  1. I know Vinnie came up clutch but Bubic deserves to win Play of the Game. Man was lights out

  2. Of course it doesn’t make up for 2014 but man I love beating the Giants any time it can happen. LFG ROYALS

  3. I feel like this team is just a little offense away from being contenders

  4. A win is a win but we need to fire our base running coach(es). I don’t even want to know how many runs we’ve given away for free on little league base running mistakes.

  5. What a game! Incredible kudos to Bubic and shoutouts to Vinnie for his clutch hit!!

  6. On a good note Bubic is a fucking dawg and watching Hud say Kamehameha is hilarious. On a sour note still only 3 runs and the baserunning was awful

  7. I will continue posting doom comments until they no longer prove prosperous

  8. I did not get to see the Royals score their first 2 runs because fanduel sports through amazon prime glitched out. Did anyone else have that problem?

Bubic pitched one hell of a game. Go Royals!

  9. Finally capitalizing on other teams in the division losing, too

  10. I totally get why other people hate west coast games but man I love this. Storms outside, chilling watching baseball Ws. Hard to beat.

  11. Hell yes! What a great game. The boys are playing some ball again! Bubic is making a sincere argument for Cy Young contention. Go Royals.

  12. Uncle Hud was on one tonight lol

Bubic is gonna mess around and catch Cy Young votes he keeps this up

  13. How about going Lorenzen-Cameron-rest day-Wacha-Bubic-Lorenzen this week?

  14. got to see a lot of the space between the first base line and the stands tonight with all the foulouts

  15. In the default roster in The Show this year, Bubic started out with reliever stamina in the 30s, I guess because we had him come out of the bullpen last year. I don’t normally edit ratings on players in franchise mode, but I felt it was only fair to bump him up to a slightly below average stamina for a starting pitcher at 65 so he would quit running out of gas in the 3rd or 4th.

Without touching anything else on him, he immediately became the best pitcher on the team. I thought that was pretty silly. Really? Bubic is nastier than Ragans? I felt kind of guilty at the time… well, not anymore. Bubic has been absurd this year. Quality starts in 7 of 10, a K per inning, K:BB ratio of about 3, WHIP a shade over 1. By any measure, he’s been one of the most dominant pitchers in MLB. I doubt he’ll finish with a peak-Pedro Martinez ERA or anything, but you could increase it by a full run right now and he’d still be having an incredible season.

I also want to shout out Isbel for being an increasingly more reliable hitter. I am perfectly happy with an AVG in the .270s with a little pop and great defense from my CF. Just wish he’d walk more to get the OBP up, but you could say that about the whole team.

  16. Maikel’s batting avg is now better than Bobby’s and so is his OBP

The star of our team this season
