Follow up question: are losses a QB stat?

  1. the offseason is too long. next up, lets debate who is better, lebron or mj!

  2. Wins are a team stat but the QB gets most of the praise for winning due to the fact that he touches the football every snap and is responsible for the points needed to win the game. An elite QB with a bad team has a better chance of winning than a bust QB with a good team.

  3. Wins are absolutely not a QB stat. Blake Bortles almost went to the Superbowl.

  4. Wins are a QB stat like wins are a pitching stat in Baseball. They are the most responsible for putting their team in a position to win. At least when it comes to the players.

Is there more to the picture absolutely, and it should always be taken in context of the situation.

  5. If we can count Jena and Austerlitz as Napoleon victories we can count Tom Brady wins as a Buccaneer

  6. I used to think win and losses were a much more important QB stat. The 2024 Bengals have changed my mind.

  7. I feel like wins and losses could be dropped if a QB rating were sufficiently low/high. For example, wins won’t count if the rating is below 70, losses won’t count if the rating is above 100.

  8. Isn’t this 5-6 record off? Or it’s just regular season? Brady has a winning record against every team but the 49ers, if I’m not mistaken.
