Pre-Game Report: Edmonton Oilers vs Vegas Golden Knights | Round 2, Game 5
Hello hockey fans. Austin here with today’s game five pregame report between the Mton Oilers and the Vegas Golden Knights. The Oilers are on the brink right now of eliminating the Golden Knights from the postseason and booking their second straight ticket to the Western Conference final where they would eventually await the winner of the Dallas Stars and Winnipeg’s Jets series. Now Dallas, they went up 3 to1 in their series last night against the Jets as well. And if you’re the Edmonton Oilers, you don’t want to give Vegas any life at all. You don’t want to have to go back home. You want to be able to just close things out. It’s a business-like attitude with this Oilers team this spring so far. We’ve seen this team. We’ve seen the ups and downs. However, there’s been a lot of ups lately, and you wouldn’t know that based on my crash out after game three because the Oilers have won seven of their last eight games. They are seven and one in their last eight. Their only loss of course coming in game three to the Golden Knights with 04 seconds left on the clock. And I didn’t even realize at the time, but I found out this morning that I guess there’s some kind of Vegas uh company that was putting up billboards around Edmonton with 00.4 um like a score clock. And I just thought that’s really funny. I think it it’s fun when other fans and when other corporations that are like supporting each team do little jabs at the fan base in their own city. Uh I just wanted to mention that. I thought that was kind of a funny little jab. But the Oilers, they got the last laugh in game four where they had maybe their best defensive performance of the entire postseason. Chris Knobblock, he put Leon Dryidle in a checking role against Jack Eichel’s line and held Jack Eichel’s line to one shot against at five on five. And for Bruce Casty and the Golden Knights, how are they going to play home ice advantage? What will their line matchups look like at T-Mobile Arena? Is he going to try and get Eichel out against McDavid? Is he going to try and get him out against Dryidle? Or is he going to try and get him out against one of Edmonton’s other lines? Because Eichel only has one goal in the postseason so far. And if Vegas wants to find a way to um you know not go home tonight, they’re going to need Jack Eel to start producing a little bit more. And it’s not like Eel has been bad. Ekeel has clearly been Vegas’s best player, their best forward for sure. But at the end of the day, only one goal in 10 games. It’s not going to get the job done. Of course, the Oilers with their big guns. You have McDavid who has three goals in 10 games. Duttle has five goals. But it it’s weird in oil country. We still expect a little bit more from Edmonton’s top players. So, if you end up enjoying today’s pregame report, smash that like button. And if you really like it and you’re not yet subscribed to the channel, make sure you subscribe. Make sure you hit that little bell so that you’re notified of every upload and live stream because yes, I do live streams as well. I will be going live once again tonight, 7:30 p.m. local time here in Alberta, 9:30 Eastern. I will be live on YouTube doing doing a live stream commentary for the game tonight where hopefully us Oilers fans here see Edmonton eliminate the Golden Knights in five games. And um yeah, let’s just get right into it. We’re going to take a look at the projected lineups, the playoff stats for both teams, the keys to the game, players to watch, and score predictions. So, let me know all of your thoughts in the comments section below as we take a look at tonight’s projected lineups. I don’t foresee Chris Knobblock making too many changes to his forward group at all. I think the way they all responded after he uh put Kaan into the lineup and then um shuffled his lines. I think Chris Knobblock has to be very happy with how that team responded for him. And I think the team should be happy with that response as well. However, you have to maintain it, right? It’s one thing to do very well in one game, but can you carry that over into a second consecutive game, especially in a building that is very hard to win in at T-Mobile Arena? So, top line for the Oilers, Ryan Nent Hopkins, Conor McDavid, and Zack Heyman. Now, this line, uh, you know, they didn’t produce a lot offensively the other night, but I found they did a really good job at generating chances. McDavid had several looks. He, uh, he had an assist on Evander Kane’s goal. Um, I did forget to mention that. I think yesterday or the day before, I had said that Conor McDavid was held off the score sheet. That was incorrect. I had a few people let me know in the comments that McDavid did get an assist on Evander Kane’s goal to make it three nothing Edmonton. So, thank you for the correction. I do read every comment, I promise. And uh it’s good to hold me accountable because I do try and uh you know, give you all as much accurate information as possible. So, if I’m ever incorrect on something, I don’t mind being corrected. That is not a problem at all. Uh, Zack Hyman, he leads the Oilers in playoff hits this postseason. He