  2. That is eerily similar to the one KD had in the finals with Golden State a few years back. Hate to say it, but almost certain that was his achilles giving out.

    Y’all clown on him, but Tatum is a fucking star and I enjoy his game. Wish him the best of luck and a quick return to the court.

  16. Sometimes we have too much coverage. This is likely the lowest point of his career if it is indeed a torn achilles. It’s strange to be watching it.

People clown on Tatum but he’s been an absolute iron man since entering the league, he’s clearly huge for his team, and now the league send off for his season is him crippled and crying –which shouldn’t be an indictment of him, but we all know NBA fans

  22. Jayson Tatum wants to play every game, show up for the fans and show out with great performances and he delivers. The nba needs to shorten the season, players are overworked in their primes right now, players are going down at an alarming rate. This is heartbreaking, he literally gave absolutely everything he had until his body wouldn’t let him any further, Adam silver needs to protect his players man. Shorten the season.

  24. I immediately thought of Dame and knew it was his Achilles. Tatum knew, just like Dame did. Damn, this sucks so much. I am not even a Celtics fan but that breaks my heart. I’m so sorry, Celtics fans 😞 Bucks fans are with you in this one, let’s hope our guys come back stronger from this

  25. Rivalries aside man this was just brutal to watch. He was having one of the greatest games of his career. Devastating. I hope he is able to make a fully recovery and be back to himself.

  28. Appears to be in tears? Mf I would be bawling my eyes out if I was him. Imagine this is what you’ve been doing for most of your life and is something that you enjoyed doing at the highest level, and now you are worried that the next time you step on the court, its probably no longer the same.

    ESPN fucking blows for showing this. Give this man some space.

  29. I really hope he is okay especially mentally. People been laying in on him in the media and then this. Wouldn’t surprise me if he still gets negative takes tomorrow.
