Malcolm Koonce wanted to STAY in Vegas + Raiders vs Chargers BEST Rivalry? Charles Woodson & More
Malcolm Coun wanted to stay in Las Vegas. Are the Raiders and Chargers the best rivalry in the NFL? Charles Wilson becomes part owner of the Cleveland Browns and Skip Bis calls out Tom Brady. Yo, what is up Raider Nation? It’s your boy some more Raider back at it again with yet another video. If this is the very first time you guys have come across this channel and you love Raiders content, then hit that subscribe button, hit that notification icon much to notify you guys when I upload more videos just like this. With that being said, let’s get started with today’s video. And first things first, I want to talk about Malcolm Coons. Now, he recently was on the Rush podcast. Shout out to Max Crosby, Broen Robback, and even Darien Terrell. Uh they interviewed Malcolm Coons, and he was asked about the whole process uh during free agency. And Malcolm Coons simply said that he did have offers from other teams that wanted his services, but at the end of the day, it came down to him wanting to come back to the Las Vegas Raiders. Shout out to the Raiders obviously giving you a a big payday and many more to come. But yeah, how did uh how did that all go down? What was what was that process like? That was stressful, too. Like like I feel like like the draft like the like the only thing closest to it like when you get to the league is the draft, right? And I feel like the draft is stressful just because you don’t know where you’re going. But like free agency is kind of like your own mini draft that nobody knows what’s going on. Only you, your agent, maybe your family and stuff like that. So that was stressful too. But like I knew I wanted to come back. I knew I like I I wanted to play with the guys again. So like my agent be like, “Oh, these people are interested.” I’m like, “But what what the Raiders say?” Like it’s like, “Oh, but like these people offering this like but have you checked with the Raiders like the last like couple of days?” So like now that’s definitely love especially for a guy like Malcolm Coons even though he didn’t play last year. He got injured didn’t really get to show what he could do. He could have went anywhere else and got more money. But the fact that he wanted to stay in the silver and black and the fact that he just wanted to see what the Raiders wanted to do with him before he went anywhere else goes to show that he is definitely dedicated to the silver and black and especially with the coaches that we do have here with Rob Leonard on the defensive line. The relationships that he have with Max Crosby and everybody else on the defensive line. I know that he wants to go out there this year and prove himself and he came back to the Raiders on a team friendly deal which is something that I really didn’t see coming. So with that being said, I actually am excited to see what he can do this year. I mean, the potential of the defensive line that we have in place right now, I mean, the sky is the limit. And if Malcolm Couns can pick up right where he left off, right before he did get injured, then I think that this defensive line will definitely succeed this year, and it’ll definitely help out the team in general. Plus, we did bring back Patrick Graham, and we also have Pete Carroll, who is a defensive-minded head coach. Overall, I have a good feeling, a really good feeling that Malcolm Coun is going to have his best season yet. Now, moving on to some other bit of news. We already know that the Raiders schedule just released and I can easily say that I’m excited about the season all over again. I’m excited about the matchups. I’m I’m excited about our home opener here in Las Vegas against the San Diego Chargers. I mean, LA Chargers on Monday Night Football in prime time. I think everything is just going into place. But one thing I did want to bring up about this matchup is the fact that Shawn Marman, of course, a lot of Charger fans know about him because he’s one of the most known names in the Chargers fan base. I mean, all 12 of them, but Raider Nation knows him as one of the biggest Raider haters as well. He was talking on the NFL Network and he was asked on who he believes the biggest or the best NFL rivalry is in the NFL and he simply said the Raiders and the Chargers. I always say it’s the Raiders Chargers rivalry game and hasn’t been too much of a rivalry lately. But I will say this, I think that gets back on track because of Pete Carol and that team that Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah. You can see it. It’s it’s it’s written all over. Everybody know I’m the biggest Raider hater that ever lived. So I think this year with the two head coaches, P. Carol coming back in there, I think that that rivalry that’s been missing for a long time, I think that ultimately comes back this year. But I’ll