Is Michael Misa an obvious pick for Sharks at No. 2 overall?
Is Michael Misa an obvious pick for the Sharks at No. 2 overall? How did Brady Martin make such a leap up your rankings? Are the Medicine Hat Tigers your favourite to win the Memorial Cup? TSN Director of Scouting Craig Button joins SC with Jay Onrait to discuss.

yes misa is the pick no question lol hes a freak potential 90 point player great on the forcheck creates a lot of turnovers below the line perfect
Anyone who's watched Misa in the 'O' knows he's an obvious pick. Don't hesitate.
Misa's pro comps I've seen are that of the likes Tavares, Stamkos, or Toews. Not generational but somebody who most teams could build a franchise around and in the case with the Sharks create possibly the best 1C/2C duo over the next decade with Celebrini and Misa.
If Misa's realistic likely scenario is a consistent 70-75 or even an 80 points 2C over the next decade in his NHL career behind Celebrini as 1C. You'd take that kind of production from a #2 overall pick in any draft. IMO Sharks should run to the podium and don't even entertain or think about drafting anybody else or listen to any trade offers to move down.
