This is the last I’ll pedal for Marner I swear haha I just think we are too quick to right off a 90 point player that would require zero draft or prospects to get.

Forgot to add what the tweet said. Basically saying with the cap going up in the next three years 13 million a year will be the same value as 10 million!
Marner isn’t choosing Utah over Nashville imo – slc despite being a very progressive city still carries a huge stigma from the outside world. Additionally valid and stark environmental concerns (diminishing great salt lake , toxic dust storms, inversion/ shit air quality ) are going to make signing free agents and retaining players a challenge
I’d honestly rather go for Knies. I think he fits our style of play better. He’s still developing, so he fits our timeline better. And Marner is great but he has a habit of no-showing in the playoffs.