has over 60 hits. He’s averaging over six and a half hits per game. Zackman is a little wrecking ball out there. Uh, and he does have three goals, but I do think Zack Hyman’s due for a little bit more production. He did score in game one in this series in Vegas. He scored the eventual gamewinner. So, look for this line for Edmonton to potentially produce just a little bit more. Of course, it really depends which line they go up against. If Jack Eel gets matched against McDavid line, well, Ekeel has eaten the McDavid line apart in terms of the advance metrics over the past couple of playoff years that these two teams have met, 2023 and this season. That’s why Chris Knobblock decided to put Didle out there as the checking line against Cycle in game four. And speaking of Dry Cidle, he will likely remain with Vasili Pod Coulson and Casper Kain. Now Kapp, he hadn’t played at all in the postseason, right? He hadn’t seen one single game of appearance and a lot of fans were very uh curious why he would get into the lineup over Jeff Skinner for game four. However, I think Kaan showed why he got into the lineup. He has an element that Jeff Skinner just doesn’t bring to the table. Jeff Skinner is all goals and not a whole lot of anything else. Um he can be responsible in the defensive zone, but he doesn’t have a lot of foot speed and he doesn’t bring any physicality. So, what is Jeff Skinner doing when he’s on the ice? Jeff Skinner also doesn’t penalty kill. So, Arvdson came out. Casper Kappan went in and Kenan right away he was like shot out of a cannon. He was hitting everything that was moving. There was one shift where I think he hit McNab and then he hit Petrangelo and then he hit someone else in the neutral zone. I think he had three big hits in one single shift. It was unbelievable. It got the crowd into it and it showed that the Oilers, they had a game plan and Vegas just wasn’t prepared for that game plan in my opinion. I thought Kaan and Dry Cidle worked very well together as well as Villi Pod Coulson. We have to give Pud Coulson a ton of credit for his two-way game, his ability to get in on the forche, his ability to create scoring chances, and also when it comes to the defensive zone, he’s very responsible, great along the boards. He wins a lot of puck battles. If this line is matched against, let’s say, the William Carlson line, I would expect this line to continue to do what they did best in game four, and that is be a checking line. And because they have Leon Dryidle centering them, it can also be a scoring line. I really like the look of that second line for Edmonton. Of course, as the game wears on and Chris Knobblock, he will shorten the bench in the third period. He always does, either with the lead or if he’s losing. Um, look for this line to have an impact. This is going to be the X-factor line for Edmonton in my personal opinion. However, another X-factor line for the Oilers throughout this postseason, or I guess I should say X-factor players have been Evander Kane, Adam Henrik, and Connor Brown. The third line for Edmonton contributed all three goals for the Oilers in game four. Evander Kane had a goal and an assist. Adam Henrik had two goals and Connor Brown had one assist. If the top two lines are being matched against Vegas’s best top two lines as well, this Edmonton third line needs to do what they did in game three, get in on the forche, bang some bodies, and uh score a couple greasy goals. And if you’re a Vander Kane, try and get around that blue paint again because Aiden Hill, he has he is just completely rattled right now in that crease for the Golden Knights. If the Oilers get in on Vegas early, like they did in game four, they get into the grill of Aiden Hill, even if they’re not physically touching Aiden Hill, Aiden Hill has shown that he is starting to lose his composure. So, if you’re the Oilers, you want to test that composure as early as possible, and I don’t think there’s a better line to do that than Kane, Henrik, and Brown, personally. The fourth line for Edmonton, Trent Frederick, Matias Yanmark, and Cory Perry. Don’t expect them to get too much ice time tonight. However, the ice time that they are given, I hope they are able to uh, you know, just play above water, right? You don’t want them hemmed in their own zone. I do expect Bruce Cassidy to try and get some of his better players out against the Frederick Yanmark and Perry line. Frederick, he’s still dealing with that high ankle sprain or assumed high ankle sprain. His mobility still isn’t quite there even though he has been looking better. And Cory Perry, of course, he’s skating in quicksand every time he’s on the ice. So for uh Bruce Cassy and the Golden Knights, they’re going to try and get some of their more speedy, skilled players out against Edmonton’s fourth line because the only player on that fourth line for Edmonton that can actually keep up with anyone is Matias Yanmark. However, this is still a good grindy fourth line for Edmonton and who knows, maybe they’ll contribute a little bit offensively as well. Now, when we take a look at the defense pairings for Edmonton, Kulak and Bousard had a terrific game four. Evan Bousard in particular