The San Jose Sharks Shouldn’t Mess Around With William Eklund’s Contract Extension

I think it would go a long way for the organization to get this deal done right and say this is that like again that line in the sand. We’re not selling anymore. We’re we’re we are building forward. William Eklan is one of our pieces that we are building with. Um, and we want him to be here for a long time.

After spending the last several years selling, the San Jose Sharks need to take care of one of their young core pieces, William Eklund.

  2. For real. Eky is a long term guy and part of the young offensive core!

    If Grier decides to trade him like he did Zetterlund that’s fireable in my mind because that’s like taking a step forward only to take two back.

    And I still don’t like the Zetterlund trade and how that aged

  4. Just sign him even if it seems like “overpaying” right now….don’t screw around and lose out on your truly talented guys. By the time the contract is ending he’ll be considered underplayed, that’s how it works in all sports.
