GAME 3 REACTION: Dallas Stars Offensive Woes Continue in 6-1 Thumping by Edmonton

The Dallas Stars lack of offense haunts them in game three as Steuart Skinner and the Oilers went in convincing fashion, leaving the Stars scratching their heads looking for answers. It’s the same bold song and dance with the Dallas Stars offense against Steuart Skinner and the Oilers who take game three by a final score of 6 to1 and take a 2-1 series advantage in the Western Conference final. We’re here to break it all down on today’s episode of Locked On Stars, part of the Locked On podcast network, your team every single day. We’re going to touch on Stuart Skinner, who is starting to be a difference. He was great this afternoon and why I’m not quite ready to write the obituary on the Dallas Star. So, stick around for that as well. And today’s episode brought to you by Monarch Money. Take control of your finances with Monarch Money. I I I don’t think the lack of effort from the Stars is remotely a reason why Dallas lost the game tonight. They they they played pretty darn well for for large stretches. And at the end of the day, it it all boils down to Dallas just bearing down and finishing on some chances. They have to find the net. They have to find a way to beat Steuart Skinner. They had plenty of chances. And the the second period is just a perfect example. They’re all over the Oilers, all over Edmonton. and they outshot the Oilers 22 to7 in the second period. And they left the period trailing by two, which was the same exact score they trailed by heading into that frame because Conor McDavid was able to bury one in the final minute with 18 seconds remaining. And that was virtually the the dagger for Dallas. But the the Stars were all over the Oilers in that second period. They they generated a total of 16 scoring chances. 16 scoring chances at five on five and they have to score. And it’s Rantin and it’s Robertson. It’s Sean. It’s Duchain. I it’s Marchment. And I I’ll take this over Dallas not generating anything and not testing Skinner enough. I’ll take this version of the Stars, but it really is infuriating. And I understand that, Stars fans. These these games are absolutely the worst to consume because you sit there feeling like we should maybe be in front. Maybe you don’t win the game, but they probably deserve a bit more for their efforts because it’s not a lack of effort. They just have to bear down and score. They have to find a way. They have to find a way to bear down and get one past Steuart Skinner or at least get more than one in that second period because that felt like such a dagger after McDavid scored after all of the work they put in and and they were hungry. Their forche was much better. The pressure was great. For the first time in the series, you felt like at five on five, Dallas was a bit overwhelming. And credit to Evans, they capitalized on all their chances tonight. they they or at least most of them and and Dallas was just snake bitten and and I think some of it is bounces, some of it is puck luck. Like Dallas isn’t getting a ton of that which stinks. It would have been nice for them to get a call in the game too. They they go 0 for two on the the power play. It would have been nice to to benefit from the delay of game penalty that wasn’t called in the first period and then like 18 seconds later Edmonton goes up one to nothing when you should have been on the power play. The officiating hasn’t been very great. Hasn’t been very good. I I think that that crew is just allergic to making a right call for whatever reason. And and that stinks. The officiating is not why Dallas lost because even with all of that that took place, if Dallas just scores on a third of the chances, they they probably win this game. They they really do. And I know the score is 6-1. It’s ugly. And I’m I’m not going to question effort in a 5-1 game at 10 minutes left. Look, at that point, you cut your losses and you prepare for for game four. And and let’s not write the obituary quite yet for Dallas. Stars were up 2-1 last year and look how that turned out. Dallas, I think, is still okay. And as weirdly as it may sound, I I’m still pretty positive on what we saw for for some for some stretches in this hockey. they still have to put together way way better 60-minute efforts if if they want to find a way back in the series or well they’re in the series but to find a way to win the series but when you watch like the second period in particular Dallas can easily hang with the Oilers or they can hang maybe they can be better I I don’t know um but the Oilers have proven they’re the better team through the first three games but the second period I think is a great example of when Dallas finally has their foot on the gas. They’re just not able to get across the finish line. They’re not able to get one more, maybe tie that game after the robo goal since Liam Bishop was not credited with the goal after we originally thought it goes to Jason Robertson. if they’re able to tie the game heading into the third period or they just stay within one, maybe the outcome’s different. But instead, they only get one out of all that zone time, all that pressure in the second period. And some of that is is is credit to Skinner, who’s been great um and