likely played his best defensive game of his entire career in an Oiler uniform. So, you absolutely love to see that. But for Bousard again, consistency, sustainability, can you carry that strong play into the next game? If you believe in uh momentum from game to game, of course you can. But if you’re someone that says, you know, each game is different, you prepare different, all this sort of stuff. Now, I don’t think players prepare differently, but there is different game plans that go into home and road games. So, for Bousard, can he play as well as he did in game four? And what will Vegas do to try and take advantage of Buchard when he’s on the ice? Because Bousard, of course, we know that he is prone to some pretty big mistakes. But in game four for Edmonton, Bousard was credited with exactly zero giveaways. If he has another game where he has less than I almost said less than zero, less than two giveaways, I think Edmonton is in great shape. Second pair for the Oilers or potential third pair. Uh you have Jake Walman and John Clingberg. Uh Clingberg, he only played about 13 minutes the other night and I think that was actually a really good thing. They inserted Troy Stcher and gave Stetcher more of the difficult um defensive matchups with Nurse and then Wman and Clingberg, they can just clean up whoever else they want to be on the ice with. Jake Walman, he leads the postseason in plus minus for the Oilers. He’s a plus 13 rating, which is the best all time in a player’s first 10 games of their postseason career. And John Clingberg, he has played real solid throughout the whole postseason. I’ve really liked Clingberg’s game. His skating has been pretty good. He hasn’t been falling too much. His puck movement’s been very strong. I expect Clingberg to try and get pucks towards the net just a little bit more. I haven’t seen him shoot a whole lot recently. Let’s see what he can do with Walman tonight. And then of course Nurse with Troy Stcher. That was Edmonton’s best pair overall as a pair in game four. I thought Nurse he rebounded very very well after sliding on his stomach every single shift in game three. And Troy Stetcher he he he settles Darnell Nurse down. Troy Stetcher he’s mobile. He can get to areas of the ice. And Darnell Nurse I think feels comfortable knowing that because Stetcher is a good skater, Nurse doesn’t have to cover as much of the ice. And Troy Stcher, he is a little Energizer Bunny. He’s just go, go, go, go, go all the time. And that is a great pairing for Edmonton. Look for them to get some of the tough matchups tonight again. And for Troy Ster, someone who also hadn’t played in the playoffs at all until game four. The fact that him and Kaplan were able to step in and be as effective as they were in the toughest atmosphere of the season, the toughest games of the year, that’s a great sign for Edmonton. Also, fun fact, uh the Mton Oilers have played 10 games in the postseason and nine of their players have at least three goals. The depth scoring has been phenomenal, but I think we all want a little bit more from McDavid and Dry Cidle, especially Leon. I know Leon has five goals, but he has 15 points in 10 games. McDavid has 17 points in 10 games. He only has three goals, though. But McDavid leads the team in shots on goal. He has 40 shots on goal right now. Conor McDavid is due to explode when it comes to the goal scoring. Keep an eye on his shot tonight. In the goal, you’re going to have Steuart Skinner likely backed up by Olivier Rodriguez or Colin Dilia. Not sure who they’re going to have as the official backup. Calvin Pickard, he is listed as day today, though he is likely still a week away from actual game time. And um you know, if the Oilers keep winning with Stu, if he puts up another strong performance, I’m not saying he has to put up a zero uh goals against tonight, but if Steuart Skinner continues to play well, well, now Em’s going to have a goalie problem, but in like a positive way, right? We’re talking about Mton goalenders not playing well, well, if you have two goalies that can give your team a chance to win, that’s a new problem that this team is going to have in the postseason. I say you ride the hot hand. Whoever is winning, you keep in the crease. When they lose, you pull them. you put the next guy in and you roll with them until they lose. And that is how I would roll with it. But let me know your thoughts on the goalending in the comments section below. As we take a look at the game day stats, I know all my math and numbers nerds love this stuff. So, the Golden Knights in the postseason, they ranked sixth on the power play, 26.7%. Their power play, it’s uh it’s gone quiet. It hasn’t scored for the last couple of games. The Oilers did a really good job shutting down Vegas’s power play in Edmonton. However, the Golden Knights on home ice with their power play, that’s a different story. And uh if Vegas is gifted some power plays, and by gifted, I mean the Oilers, you know, the penalties that they’re taking, they got to stop taking, especially in the first 10 minutes of the first period. Edmonton keeps taking penalties within the first 10 minutes of the opening period. And it’s usually a stick