say this, I do like the mentality that P. Carol brings back in that locker room with the Raiders of running game and Genty, drafting Genty, bringing Gino Smith in there. I think they added some pieces to get that rivalry back going, but we all know how it’s going to end up this year. I didn’t want to, you know, throw, you know, too many shots. It’s It’s not even Oh, you didn’t want to throw too many shots. Marcel, go ahead. What’s yours? Sean is right about one thing. This is the best the funnest rivalry. Raiders, Chargers. You always say Raiders first. Just just just so we get that out of the way. And the reason why is this. As Sean and I go at it, the characters don’t matter. Yeah. It’s the logos. It’s the mystique. Yes. It is the ferocity that that lives against the two teams. This is the rivalry that will be longlasting when we are all gone and irrelevant. But I will say this, the reason why it’s so fun when you’re in the silver and black is because no matter where you go and no matter where you play them, you’re the home team. Because Sean and the two Charger fans in the world cannot fill the stadium. And to his point, he does make some sense there. But to me, I feel like thrivvery isn’t really on the field. It’s what happens in the stands. You know, I’ve been to every single LA game in LA, uh, ever since we moved to Las Vegas at Sofi Stadium. And I can tell you one thing, Raider Nation always shows up. And that’s not the problem here. I I wish that the Raider fans could show up like that over here in Las Vegas, but that’s a whole another story. Like I said, the problem isn’t about what the Raider Nation can do, uh, showing up to LA. It’s the fact that the Raiders don’t really show up when we play in LA. I feel like that’s where a lot of fans kind of get heated, especially Raider fans and me in general, because we always show up and we always get our asses handed to us against the Chargers and then we got to deal with all the fans that are just chirping away. And for a fan base that hasn’t won anything ever in the existence of the Chargers, they talk the most and I’ve dealt with a lot of them and I think to me they’re up there with the Niner fans. But the difference between the Niners and the the Chargers, the Chargers haven’t won anything. And yes, I know that they can easily say that, oh, the the Raiders Super Bowls are old. That was before you were born. But hey, we got them. We got something to show for. It’d be more embarrassing if you are going for a team that has had nothing to show for throughout the history of their organization and still run their mouths like they do. So, for me, like like it’s all fun in games, you know? Of course, we’re going to poke at each other and whatnot, but I feel like the rivalry starts and ends there. Yes. whatever happens on the field. It’s like when we play the Broncos or the Chiefs, we’re always going to have a good matchup and at the end of the day, the the fans are always going to go out there and do their thing. But when it comes to the Chargers, it’s just a little bit more annoying. And it’s even worse because they don’t even have that much of a fan base. So, whatever they have, all 12 11 of them, they definitely got a mouth on them. So, honestly, to me, I feel like the Chargers, the Raiders are their Super Bowl. That that’s basically their Super Bowl. But for the Raiders, I would say that our best rivalry would definitely be the Niners or maybe even the Chiefs. Those are the two rivalries that I see the RA like those are the best Raider rivals. I I I don’t know what’s the best in history. I feel like it would come down to the the Raiders and the Niners, but that’s just me, you know, the Battle of the Bay and everything. Battle of the Manlay Bay, but at the end of the day, the Raiders niners always have a back and forth. When it comes to the Chargers, they in a back seat. That that’s all I that that’s all I got to say, though. But that’s why it makes it more interesting going into this season, especially our home opener here in Las Vegas on Monday Night Football against the Chargers. And then to add the cherry on top of that, we got Pete Carol who has history with Jim Harble. So that rivalry on top of that, this AFC West rivalry on top of that, the fans going back and forth. I think it’s going to be a fun fun game. Hopefully it’s fun for us at the end of the the game so we can have some bragging rights. But one thing I did want to bring up that was kind of funny uh on the Rich Eisen show, he talked to the VP of scheduling and it seems as if the main reason why the Raiders have a Monday night football game earlier in their in the season and especially why they have a home game this early because ironically the Raiders always have two away games to start off the season most of the time. But the fact that we get to come back home on Monday Night Football, have a prime time