credit um to to Edmonton. I I I yes, I I I’m frustrated um w with what’s going on. Look, um it it’s it’s incredibly infuriating. I I I wish I had uh a more invigorating invigorating rant for for y’all, but I think it just boils like score. I I like we can go down the list. We we can go down the list. Um just missing nets, wide open nets. Uh, Duchain, Matt Duchaine, he’s a 30 goal scorer. He’s got one goal this postseason. He scored 30 goals in the regular season. White Johnson scored 33 in the regular season. Haven’t seen a lot out of him. Haven’t seen a lot out of him other than the power play. Has been pretty non-existent for the most part. Um, who else do you want to throw out there? Roberts in 35 goals in the regular season. He’s got one now. Um, that’s nice. Uh, Mason Marchman, he’s had 22 goals during the regular season. Where has he been? Right. And it it sort of contradicts what I’ve been saying that they’re generating some chances and it’s good, but you you got to you got to score. You you have to you have to find a way. You have to find a way to beat Skinner. You have to find a way. They have to find the back of the net. Um look, I I like and I could I could I could read off all the numbers, too. And and and a lot of them a lot of them are in favor of Dallas. I just I don’t think that matters anymore uh at this point. Um, and Dbor mentioned that ahead of of the game tonight because we’ve had concerns about the Stars five on five playing all that good stuff. Just who cares? Like just just beat a a mediocre goalender. Uh, like and that includes Ranton and it includes Granlin. It includes all these guys. And there’s some there’s some stars had some really good games tonight. They really did which stinks. Um, and we’re going to highlight some of them, but it’s all just a mute point because they they fell tonight six to one. Um, and it and um and don’t get me wrong. Uh, yeah, they they played good in the second period, but you can’t play one period. Like there there’s there’s a beginning, a middle, and an end of each hockey game. and Dallas continuing continuously is showing up for one period in this series each game. It’s a recipe for disaster. It’s a recipe for disaster. Um and and the series could end in five games if they if they they don’t they don’t figure it out. They’re still holding me on by a bit though, Stars fans. They really are. They’re still holding me on because they they’re they’re they’re getting some looks. They really are. Um it just boils down to finding the back of the net. You have to you have to beat you have to beat Skinner. I you’re you’re getting bested by a goalender that has been repeatedly pulled in the postseason last two years and you’re making him look like Patrick Wah. They can’t hit the net and and it and it’s just up and down the it’s it’s just up and down the lineup. It it it’s up and down the lineup. They’re just not getting enough out of out of everyone. And I’m trying to be trying to be positive here, Stars fans. I I am because there’s some good stuff to see. But they’re just they’re getting outplayed. Nobody worth a damn on the Dallas Stars or is getting paid like they’re worth a damn has has stepped up yet. Has stepped up yet. and and Jay Conraer can’t be the only one to try to slow down the Oilers offense. He’s just he’s he’s been awesome and it’s time for others to bail him out. It’s time for others to to help him out. I’ll just throw some numbers out there. Just throw it out there. Stars outshoot Oilers 36- 24 um in the contest. They out chance them 29 to 18. They out high danger chance them 14-8 at expected goals for at five on five 3.46 expected goals for the Oilers at five on five 1.49. um very very infuriating game to watch and Stuart Skinner is becoming a difference in the series and he’s outplaying Jakeer which is a very sobering thought. We’ll get into that in just a moment. Today’s episode of Locked On Stars is brought to you by Monarch Money. Ever check your bank account and wonder where did all my money go? By the way, go follow us at Locked OnStars. You can engage with me there throughout the the series. It all boils down once again to this offense just going completely quiet, just non-existent. For the third straight season, back-to-back years against Steuart Skinner and the Oilers, the offense is just nowhere to be found. Just nowhere to be found. when every year I I mean every season all regular season long we we talk about this defense. What are they going to do with Leouchkin? What are they going to do with Cody Cece? What are they going to do with this guy Matt Dumba? Neil Swanquist. What are they going to do? It’s the offense every single year. It’s the offense. Um, and it’s not like the defense should not have any responsibility for for what has occurred, but I I I don’t see any other any other any other department for Dallas to go after other than the Stars offense. Just just taking just taking nights off. taking nights off. Um and and and it’s and it’s key players. The first period, your best line is Sam Steel, Oscar Beck, and Colin Blackwell. Your best line is Sam Steel, Oscar Beck, and Colin Blackwell for a large chunk of the first half of this hockey game. And this is turning into a bit of an extension of of my my first segment, but