San Francisco Giants vs Kansas City Royals 5/20/25 MLB Pick & Prediction | MLB Betting Tips

But guys, hope everyone’s doing well. We got the Kansas City Royals and the Giants going at it in this one. This will be game two of the series. Game one happens on Monday evening. I’m recording this Monday afternoon, so I don’t know what the result of that game will be. I’m personally on the Giants in that one. Not going to lie, I kind of like the Giants in this one, too. Um, you know, when we look at the pitching match up, you got Michael Orenton on the mount for Kansas City, and he’s been serviceable. He’s been a nice addition to this Kansas City rotation. Don’t get me wrong, there’s been a a couple starts as of late where he struggled a bit, you know, giving up four against uh Houston in his last start. We saw a couple backs uh a couple starts ago, he gave up five against Baltimore. They still ended up winning that game 11 to six. That just shows you how bad the Baltimore Orioles are. But I will say I have been pretty impressed with Michael Lorenson. Um I like I said I think he’s going to be a serviceable guy in this Royals rotation. We’re on the other side you got Hayden Birdong on the mound for the Giants and seems like BSong’s been more they put him in more of a reliever role to start off this season. You know last season he was uh in the starting rotation but it looks like they’re giving him another shot um in this starting rotation for the Giants. And I’m not mad at that. I I’ve been saying from the beginning of the season, I think someone like Jordan Hicks should be in the Giants bullpen and Hayden Birdong should be in in um as a starter. You know, in the reliever role, he’s been pretty solid this season. You know, just looking at his last few outings. You know, in his last outing, he did pitch three innings against um the Dbacks. He did have one of his more troubling starts, giving up three earn runs in that one. But before that, he pitched two in uh a game against Minnesota, allowed zero. And then he pitched uh just uh just one out against the Cubs and only allowed one ear and run. Um which is definitely concerning. I mean, you only pitch one out and you allow run. Not not good. But like I said, I still have faith in in Hayden Birdsaw. And I like him in this matchup. Uh the Royals, I still don’t trust these Royals bats, especially on the road. I mean, the Royals at home, they’re a team you could trust. On the road, they’ve struggled. You know, they come into this one nine and 13 straight up on the road this season. And just some of their hitting numbers are really concerning. I mean, 19th in batting average, 25th in OPS, 27th in total runs, deadlaps and home runs. They have the second least amount of walks as well. So, this team just struggles to get on base. This team struggles to get on uh run. This this team struggles to get on base and this team struggles to score runs as well. And now they’re playing at Oracle Park. It does look like we do have some wind facing the outfield. 7.8 20 mile power wins facing the outfield, but just can’t trust these Royals bats. So, I’m going to be on the Giants once again in this one. I have trust in Hayden Bernong. I think he has a good outing against this these uh this Royals team. And the Giants are just m a much more consistent team at home than the Royals are on the road. So, for all those reasons, I’m going to take the Giants. I also like a Royals team total under. I think that could be a safe play as well. Uh but all around, I’m going to be on the Giants on this in this series. So, give me the Giants on the money line. Appreciate you guys watching this.