infraction. It’s usually a high stick or something stupid. Stop it. If you’re the Oilers, seriously, enough. Stop gifting Vegas those opportunities. Don’t give the officials a reason to call a penalty on you. Just play strong, clean hockey. Keep your stick below your waist for goodness sakes. What are you guys doing? The amount of high sticking penalties that Edmonton has taken in this series, that’s enough. Piss me off. Uh Vegas’s penalty kill has been great. They rank fourth in the league, 81%. They’ve only scored 2.8 goals per game, which ranks 10th in the NHL. Uh goals against per game is 3.40, which also ranks 10th in the postseason. Their expected goals rank sixth at 49.42%. Their high danger chances ranks eighth and their shots for percentage ranks sixth at five on five. Now taking a look at the Oilers stats. They are 7 and3 in the postseason. Their power play is actually a little bit ahead of Vegas’s power play now. 27.3%. Even though Edmonton’s power play didn’t connect in game four, they did connect in game three. And the Oilers, if they want to win this series, if the Oilers want a chance to move on to the conference finals, they need to score a power play goal on the road. They have not scored a power play goal on the road in the entire playoff so far. If they get a power play tonight, maybe two. See if they’re lucky. Hey, who knows? Maybe they even get three power plays. H I don’t know who the officials are, but that would be great if they could get three. Uh they have to connect on at minimum one of them. They have to score a power play goal. They have to get it going on the road. And I do think that this power play is due to explode a little bit. Uh we’ve seen them get some good looks lately. They just haven’t been going in for Edmonton. Let’s see what they can do tonight. Edmonton’s penalty kill ranks 14th now that is no longer dead last. 65% goals per game ranks number one. 4.20 goals per game. Goals against per game ranks 10th. The exact same as Vegas. 3.4 goals against per game. Expected goals at five on five. Edmonton ranks first 59%. High danger chances they also rank number one at 60.66. 66% and shots four percentage. They rank third, 56.25%. Edmonton is a terrific five-on-5 team. They generally control play at evens. And now if their penalty kills starting to improve, which we’ve seen the last couple of games, um look for this team to close things out tonight, right? Obviously, there’s a lot of work to do, but if they can get a power play goal, if they can shut the Vegas power play down and continue to produce well at five on five, I like Edmonton’s chances personally. So, let’s take a look at the keys to the game, the players to watch, and then at the very end, the score prediction here for your Edmonton Oilers. Keys to the game. Number one, the McDry factor. Yes, McDavid and Dry Cidle. I know the depth scoring has been very solid for Edmonton. In fact, it is the best in the playoffs. Nine players with at least three goals in the postseason. That is absolutely insane depth scoring. But it’s a big butt here. You need McDavid and Dry Cidle to really take a game over. I want these two to be the factor tonight. I want these two to step up and show the Vegas Golden Knights that this is their time. Vegas had their time. Vegas won their cup in 2023. They had their time in the spotlight. Time for McDavid and Dry Cidle to put the team on their back tonight. The rest of the team has been doing a good job putting everyone on each other’s backs and they’ve all been pulling that same rope together. But I’d like to see McDavid and Dry Cidle pull the rope just a little bit harder than everyone else. I want to see them connect for at least a couple goals tonight. Whether it’s McDavid or Dry Cidle, one of those two, they’re due to pop off. You can like they’re just due for one of those nuclear games. Not saying it’s going to happen tonight, but they are due in my opinion. Uh number two, get that PP up pause. Uh get the power play going is basically what that means. The Oilers have not scored on the power play on the road in the playoffs. If they can connect on a power play goal tonight, I really like their chances. And number three, plant the seed of doubt as early as possible. If the Oilers get the first goal tonight, if they come out and they assert their physicality, if they come out and really start shutting down Vegas’s top players early and they get in the grill of Aiden Hill, and Hill gives up an early goal, and if it’s a weak one, well, you take the crowd out of it, you take the players out of it, you get Bruce Cassy all mad and swearing on the bench for Vegas, and that’s a good sign. Plant the seed of doubt as early as possible for Edmonton. For the Golden Knights, their three keys to the game here. Number one, they need that first goal. Now, I know the Oilers are good at playing from behind, but the Golden Knights when they got down one- nothing in game four, that was pretty much it. The Oilers had the game on lockdown. Emmonton got to play their system the entire game. They got to shut the Vegas Golden Knights down at every single turn. For Vegas, if they get the lead, they get to play with the lead and they get to play their