game for our home opener against a AFC West rival, all of this is because of Chris Brown. Yeah, you heard it. Chris Brown. What about this 2025 schedule? What are those? Yeah, a couple interesting notes. I think the most interesting one maybe Chris Brown. Chris Brown has SoFi in LA week two. He booked that months ago before we booked the Chargers to go to Brazil. So when the Chargers realized they were going to Brazil in week one, we always try to give everybody at least a home game, if not a buy, coming back from an international trip. There’s no buys in week two, right? So, hey Chargers, happy to bring you back to a home game after Brazil like we did last year for the Eagles and the Packers, but your building’s blocked. Chris Brown’s using it. We’ll try to find you somewhere to go week two, but it ain’t going to be SoFi and didn’t want to really send them to the Giants or any of their East Coast trips. We were hoping to send them to Vegas. Nice close trip. Their building’s blocked. They got a boxing match and a UNLV game on Saturday. I called the Raiders and I asked them, “Hey, not so much for your division rival Chargers, but more for the league. Would you be able to play on Monday that week?” And they agreed to move some stuff around. So, they’re going to host Monday night. So, the Chargers do come back from Brazil to a road game, but at least it’s to Vegas and it’s on a Monday night, so they do get a little extra rest. Going to be a very busy weekend in Vegas with a fight and a college game and a Chargers Raiders game on Monday. So, appreciate everybody uh accommodating our Honestly, I thought that was kind of funny and I thought I’d bring it up, man. Thanks to Chris Brown. We got a a prime time game on week two, but I can’t wait to go out there and whoop some candy and send the Chargers back home whining and crying, all 12 of them. One thing’s for sure though, I’m going to be there at the home opener and I’m excited for this game for sure. Now, moving on to some other bit of news. Let’s talk about the GOAT Charles Woodson. According to Diana Rousini, she reported that Charles Woodson buys a 0.1% stake in the Browns. The sale is contingent upon Woodson agreeing to similar broadcasting restrictions to Raiders owner Tom Brady and rem and removing his name, image, and likeness from businesses he’s involved in. Woodson would seize allowing his NIO to be used on packaging for new bottles of wine and whiskey businesses he is involved in to secure his Browns ownership stake as it violates the Lee’s alcohol policy. Woodson could have a significant involvement with the Browns if he’s willing to make such big changes to his other businesses. Honestly, this is some crazy crazy news because when I first heard about this, I was wondering now what does what does this do with what’s in whiskey? Will he step down from it? I I I don’t know. Of course you guys know that I’m really tied in with Wits and Whiskey. They’re they’re great people. We got a great relationship. Heck, of course, look at this guy right here. This guy is not supposed to be on here if he’s the owner of the Browns. But the fact that he’s not going to be placed on any more bottles makes the bottles that we have right now a little bit more valuable. So, of course, that was the first thing that kind of came to mind. But he could still run the business, the the Intercept wines and the Woods and Whiskey. He’s just can’t have his face on it, which is going to be a little bit different. But now, you know, I’ve talked to them and I’ve seen that they’ve been they’ve been putting the W on the bottles now. So, I don’t think that it’ll be that big of a difference for him to still run the business, I guess. But looking at his 0.1% stake, I know a lot of people were probably thinking like, damn, that’s it. That’s that’s all you got. So, it made me wonder, how much did Woodson pay to be part owner of the Browns? Now, if you take Woods’s ownership stake in the Browns, which amount to what 0.1 or onetenth of 1%, those numbers might be small, but the actual dollars aren’t. You know, you look at what the Browns are valued at right now, they’re estimated around $5.15 billion by Forbes in 2024. So, that means that Woodson would have paid about $5.15 million to buy that 0.1% stake. Still a lot of money. And I gotta, you know what, give a huge congratulations to Charles Wson on his future endeavors with doing this. I know it’s every player’s dream to at least have some type of ownership and some type of team and to see what Witson has been doing ever since he retired from the game of football since he put on the gold jacket. He’s been doing nothing but working on this business and growing his brand. And I think he’s been doing a great great job. I kind of wish that he could have bought some steak in the Raiders, but at the end of the day, he’s from Ohio and the Cleveland Browns, I guess, could