steered away by Hellab. Hands it out for Neil Pon. He’ll work it onto the wing. Ayafallow driving his way in. Ayafallow around the net. Wrap around attempt. They jump out of time with a chance. Got it to the point for Pon. Played across for me. Back for Pon to Fetti with a drive. to the save. Rebound in front and the Stars quiver rider just couldn’t get his stick on it in front. A chance for the Jetso. Half a minute to go on the power play. Here they come again. Carries it in. Checks up to get away from Cece. I a foul with it back for Pon. Pian waits, throws it on net up to the save and he holds on. Miller looks to take it away. Colin Miller hands it off for Connor. Lost it to Rancidan. Ransin centered in front. Fishell at the point. Chipped it across. Duchaine on goal. Stopped by Habach. Tyler Sean on the board. Gets it in the corner for Dane. Lowry watching him. Duchain. Got it there. Dane shots at it. Marshmall trying to get it through off the pad of Hellbot. They throw it back in front again. And now it’s loose in the corner as Samberg will send it up ahead for Tan. Tan cross ice. Appleton stays on side. Fired it on net. in the first two games of this series as you saw right there. 30.6 hits a game is the fewest average in the playoffs. Quick shot by Vali off the head of Marty again to the net. Kick out scores. Cal with his first of the series and the game is tied to their defensive coverage especially the high slot low slot areas where I think they’re last in the playoffs there. A shot hits Odder right in the head and the 50/50 puck battle gets won by Winnipeg. So it goes off Odder’s mask and Shifley is the first guy to that puck, he gets it back down low and even though Oddinger gets the glove to the post, Connor is not coming around the net with the puck sitting on the toe of his stick. Now up for Nessikov off his skate into the Dallas zone. Lekin goes after it. Nikolai healers back out there. took a run at Lucin as Petty tried to go to the net. Morsy with a shot that goes wide. Here’s Nestikov throwing it on goal. Brandon on his own into the dead zone. Bends out of the box. Brandon holds on to the way up and that time Paul shot scores. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Johnson got a piece of his stick. If he did, that was a crazy good defensive play. And then on the delayed call on me rider. It’s this time Dallas winning the 50/50 puck battle and they get it out to Harley and Harley just floats this thing in. I’m not sure if it touches anything. I don’t It was guys like Duchain and Johnson, guys like that were were throwing hits and that’s what you like to see. starts won 65% of the faceoffs in that first period as well. They win this one to start the second as Morris. He’s got it back in his own zone. Chased by Tyler Seg puts it high off the glass out to center where Mason Appleton is there on it to dump it back in. So good sign to see Apple back out for the second and he on the for check with a hit there. Morrisy up at center can’t get it by Duchain. Dain holds on dropped it for tried to get in front but turn back the other way. Appleton has got it. Lowry driving to the net. Appleton drops. Near rider shoots and he missed the goal. Well, here’s the rush chance for Winnipeg and they’ve done a nice job with it. You’re going to see me neater rider beat Duchine up the ice and as well you’re looking at, you know, the players that are backing. They got to see Nether Rider. They got to make sure they get him. Often times the late guy coming into the zone. Peter Rider with a pass for Lowry. Lowry pushing off steel. Miller to Morrisy. Shakes off Blackwell. Moresy got it down low. Scores. What a set up by Morsy as it’s buried by Nino Rider. And the Jets have tied it at two. What a set of hands on Morsy. It takes some you know what to be the last guy on the blue line and to pull this move on Blackwell. It takes Yeah, you know what I’m talking about. And he threads the needle there to Need a Rider. And Blackwell of course coming in for back in this game. He had the big overtime goal in round one. And what a nice seam play as Dadonov cannot get in and cut the seam off right there. Score some goals for you. Lowry won the draw. Near rider for Keon fires. See a rebound in front and a great chance for the Jets there, but stands tall. Marksman back the other way and the fire check by cut off by Perfetti and a Perfetti. He’s hit by Ben. He’s got it. Ben saved CC. Oh, a great club save made by Connor Hobach. A Dallas start. But the glove of Connor Halabach says not this time. Stars and Jets are evenly matched. This game’s got a next goal Winsfield to it. So the pressure is on Halib and Uter to not give up the next one. 2-2 with the period underway. Patrick Lera Galar gets in the way. Grab by this over to Robertson and out. Sam Steel up with it. Steel hands it across. Rans it in for back to the shot. [Music] [Applause] score. Shifting his players around. He’s got Steel with Robertson and Randon giving ice time to some of his offensive players, putting them on that fourth line, trying to create as much offense as he can. And this shot by Robertson is going to bounce around. And the fourth line is going to find her way onto the scoreboard here. Hint hands it off for Granlin. Back to Hint. Dropped it back. Branson in waiting. He’s in. Scores in. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Auntie’s in a game here this afternoon in game three. They just took the lead on a real controversial goal and I’m sure it’s not the last and we’ve seen Winnipeg back in a little too much in this game and it’s and Dallas has taken full advantage of the ice they’re giving them. And Randon did that like Duchain did earlier, like Granland did earlier. He comes across onto his forehand and he waits and waits and waits and then he buries this into the net. Scott O’Neal is going to call a timeout. The Winnipeg Jets are definitely rattled. Uh, you know, I think to a man they probably believe that that goal was not going to count as it looks like Heluck goes down early and rans will get it out. Stopped at center by Samardi for Conor. Here comes Connor shooting away to get to it. Moved away by Harley up the boards. The Donov has got it up the middle for Harley. Harley dropped it off the band to Harley the save. He had a look behind him but the puck came out looking for a little more as the Stars are up front 4-2 goes in there. Tan jammed it up on the boards will get it to the line kept in by Miller. Morgan Barrett hited by W Johnston is up with it. Dan off past the P. Stopped by [Applause] [Music] Helman. He was hoping we’re going to find their way and get going. He thought it was just a matter of time. As Johnson starts this play off at the Donov gets it over the ben. He gets the shot to the net. That’s the challenge, right? So, he comes out to challenge. He makes the first save, but it goes right back to Ben who throws this out into the slot to Johnson who started it all off from the other end and gets up the ice quickly. And everyone’s coming to the net trying to be there for the rebound. Heers will take it. He’ll drop it up for Petti. And the Dallas Stars are going to take the series lead with a win on home ice in game three. [Music]

