I saw the Athletics in Sacramento and it was a VIBE!!

Sutter Health Park, baby! That’s the Athletics’ new temporary home, and it was my 66th MLB stadium! Normally this venue is strictly a Minor League ballpark (home of the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats in the Pacific Coast League), but I saw an actual Major League Baseball regular-season game here, so that’s why I’m adding it to my MLB stadium list. If you wanna see that list, click here:

The Athletics played the 1st-place Seattle Mariners, and there was all kinds of excitement. For starters I got a bunch of baseball during batting practice. Then I caught up with my friend Dustin Hughes on the A’s coaching staff, saw the game go into extra innings, and ended up getting a lineup card after the winning run scored!

As promised, here’s the page on my website with all my lineup cards going back to the 1990s:

This game took place on May 5, 2025. The video was filmed by Rachel Messbauer, and it was edited by . . . ME! Thanks for watching and stay tuned for two more Sacramento videos coming soon.

  1. Yankees fan here. I enjoy the hell out your video Zach ! Btw I am kinda curious cuz I haven’t been to Yankee stadium in person yet . But I wanna know is it one of the best stadiums to go to or what . I feel like with the Yanks history it would be up there at least top 10

  2. I just missed you! I was sitting behind the mariners dugout. It’s still surreal to me being able to see my favorite team playing baseball less than ten minutes from my house!

  3. Zack you and your assistant definitely do a lot of work when you are not in front of the camera to run your business. This is not just catching baseballs a lot of people do not understand what goes into running your business. Catching baseballs is a big part of your content, yet their is a lot that goes into the marketing and sales side to pay for everything and truly make a living doing this. This is not as easy as it looks and not as glamorous all the time. I think you have done very well. Good job to you and your technical assistant. Do not let negative people get to you. When a person has success, people become jealous of them. You took the opportunity to make the best of it to follow your dreams somehow with baseball. You will never be a MLB player however you will still be in baseball history for most baseball catches. Anyone could of have done what you are doing. You just made it happen. That in its self is impressive.
I think it’s cool what you do. Your record is going to be incredible and probably never broken.
    Awesome Job Zack!
    Go Rockies!!!

  4. Sad to see the A's leave Oakland, even though Im not an A's fan. I do think they will fare better in Vegas; with their own new stadium, and a fanbase thats right for the picking. I will 100% be there for the inaugural season in Vegas. That will be fun, and I will love to look at the new MLB stadium on the strip.

  5. Sacramento doesn’t get the love and gets the bad wrap solely on ownership. We are happy to fill the minor league stadium we have. They deserve a shot to keep a team in the area especially if Kings ownership gets involved. They will build a real stadium that way too. History of the game runs deep in Solon Country. Thanks for showing everyone the ballpark Hample!