use somebody over there to help him out. Not Not too much, but just a little bit. So, I just wanted to bring this up to just basically congratulate Charles Woodson. Now, since we’re talking about part owners, let’s talk about Tom Brady, part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Of course, he basically got called out by Skip Bis in response to what he said on the impulsive podcast with Logan Paul and Mike where Brady basically said that he had nothing to do with what the Raiders did in the draft and Mike basically called him out and said, you know, Skip Bis doesn’t think so, which Tom Brady didn’t respond too kindly to that. I wouldn’t a part of any evaluation process or to Skip says otherwise. No, I know. Well, everyone’s got every, you know, that’s a problem with media is everyone can just say whatever the [ __ ] they want and get away with it. And after hearing all of that and hearing the backlash, Skip Bis basically said that Tom Brady is a liar. Tom Brady on Jake Paul’s podcast blasted me for saying he obviously told Raiders GM John Spytech not to draft Shadurer. That’s my opinion. That’s my take and I know I’m right. So Tom Brady wants us to believe his good friend Spyitech that that GM of the Raiders wouldn’t ask him as a Raiders owner one thing about Shadur. Come on man. Nobody knew more about Shadur than you did Tom. That’s tangibly and intangibly. I mean you you spent so much time around the kid and let’s just face up to it. You obviously vetoed that kid to Spy Tech. It it’s okay, Tom. Just just own it now. Don’t go smiling assassin on Shadurer. Don’t Don’t try to be his mentor, his big brother, his best friend. Don’t keep telling him to show them all how wrong they were about you just the way I did. Tom, you were part of them all. You were part of those who didn’t believe in Shadur. So, he needs to show you, Tom, not them. Don’t show them all. You are part of them all. Now, I don’t know what to really believe here cuz to me, initially, I thought that Brady did have something to do, especially when it came to finding the next quarterback. And at the end of the day, there have been reports that Brady at least kind of talked about wanting to get Cam Miller in the sixth round. He was a quarterback that he vouched for. But if he was able to vouch for Cam Miller in the sixth round, wouldn’t you think that he still vouched for Shador Sanders? Who knows? But even though Tom Brady came out and said that he didn’t really have anything to say or didn’t want to get involved or kind of distract the the Raiders when it came to the draft, I can kind of see where Skip Bis is kind of coming from. Because if there’s anybody that knows Shador Sanders, has history with Shador Sanders and would have wanted him to come over here to Las Vegas, it would be Tom Brady. But maybe Pete Carol, maybe John Spitech didn’t think so. I still feel like it wouldn’t have hurt the Raiders to at least bring him in in the fourth round. maybe in the fifth round if we were to trade into the fifth round because at that, hey, if he works out, he works out. If he doesn’t, then we can move on from that. But I I think the big thing was I don’t think that the Raiders wanted to bring in another quarterback that could possibly take over the starting role. Then again, that wouldn’t make a lot of sense with what Perol has been saying all through the offseason is bringing in people that could compete for every single position. No matter what your status is, no matter where you were drafted, no matter how much money you have, he’s going to put the best 11 players on offense. So, why not bring in Shador Sanders? Let him compete with Gino Smith. And if he beats Gino Smith out, then that’s what’s good for the Raiders. That’s what’s best for the Raiders. But maybe they didn’t want that smoke. I I don’t know. But this was just interesting to hear from Skip Bis. But what do you guys think, Raider Nation? Do you think that Tom Brady is lying and you believe what Skip Bis is saying? Do you feel like Tom Brady did have a say in the draft or do you guys feel like Tom Brady stepped away and didn’t have anything to do with the draft? Let me know your thoughts down in the comments below. And if you guys haven’t already, man, hit that like button. Does a lot for this channel. Only takes a little bit of time. Over the last 30 years its been the 🫏s for me. Chargers probably tied with kc for number 2, but to be honest every since cry me a rivers left it hasn't been the same with the dolts. Being from the commie land of washington state i would like to say the seachickens are a big one, But they have whooped us since the gannon injury. That and the fiasco with the Trojans is why i am having issues getting on board with the chicken tenders coaching staff. But i would like to hope to always vote for the raiders. I mean tom brady is part owner and i am still here!!