Roope Hintz opened the scoring for the Dallas Stars while Mikko Rantanen had yet another three-point game as the Stars beat the Winnipeg Jets 5-2 and take a 2-1 series lead.

  1. It will be a shame if Winnipeg loses. They are trying really hard this season. And of course, Dallas is ahead of many teams in terms of roster.

  2. You'd think the country with the teams/people/announcers who are supposed to know the game the best would know that if a goalie is trying to play a puck and he puts it in his own net, it's a goal. Nothing at all controversial about that goal. God bless Connar Hellebutt.

  3. What a series, what an intensity !! Great game from Otty.

After Rantanen has joined the roster the whole team's belief on themselves has raised to a totally different level.

Nxt match can be decisive, if Stars win it.

  4. So , you just witnessed a RIGGED hockey game, by Bettman and his keystone cop refs. They had to take 8 minutes to come up with a new rule as to why a kicked in goal counted. (They actually went against their OWN RULE to steal the game fir this ridiculously bad team). Then, they let Connor get double teamed 3 seconds after the whistle. Then ,THEY ALLOWED MARCHMENT TO SLASH THE REF. O PENALTY. O FINE. O suspension. Should be a 1 YEAR SUSPENSION. But no. It’s all good. Can’t stop a breakaway? Just slash the guys hands. Can’t get the puck out? Just throw it over the boards. The refs will pretend no one saw it. Abd on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on it
went. Yeah RIGGED hockey! It’s so exciting!