system. They get to control who they’re putting on the ice, how they want to defend, and they are not forced to, you know, try and forche and get into the offensive zone as much. Vegas, they need the first goal tonight if they want to win. Number two, they need five on five production. Taking a look at the Vegas Golden stats, they are a minus 10 goal differential at five on five. They have scored 17 goals for 27 goals against at five on five. Yes, they are not doing well when it comes to the PDO. They’re not getting saves and their team shooting percentage is very, very low. They’re due for more offense in my opinion. They need some goals at five on five. They can’t just keep relying on their special teams, especially at home to kind of carry them throughout the playoffs. If they want to extend the series, they need five on five production. And number three, if McDavid and Dry Cidle need to be a factor for Edmonton, Jack Eel has to be a factor for the Golden Knights. And I’m not saying Ekeel has been a problem. In fact, he’s been the least of Vegas’s problems in this entire series. Jack Eel, in my opinion, has been the best player for Vegas in the entire playoffs. But he has one goal in 10 games. They need him to produce. They need him to put the puck in the net. I know he’s looking for passes when it’s on the power play. He has a wicked wrist shot, a wicked snap shot, and he can one-time it as well from that left circle. If if Vegas gets a power play, I know a lot of the play goes through Eel’s stick. He needs to be the one shooting in my opinion. Dak Eel needs to dictate his play. He needs to produce a little bit more. Now, in saying that, my two players to watch tonight. Number one for Edmonton, Leon Dryidle. I’m wearing the Dry Cidle sweater today, the road sweater, since they’re on the road. Also, this is what I wore in game four, so I’m superstitious. I will keep the same uh gear on from game to game until they lose and then I switch it out. And uh for Leon Dryidle, let’s see what he can do tonight. Let’s see how he’s matched up and uh let’s see if he can keep carrying that Pud Coulson and Kappa in line or if um you know Vegas is going to be able to shut them down a little bit. And for Vegas, my player to watch is going to be Mark Stone. He has four goals in the postseason. He did leave game two uh with a uh undisclosed injury, but he did come back. He did play game three and game four, but if you’re the Oilers, try and focus on Mark Stone. Try and be physical against him. Stone, he’s getting some looks and on the power play, he’s kind of the behind the netck guy. He kind of will defer to the left or right circle either to Doraf Fev or Jack Eel or if they have Olivesson on the ice instead of Dorfiev over on the left side there. But for Mark Stone, um take, you know, keep an eye on him. I think he’s an X factor. He’s a he’s he’s a vet in this league. Uh he knows what it takes to win games. He’s been in this position before. Backs against the wall. Veteran player for Vegas. look for him to assert himself in some capacity tonight, whether it’s physically or on the score sheet. Now, with that out all of the way, what is my score prediction tonight? Drum roll. Oh my goodness, what a surprise. I’m going to take the Emmonton Oilers. I’m going to say a 53 win tonight for Edmonton. I’m going to say that they close this thing out in five games and get a few extra days of rest as we await the winner of the Dallas and Winnipeg series. Don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves obviously, but hopefully the Oilers are able to come out, assert themselves, get that early lead, and of course Stu Skinner. We got the Stu Skinner card behind me. He’s leaning up against the Ryan Smith bobblehead. They need a big game from Stu. They need a second consecutive good game from Stu. And they need another full 60-minute effort from the whole team tonight. Let’s see if they can get the job done. Before the game tonight, tell them that you love them. And as always, fight like a kid. Fight like Ben. Let’s go Oilers. Let’s see if they can wrap this thing up in five. Let’s go Edmonton. We’ll see you tonight.
Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Stuart Skinner, and the Edmonton Oilers can advance to the Western Conference Final with a victory in Game 5 tonight in Vegas! Austin Hockey has all the stats, lines, keys to the game, and more in today’s Game 5 Preview! #oilers #edmontonoilers #nhl

The Knights will come at us with everything they got… GIVE EM ALL OIL NO BRAKES! Let's Go Oilers!
get a lead, hold that lead, extend that lead, that's the game plan, but please continue the shot suppression strategy that's done so well this postseason
If Edmonton plays like they did the first two games and the last game, they'll win in Vegas tonight! Come on Edmonton. I really want to see McObi-Wan and Driwalker rule the points gains tonight
I think draisaitl is starting to look a bit like he did at the end of last year when he was playing injured, especially in game 3 vs vegas. Could he be playing injured? He's definitely not as dominant as he was in the LA series or in the regular season. Should we be worried or is it just a temporary slump?