I I think it’s truly important because it it’s been the difference in the series. This offense just once again is is nowhere to be found. Sam Steel, by the way, just working his balls off. Just working his balls off has been awesome. Was incredible. I Oscar Beck, Blackwell looked good tonight. Let’s let’s just take a look at um let’s just take a look at uh those those three players in particular. Uh Colin Blackwell at 32 years of age. Uh $775,000 cap hit. Sam Steel 2.1 million cap hit. Oscar Beck $825,000 cap hit. So, three players on your fourth line that are making what? Under a combined $4 million, let’s just be safe. I think it’s even under three and a half are your best players in game three for for a large chunk of it or at least early when when Dallas needs to try to get off to a good start. They just can’t help themselves. uh just beyond beyond sobering that this is the third straight season we’re doing this and I do apologize for Stars fans that may feel I’m I’m not as upset as I should be. I trust me I am. It may not be showing but it is just infuriating and and I’ve I’ve gotten to the point I think in this series where it’s just like you got to score goals. You have to you have to score more goals than the other team and just missed opportunities. And like I said, I I I I would like if this is a regular season game, I would go through be like, “Oh, these are awesome numbers.” Like look at Ranton. His scoring chance numbers are just awesome. And but you we’re we’re getting way we’re getting way too close. We’re getting way we’re two games away now from Dallas uh being eliminated for the third straight season and I I wish they would take advantage of this opportunity and not blow it. But they haven’t looked very good in the first three games of this series. They haven’t looked very good. Who has looked good and we’ll now kind of meander our way into this. Steuart Skinner is starting to be a difference. He’s starting to be a a difference in the series. I don’t know what it is. He just may like playing against Dallas for whatever reason. He’s looked very good. Very, very good. The expected goals against was 3.92 here tonight. And an even more sobering thought is he’s out playing Jake Hoter. And I’m not and I’m not putting I’m not putting any of this on Jake. Um I I really not Does he need to play a little bit better? Sure. Like yes, we we’d like our goalie to pitch shutouts every game. Um we’d like him to to come up with some big stops here and there, but as I said a bit earlier, be nice if they could give him some run support. um one goal in your last two games, you’re you’re just asking Jake to be too perfect. That that’s why the Oilers can get away with how they play or get away with having what we see as just a a pretty average goalender in Stuart Skinner because they believe, not only they believe, they know they can put up enough goals, they can put up enough offense to support him. And Dallas just has no answer. They have no answers to him. They just look they look flabbergasted. They look flabbergasted and and they did get to some areas too in the game, but just just bury the puck. Just find a way find a way to to get that puck across the goal line. It’s it’s extremely extremely upsetting to watch this for a third season in a row now back-to-back back-to-back uh Western Conference Finals where they just they they can’t solve Steuart Skinner. Um at least they tested him a bit today. They had 34 shots. Like that was nice. Um they they just didn’t lie down. Um but but my goodness, he’s he’s been good. I I like I I I have to give credit to Edmonton, too. I I have to give credit. They they’ve just been better. Um and Dallas looked overwhelmed in this series. That first period, I was like, “Oh my god, here we go.” Like, this team is just going to get ran out of the building. Um this is how I expected some of the Colorado series to happen. Um, but what I’ve seen from Edmonton in this year is is way more concerning than what I ever saw against Winnipeg or or Colorado. They just they don’t seem to have an answer. Maybe it’s a a mental thing. I I don’t know. Um like I I I I don’t know what to I I don’t know who to pin it on. And like like I see there’s some Stars fans Pete Dbor and I I do get that. I think it’s fair, but at the same time like as I’ve said like Dallas like they generated some chances. So like maybe the guys that you’re paying to score could score and help out, but at the end of the day like Pete seems to get in this weird hurdle where it’s like hard to get over this hump of the Western Conference final. I I don’t know. Like also um it it it it doesn’t help that Conor McDavid, the best player in the world’s on the other side. Like if he wants to if he wants to score, he can pretty much score. It’s just how it is because he’s just phenomenal. But it would be nice if Dallas would try to make his life hard, try to take him out of the game somehow physic physically, like hit the guy, shove him. I I don’t know. something other than just letting him waltz through. Um, I I just speechless to some degree. Stars fans, please sound off in the comments. Please sound off. Please sound off because I I just I I wish I I wish I wish hence was there tonight, too. Um, by the way, since I haven’t touched