No Charles noooooooo
IMO not drafting Sanders was more about the locker room/culture fit. While Sanders is talented, I got the impression from listening to interviews by the front office and coaching, that they wanted players that were 100% about football, that were ready to keep their heads down work & compete, without the showtime distractions. Looking at all the draft picks this year, and how they carry themselves vs. Sanders.. #intangibles #RN4L
Didnt chris brown get arrested and now a lot of his tour dates are in jeopardy?
After 1984 it’s been one excuse after another🏆🏆🏆
skip bayless has become irrelevant
The Raiders weren't good enough for Deion Sanders so he signed with the Chargers. So why should we sign us Shedeur?
I think the rivalry was more better when they were the San Diego Chargers them moving to LA kinda just killed it
Chargers ain’t done shit
As a raiders fan that grew up in and still lives in San Diego. I HATE the chargers haha. Dealt with all the BS chirping when LT and Merriman were there. I remember the last bowl game we played in was in their stadium at least 🤣
We all know Bayless is a clown and cowgirl's fan
No chargers are boring
All the drama with Shedussy and you still think it may have been a good idea to bring him in? pfff. Get over it that fool he sucks and the league knows. Tom is just being nice. Who cares what Skip says. Every team made a smart move except for the Browns at the end pick him just because of fomo. Nobody wants his crappy little brand to try and overshadow the Shield. move on.
Sanders ego and all the media baggage is why they didn’t draft him. and also they believe in Geno but if he has 1 bad game….Half of Raider Nation and a bunch of the media will be calling for Sanders to start and it will cause major distractions and possibly split the locker room. How can you not get that thru your head bro?
We don't care about the Chargers
Skip Bayless sounds dumb asf lol
Dang bro what’s up with your OBSESSION with Sanders….. let it go
I think I don't give a Fk about what Tom did or didn't do . S Sanders isn't a RAIDER so it ends there
No its not..Raiders vs Chief
Raiders 9iers is the best rival
RESPECT 2 MALCOLM KOONCE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE RAIDERS TRADE FOR TREY AND PLACE ALL 3 TOGETHER IN MAD MAXX – TREY & KOONCE 💯 BUT IF NOT WE STILL RODING WITH YOU 51 ☠️
Thank u Chris Brown for giving us an extra prime time game 💀😭
Y not the Raiders Woodson?? Anyone else a little pissed off by that?
12 fans now? I guess 4 fans has 8 kids.
Regardless of whether or not Tom had a day in drafting Shaduer, idc. I don’t want a back up QB that the press is trying to interview after the game even though he rode the bench. He’s a distraction.
Let's be honest Skip Bayless is right
Chris Brown should do the halftime show for that!! 🏴☠️🏈💯💯
The Raiders and Chargers ARE TIED 15-15, the past 15 years. Think before you speak, PUNDITS.
I have a trivia question for you all. Who knows the true rivalry history between the Raiders and the Chiefs? What makes it so personal? I do 💯% know the answer to this question. I just to see how many others know.
Now, this rivalry between the Raiders and Chargers is heating up because of the two Heah Coaches. This is a 50-year rivalry between Carroll and Harbaugh. Starting back when Harbaugh was still a player in the NFL. Then to college as HCs in college. Harbaugh Stanford Carroll USC. The NFL Seattle vs 49ners and now here. Raiders vs Chargers ( and you do naturally say Raiders first).
Man I hate the chargers with a passion
From some rumors I've heard. The reason the Raiders didn't draft Sanders is because of us fans wanting him to start sooner than he'd be ready for. The moment Geno has a bad game most will turn on him like they turned on Carr. Cam Miller is a high-ceiling guy QB who will be given the time to just sit and learn. Sanders is a high-profile prospect that fans will want to see right away. Instead of allowing him to grow. And behind Geno for 2-3 years he would've been really great for him. The fans won't give him the time he needs to actually grow. And that's every fan base. If he starts in Cleveland, his career could start the way Bryce Young's did with the Panthers. And as an owner, if fans stop coming to games and paying for tickets and everything else to maintain the stadium, they lose money. As fans, we are just as important to the fall of our team as we are to the growth. Sanders success or failure will literally come down to the coaching staff and the front office NOT giving in to the pressure of the fans and Sanders's early success.

KC weifs vs the Raider Nation #1 Rivalry in the entire NFL != FULL STOP = SD WHO???
