  1. Fuck off Daniel Lynch. Coming in that situation and walking the lead off batter is inexcusable. Holy shit. Also we’re so focused on stealing bases (which we’re not even good at) that Garcia doesn’t swing the damn bat because Bobby is stealing third.

    Time to bring up Cags

  2. 2 walkoff losses against a major rival with 13 left on base today. Whole team should be embarrassed.

  3. Something has to give with this offense. It’s just plain unacceptable now

  4. Too bad there’s not a way to give the game loss to other people other than the pitcher…

  5. Offense just went to sleep after the 5th. Bases loaded in the 9th and we proceed to get nobody in. Walked off twice. Maybe this will cause some changes in regards to offense. Who knows? Go Royals.

  6. thats what happens when you leave a pitcher in that gives up 4 runs in one inning and puts runners on in the next inning just because he has a low pitch count. its not a crime to use the bull pen in the fuckin 5th we do it all the time lol

  7. Lynch and Cruz have combined for 15 walks and 13 strikeouts pitching to Freddy and guess which two pitchers nibbled until they couldn’t nibble anymore pitching to Freddy today

  8. Unwatchable team. I can stand a lack of talent, but a lack of basic fundamentals makes a team just so infuriating. Run the bases well, play good defense, good situational hitting, with the pitching we have that is literally all that is needed to be a contender. They do none of those things even average.

  9. Blue Pants Record: W: 3 – L: 9

The Royals are in an abusive relationship with the blue pants

  10. Get Zumwalt off the staff and bring up Jac. This offense is currently gonna play us out of the playoffs

  11. Jake jinxed us on the radio. Said we were 17-1 when we scored four runs, this was right before they dropped three.

  12. Wacha implosion erased a 4-0 lead

    18 strikeouts

3-11 with runners in scoring position

    12 left on base

Daniel Lynch walked two batters and the only out he recorded was on an unbelievable play by Witt that should have been a base hit

  13. Giving up bad walks late in the game is like missing free throws late in the game. You just can’t keep doing it and expect to win.

  14. This team is dog water and I’m tired of pretending it’s not. We’re about to waste several good years from Bobby just to watch him opt out of his contract and sign with an organization that’s actually serious about winning. Q STILL ain’t it and I don’t care how many of you Quatraro apologists refuse to accept that.

Heads need to roll. The team as it is now isn’t sniffing the post season.

  15. Q just assumed we’d get into extra innings so he decided to save Esteves. Get to extras first then throw together a bullpen performance to save us. But god damn, just get to extras first. It’s like Q didn’t even wanna fuck with extras. I’m starting to think that walkoffs are managers’ blundering rather than players’.

  16. 90 loss team, minimum. We are a joke. I’m not watching another game til Zum and Q are fired.

  17. Two on, nobody out in the 9th and we can’t even get ONE productive out. Team is straight up lost at the plate with men on. A complete 180 from last season.

I have a hard time hanging this on our bullpen when we strand as many runners as we did today. Waters & Massey were invisible with men on.

  18. This is a tough loss, being up 4-0 and then having two on base and no outs when Salvy comes up to the plate in the 9th just to lose another walkoff…

We are now 5-10 against the Tigers, Guardians and Twins.

  19. I was on fangraphs looking at some hitting stats and I found that getting walked-off two games in a row is lame ass shit

  20. i don’t know who needs to hear this but if a 28-25 team losing a couple of games by one or two runs is “unwatchable” or “unserious” or whatever other negative buzzwords you got, you might just not enjoy watching baseball and should probably take a break at least ‘cuz that ain’t healthy

  21. You can always spot the casual fans who come and go when they think firing everyone (GM, coaches and front office people) in a small market isn’t going to trigger at least a two season rebuild.

    This isn’t the nfl.

  22. Demanding that Q be fired is absolutely insane to me. Yall act like he’s Tony Muser or Buddy Bell or something. Q has been successful here. Enjoy it. We will not win every game. Chillllllllll

  23. Well that sucked. Back-to-back tough losses. Hopefully they can rebound tomorrow. Go Royals.

  24. 26th in runs per game 3.33

30th in runs per games at Home 3.23

1st in runs allowed per game 3.29

1st in runs allowed per game on the road 3.42

    11-16 on Road

No one should be fired but something has to change with this offense the pitching has been as good as anyone could have hoped for and it’s being wasted

  25. The Royals are just too happy to find a way to lose. So damn frstrating the late inning losses the team in piling up. Meanwhile, the twins and Tigers just jeep winning and winning.

  26. Here the Royals line up for the next game

    1. Willie Wilson
    2. Bobby Witt Jr.
    3. George Brett
    4. Mike Sweeney
    5. 2014 Salvador Pérez
    6. Carlos Beltrán
    7. Amos Otis
    8. Kevin Seitzer
    9. Alex Gordon

  27. Well there are a few things that are apparent after two months:

Move Sal down in the order
Move Garcia to the cleanup spot
They’re going to have to come up with a reliable corner outfielder that can hit #3-5

  28. Little things matter amidst the tight AL central standings. This game was a good microcosm of that. Can’t get swept by the Twins. Might matter later in the year. Gotta win tomorrow. Forever Royal.