I love to see your subscribers growing! 🥰 your channel I have forwarded to many of my friends and family. Keep up the positive vibe!
i think it will be at Stu again, a Stu like in Game 4 will win it for the oilers, a Stu like in Game 3 will take the series back to edmonton… Just hope for game 4 Stuuuu! tell the team there are germans, who get up at 3 am to watch them join the conference finals! 😂
lets go oilers
Knights know it’s a series loss, but they want to likely injure and tire us out, and definitely win one. So play good oil.
Wasn’t it something crazy like 8-1 in series clinching games? These guys know killer instinct. Last game Vegas showed their tummy, now their neck is showing – time to go for the kill lol
Gonna be Oilers shutting it down at the plant, tonight.
Just wanted to say an aside of love your content brother! The good, bad and ugly blowouts 😂 You fast became my fastest Oilers content favourite.
Onto hockey, these have to be the most balanced four lines I've seen since the 2006 run. And I like our third/fourth lines better.
But why oh why when we play this dominant and get a goalie on a run … why do we let them get run and injured 😢 (Annnd then we trade Roloson so he could go win the cup 😂)
I think we need a 1A yes, this was never supposed to be Stu's role, that boy got bussed on there; though that is always forgotten.
Anyways, I love Stu and Picard and Rodrigue … so all y'all on our every year habit of eat our goalies … honestly what would you do in the off season here when we win the cup? Honest question 🤷🏼
And thnx Austin. You do great stuff young man!
I feel for Jeff Skinner, but you could definitely feel Kapanen's physicality and speed out there – i've always been a JS advocate but I have trouble imagining him creating the same.
Imagine this team with Eckholm back and healthy. LETS GO OIL, close em out tonight!
Oh man, it’s do or die for VGK team. This is our last chance for VGK team needs some serious work to get this done 2knight.
The rest the boys will get with a win tonight is very much needed. Just play that same fast and tiring style of hockey that got the win last game. Players to watch: Brown, Kane, and Skinner Brown has been an absolutely amazing killer these playoffs and he probably gets another tonight. Kane has been a beast of a player so far and I think he scores the GWG. I feel like Skinner is set to go on another run now, he battled through his mental game and looked great last game. Oilers 2-1 in regulation. It won't be an easy game and Vegas will be desperate but the Oilers right now are playing like true Cup contenders so they probably close it out today. LOCK IT DOWN, LETS GO OILERS 💙🧡💙🧡
Game plan play like game 4
LET'S GO OILERS !!!!
Bettmanov will be pulling out all the stops . The "refs" will be bettmans stooges for sure. Outscore the "refs" and you win.
"Jeff Skinner is all about goals and not much else." You're beginning to sound like Knobs, Austin! Kris Knoblach said something like that at one of his media access moments between games. "Jeff doesn't have a role."
We know that the Oilers do their best when they are in big trouble, it is hard for them to play and be dangerous when they have a comfortable advantage. Therefore… Please Edmonton learn to address this particular flaw. If they play with the energy they showed in last game, no one can beat them. I hope that certain Oilers' players will still show the same intensity… Kapanen, Kane, Stecher… If they can engage their teammates properly to keep the momentum, we can reach tonight the ticket for de Conference Finals.
Go Oilers!!!
It only took 1:27 to win game four!
leafs and oilers tonight again… we eating sooooo good
I know they can’t replicate it exactly, but if we see Game 4 oilers, it’s a wrap.
But they HAVE to bring their A-game. Vegas will be playing desperate and Edmonton needs to be ready.
Hoping for a W, but won’t be surprised if there is a L
So damn proud of this team and fan base
One good game from Skinner. Now he is Brodeur, Roy,Dryden.Hasek,Parent,etc….hahahahahahaha
If they can put together a road gwme that is close to the effort in game 4, things will turn out well. Survive the first 5-10 minutes, the Golden Bettmans will be pushing hard.
I know it's tactical but I feel for Perry dropping from the first line all the way down to fourth
I honestly wanna see a defensive masterpiece set by the top two lines again we’re gonna have to probably see that going into the series against Dallas.
Oilers are elimination game merchants! Time for another one!
