Insane to me that Burrow has arguably the best WR duo in the NFL and his WR duo in college was still better.

I wonder if the Bengals at least thought of getting rid of Tee Higgins and trading the house for Justin Jefferson.
This gets posted every 6 months. The greatest offense in CFB history is the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers and I would even argue the greatest team in CFB history. I still prefer the 2001 Miami Hurricanes because the amount of NFL talent and some of the most fearsome players in NFL history were on that roster, but Nebraska in 95 was fucking disgusting. To give all you young kids context to how good Nebraska was let’s talk about the 95 Florida Gators.
Florida curb stomped pretty much every single team on their schedule en route to an SEC Championship with HOF head coach Steve Spurrier at the helm of one of hell of a high powered passing offense. Florida went into the championship game averaging 45 points a game and only giving up 17.
Florida **LOST 62-24** to Nebraska
Edit – Forgot my favorite stats. Nebraska had 4000 yards rushing and only like 1500 yards passing. They literally just pounded the rock and didn’t give a fuck what you were gonna try to do about it. They had the highest scoring offense in the NCAA with a mind blowing 52.4 points a game and they did it all on the ground. Their defense was 3rd in the nation with 13.6 points allowed.
Would make less sense if they didn’t win the natty.
I’m going to tell my kids how Macaulay Culkin defeated those two robbers for years and then led the LSU tigers with Farmer Fran as head coach to a championship!
Don’t forget about defense with Stingley at CB.
Also had CEH running the ball
It’s one of those “they must have won the national championship” pictures. And yes, they certainly did.
Crazy that team wasn’t a multi championship dynasty
Imagine how awesome it would’ve been to have Jefferson on the Bengals, that would be unstoppable
They recreated it with Daniels BTJ and Nabers.
All I’m saying is I’d love to see this offense against the 01 Hurricanes. You think Jefferson and chase would be so willing to catch balls over the middle if Sean Taylor or ED Reed was waiting for them?
