Dallas Cowboys TRYING TO TRADE For Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey?!

Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. The Dallas Cowboys off season may not be done just yet, ladies and gentlemen. Holy cow. It looks like the other substantive trade isn’t just yet out of the question for the Dallas Cowboys. As I would probably argue the biggest remaining fish left on the market as it pertains to trades, free agency, anything. Apparently, the Dallas Cowboys are very much so a team to watch. And I’m going to be honest, man, in this particular offseason, in an offseason where it seems like every time that the Cowboys have actually been connected to a guy, whether it be Cooper Cup, it actually came out, they really were trying to talk to Cooper Cup, the price ran up too high. Whether it be any of these other guys, the Cowboys have actually been in on some of these guys that chose other teams. Dre Green lost. Some of these guys the Cowboys really have been in on that have been reported and Jaylen Ramsay is the latest in the line of big names that are rumored that could be headed to Dallas. Man, let’s get right into this as we have a couple of different sources now actually discussing this possibility. Be sure to subscribe for more Dallas Cowboys content on the regular cuz Whoa. [Music] Man, shut your up. All right, so we see here David Feronz, he actually said this yesterday. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that the Dolphins are engaged with multiple teams on Jaylen Ramsey trade with nothing imminent. Fowler named LA Rams, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Commanders as potential suitors. And the fact there’s only three teams that’s really vying for his his his services right now is actually kind of insane. And all three of those teams, they feel like I think all three of those teams are teams where they’re like, “Hey, if we get Jaylen Ramsey, this is 100% a championship caliber team at this point.” I think all of those teams probably feel exactly that way. Remember, Jaylen Ramsey was one of the pieces that actually helped put the LA Rams over the top the first time when they won their Super Bowls. So, very, very interesting there. Now, I actually want to take a listen to the clip here because it’s one thing actually seeing it written, but it’s another thing listening to the actual context verbally. So, let’s take a listen to what Jeremy Fowler actually had to say as pertains to Jaylen Ramsey potentially headed to the Dallas Cowboys with a little bit more baited breath. Any updates on his situation and a potential trade there? Yes, I was told Miami has been in contact and in talks with several teams about Ramsay. So, nothing imminent yet in part because of that. Okay, so nothing imminent yet. $24 million in guarantees that he is owed in 2025. The do Okay, so the the big hurdle right here looks to be the the fully guaranteed money that Jaylen Ramsay is owed. Now, if I’m not mistaken, I believe Jaylen Ramsey is also another guy that’s a David Mulligetta client. So hopefully Jerry has invited David to his yacht and and they’ve kind of mended that bridge because there’s like 30 to 40% of the Cowboys roster at this point. They’re under that athletes first umbrella. So, they’re going to have to play nice with that agency whether they want to or not. Now, this is very, very interesting stuff. Let’s keep listening. Haven’t shown a willingness to pay a lot of that money. Neither do teams. Now, the LA Rams have been loosely involved here. You know, they won a Super Bowl with Ramsey. They’re very familiar with the player. Nothing hard and fast, though, as far as a deal. NFC East could be one to watch. Dallas Cowboys, look, they made three trades this offseason. Four players on rookie deals. Could they make a fourth trade on a NFL veteran who’s on a bigger contract? Certainly, but they need quarterback help. When I checked with somebody in Dallas, they said, “Look, we it’s possible we might not be done. It’s slow right now, but you know, we could always be looking to add.” Okay, so apparently Jeremy Fowler did speak to someone in Dallas and they didn’t completely shut it down. And you know, Stephven Jones has been at at the helm of this thing, right? Steven Jones been the helm thing. And one thing we know about Stephen Jones is if he doesn’t really think that that the Cowboys going to be involved in something, he’s not going to entertain it. He’s going to say, “Hey, we like our guys. Hey, no, we’re not involved. Hey, we’re not looking at that right now. Hey, we like the guys we have at that position. But the fact that it’s not being shut down, and we did hear Stephen say, I think like a week ago, he pretty much said, “Hey, the Cowboys, we’re still looking for stuff. If we can improve our team, we’re going to do it.” Now, another interesting layer to this entire thing is the fact that all of a sudden, Trevon Diggs has has started posting a documentary on on a YouTube channel, right? And what this documentary has been showing is essentially trying to clear his name, I guess, of the rumors that that were circulated about how he handled his rehab with his ACL injury. Now, some people, DOLs Sports, they’ve taken this as Trevon Diggs going at Jerry and and trying to stick it to Jerry. I I don’t think it’s that at all. I think this is Trarevon Diggs trying to show anybody else that could be interested. Um, hey, I I’m not the guy that that you’re starting to hear reports about as far as not taking this thing serious and X, Y, and Z. And I think the Trevon Diggs factor is probably the one thing that really makes me have some reservations about whether the Cowboys will really do this Jaylen Ramsey deal because you already have Don Bland and he’s due for a contract next season. You already have Trevon Diggs and he’s getting paid what he’s getting paid and actually going into the meat of his deal where he’s going to be getting paid the most. And I think by by most accounts, people think that Diggs is not gonna be a Cowboy after this next season. And now you just drafted Savone Rebel. You traded for Ka Elim. So are you going to muck up that that cornerback room by adding Jaylen Ramsey to it? And what happens if you get Jaylen Ramsey? Do you have Don Blandon and Trevon Digs comes back and you also have Savone Revel. How do you play all of those guys? And how do you justify making the moves that were made at that position um with the money that you’re going to have to be investing in that position? So, unless something else happens, it it really to me right now, I would love I would love to sink my teeth into this and and and go get me a whole new picture of Kool-Aid to start serving to the masses. I would love to do that, y’all. But, I’m going to approach this particular rumor with some cautious optimism. Optimism that, yeah, the Cowboys have proven they’re willing to do things a little bit differently this off season. Um, but cautiousness because I just don’t know that it makes sense if it actually makes strategic sense for the Cowboys to add another high paid corner to that room without doing anything else to that room as of right now. Now, something that could be something to watch is Dron Bland hasn’t been paid just yet. And and this would be the actual offseason to try to pay a Don Bland, right? Uh try to pay him early if you want to get him on a discount, quote unquote. Uh, but what if you don’t pay Don Bland and instead you you take up that salary space with Jaylen Ramsay’s contract? How would everyone feel about that? I think that’s a question I want to ask everybody is how would y’all actually feel about not paying Don Bland and instead taking on Jaylen Ramsay’s contract for the next two or three seasons and then you also have Kier Elim Savone Rebel pretty much incubating behind that trio of corners with Jayla Ramsey Diggs and Deon Bland. You essentially play this season out with all three of those guys at the top of your depth chart. You got the young guys at the bottom of the depth chart and then you let whoever is playing the best play and then after this season you essentially say buy Don, buy Trarevon, come on Jaylen Ramsey, come on Savone Rebel, come on Kaire Elum, come on Israel Mwamu or whoever else they end up drafting for that position. Come on Kaylin Carson. Do you do that instead? That that would be the dialogue I think needs to be had here. But very very interesting and definitely worth keeping an eye on. Till next time. How them cowboys calling me, texting me, paging me, asking me am I still. Y’all usually check on me. Listen, listen, listen. I’m still [Music] boys. Hey, I’m still boys. Uh-huh.

