Party guys, hope everyone’s doing well. We got game one of the series between the Phillies and the Athletics going down on Friday. While I’m recording this, the Phillies are finishing up a series against the Rockies. Um, it’s currently in the top of the ninth. They’re up two to zero. So, looks like the Phillies should sweep the Rockies unless the Rockies have a solid bottom of the ninth in them. And then it looks like the Athletics are up 5 to2 against the Angels in their in their last game in that series as well. So, both these teams will be coming into this one with minimal rest, but should be a good series. Man, I’ve really enjoyed watching this A team play at this ballpark, Sutter Health Park. It’s just been a lot of fun games, a lot of high-scoring games, and I think it’s going to be fireworks this weekend with the Phillies coming in town. You know, looks like we have Jeffree Springs on the mound for the Athletics. And I will say, you know, Jeffree Springs was a guy that I’d like to fade, um, especially in the beginning of the season, but he’s actually put together a few decent starts. You know, he’s coming off a start where he only allowed one earned run against a really good Dodgers lineup. The start before that, he allowed two earned runs against Seattle, and the start before that, he allowed zero earned runs against Texas. So, Jeffree Springs has looked good lately, but I don’t know, man. I I feel like there’s a blowup start coming around the corner. Um because I just can’t forget how Jeffree Springs looked in the beginning of the season. So, we’ll see how he does in this one. And then it looks like we got Zack Wheeler on the mound for uh the Phillies, who similar to Jeffree Springs is coming off a couple really good starts. He’s coming off back-to-back uh shutout starts. One against the Pirates and then the other one against Cleveland. So, not the best lineups, but still two really good starts for Zack Wheeler. Hm. The way I’m looking at this one, man, um I think we see some runs in this game. I think we see some runs. I think I’m just going to target the Phillies, though. I think the Phillies coming into this ballpark in Sacramento. I think they’re going to be able to put some runs up in this one. And especially against this game at Jeffrey Springs. I know I just gave Jeffree Springs his flowers for coming off a few good starts, but I could see them getting after him in this one. Let me just check the Philly splits real quick. Let’s see how the Phillies do against lefties. I feel like the Phillies do pretty damn good against lefties. Let me just confirm. Uh, yes, they hit the ball really well against lefties. Um, they bat at 255 against righties, but when they face lefties, their batting average goes up um to a 287. They’re they’re one of the best lineups when it comes to hitting off lefties. So, Philly’s team total over is going to be my play. I think they come out hot in this one and uh start this series off pretty well. So, give me the Phillies here. Just Phillies team total over though. Don’t want to take them on the run line. Money line’s going to be too juiced up. I think the team total over is a good spot for this team.
