  1. Not many stats in this sport that make me laugh, but this one is great

  2. Has anyone been swept in 4 consecutive ECFs appearances before? Because it’s looking likely that Carolina’s losing streak is reaching 16 games

  3. After the performances from the panthers, I’m convinced that if they lose, it’s the NHL extending revenue accumulation

  4. I forgot that they haven’t won an ECF game since they won the 2006 ECF. That’s just wild. Based on precedent, I don’t see a path forward for them. Only three NHL teams have started either the conference finals/Stanley Cup semis or the SCF with home-ice advantage, lost the first two games, and come back to win the series.

  5. Idk what y’all lookin at but if you squint real hard somewhere in the top right corner it says won Stanley cup. Nice

Also, I know hockey exists in its own bubble, but we live with the Hornets and (NFL)Panthers. Losing at this stage doesn’t phase me one bit. GG

  6. I knew about the losing streak but I didn’t realize that the last time they even won a game in the CF was when they won the cup that’s absurd man

  7. Has anyone been swept in 4 consecutive ECFs appearances before? Because it’s looking likely that Carolina’s losing streak is reaching 16 games

  8. Tonight I’m hating the asshole that introduced me to hockey in 1999.

Fuck you… You know who you are.

  9. The Sabres have won an ECF game more recently and they haven’t made the playoffs in 14 years.

  10. As a Canes GM or exec, what do you do?

Seriously, where is the fault in this team? You’ve got a stellar coach in RB, a pretty deep and stacked young roster, good veteran presence, decent goaltending, a consistent home, very rabid fans, and little to no drama.

What is this team missing to push it over the hump? Is it a new voice behind the bench? A superstar outside of Aho? Where is this team struggling?

  11. NC professional sports really don’t get enough credit for how bad they are. I know smaller market + irrelevant but it’s been nothing but suffering since 06

  12. Are they going to get swept a fourth time in a row? Are we really witnessing this?

  13. They are playing a brick wall this year, so I’m not sure they end the streak this time around. I’m not a Panthers fan, but gotta give credit where it’s due. They look leaps and bounds better than last years Cup team, which pains me.