Dallas Cowboys have reportedly been in the mix as it pertains to a trade for Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey according to ESPN Jeremy Fowler

  1. AOC, I need this trade to happen because I already got him on my roster on Madden. If we add him to the star. Lawd were gonna be scary

  2. Instead of doing that why not go get Asante Samuel JR . For the low like 2 years 8-10 million? He’s still a free agent and he’s young. And that would be bland on the outside where he wants to be. I mean Ramsey is borderline HOF but I’d rather have depth with young guys involved. Just a thought.

  3. You know what AOC now that I think about u raised an interesting point. I think the cowboys lowkey is trying to shop bland and that’s why they haven’t paid him. Sure they use the option or the tag but we been hearing news about bland going to the front office about what position he wants to play slot or outside and he said he rather play outside. And with Ramsey in the mix I think bland and a pick would be in play. Get Ramsey here and get the dolphins to take on half of that garanteed money or something and we cookin wit grease

  4. It wouldn’t matter until we can do something on defense besides rush the passer we are done. Never seen us get ran on at will like we have these past three seasons. Need a DL asap

  5. I would take Jalen Ramsey’s contract over Trevon Diggs any day, and twice on Sunday.

Diggs is skilled CB because of his past as a receiver, but was still having trouble locking down a whole side on his own because of falling for the “ Double Move” and not turning his hips in sync with receivers in time to block passes.

Once OC’s learned his weakness, the game planned to expose him.

But Ramsey is STILL a Dawg!!

We got enough skilled CB’s in the backfield. We need more Dawgs like Ramsey and Reville

  6. I don't know how the Cowboys are gonna get Jalen Ramsey when he's owed $24M on his contract but you can never put this past Stephen and company to make another move. I would anticipate after June 1st that you can get Ramsey as opposed to before June 1st because the dead money cap hit for Ramsey is $49M and I don't think that the Dolphins want to pay that. Plus I think that Miami would want a lot back in return for Ramsey and I think that this would be a package that could be talked about if it was presented:

    Cowboys Acquired:
    CB Jalen Ramsey
    Cash Considerations

    Dolphins Acquired:
    2025 2nd
    2026 4th
    CB Calen Carson

  7. No Stephenon Gilmore makes way more sense… he will just mess up the chemistry of the team if you bring someone like Jaylen Ramsey bringing Gilly because you don’t have to give up any draft and you can pay him like $7 million so you have money to pay a defensive tackle and bring in Amari Cooper as well and we will have a Super Bowl team

  8. If they get him cool. But for the love of god please figure out a way to stop teams from running the ball over this defense. Been a problem for years now