on it yet, uh, Rope skated in warm-ups for a bit, but he did not take line rushes. He left and he wasn’t, um, able to go. I I would love to see Johnston’s like, Johnston, where are you, pal? Robo, I know you scored tonight, but let’s not kid ourselves like that was Robo’s goal. Um, Dutchie again. and and and and Dutchy does good things like they’re doing good things, but it’s 6-1. It’s 6-1. And yeah, I think maybe the the score is not totally indictative indicative of of how Dallas played, but they at the end of the day, it’s a loss. Um, and they just they’re they’re scratching their heads because Steuart Skinner has them has them just just befuddled. Just befuddled. Um, let’s look at the shots on goal tonight, uh, as well by individuals. Jason Robertson had five tonight. That’s a great Colin Blackwell had five. Sam Steel had three. Lean Bishell had three. Um, that’s that’s good to see. But then you got like Mo just two shots. Duchain just two, Sean two, Granland with one. Uh Johnson had three tonight. Can’t recall a ton of those. Um h just beyond infuriating. But Skinner again, he he’s he’s out playing Andre to some degree. And it’s not Otter’s fault. Like a lot of this is his fault, but he’s still being outplayed. And the Stars offense is not helping. They’re just they’re not being a difference in the series at all. H my go my goodness. Um I just find it really hard to to go after some players or maybe call them out because like for the most part I like they had some sh like there was some good stuff but like good stuff doesn’t win you this doesn’t win games this time of year, right? it doesn’t win games. Like it was it was like I I I like it’s I’m trying to be positive like yay. Way to go guys. Moral victories everybody. You guys you guys generated enough chances to score but you didn’t and you lost 6-1 and you got embarrassed on the road. Um uh just uh Stars fans, please sound off in the comments. On the on the other side of this, why I’m not writing the obituary yet for Dallas. This is going to be the it’s going to be the rallying cry for Stars fans everywhere heading into game four. You bet your bottom dollar. All right, so be ready. That’s in just a moment. We have plenty of time, Stars fans, to blame whoever, to blame an individual, the coaching staff, Jim Nil, whoever you want to blame when the Stars are finally eliminated. If they are eliminated, but we’re not here to do that yet, okay? We’re we’re we’re three games in to a Western Conference final. It it’s just three games and it’s it’s not time to start rattling off obituaries or are starting to to call it over yet. All right. Um we have we have we have plenty of time to do that when the time comes. So why sit here and and just and and just sulk? We’re not going to do that. All right. The Stars, the Stars in this series is far from over. Still not over. And Dallas has shown some signs of life in the series. Easier said than done, but you have to put it together for 60 minutes. And all it takes all it takes is one win on Tuesday night. Dallas ties the series at two games and then it’s a best of three with Dallas having home ice advantage in that best of three so to speak. All they need is one to freaking go. They need a couple to go and then boom, it starts to snowball. But they have to do a few things. Number one, you have to get up on this Oilers team. Make them play from behind. You’re trailing too darn much. this Oilers team is too good and you’re letting Skinner off the hook letting him play with two three goal advantages. It’s It’s much easier It’s much easier for Skinner to feel comfortable when he has a two two three goal run support to to feel to feel confident in his game. You have to you have to get out early. Stop sleepwalking your way into contests. It’s just such a bad recipe. The Stars have gotten away with it in the first two rounds. It has to end now, but they can come back in this series and they can find a way to win. They absolutely can. It’s It’s not over yet. It It’s obviously not been great the first three games. Not trying to give you the illusion that it is, but all it takes is for one game, one game to change the series and get back in it. Tied this thing at two, heading back home for game five. And we touched on this a bit a bit after Winnipeg game five when Dallas just got shut out and completely embarrassed again on the road. Good teams will not let what happened in one game carry over to the next this time of year. It’s the first game of the postseason or the first time I should say that the Stars have lost have lost back-to-back games. They’re usually a very very good response team. It would have been nice to get a few calls here tonight in game three. Maybe that changes. There’s a lot of things that did not go the way for for Dallas tonight, but they also have to create some of that luck. They also have to produce some of those bounces, produce some of those chances, and produce some of their calls by putting a full 60 minutes together of Dallas Stars hockey. We haven’t seen it enough. They’ve allowed Edmonton to run havoc and wreak havoc on on themselves on themselves for the first three games of this series. And it’s it’s not over yet. It’s a reason they have to play a best of seven. You can find a way to punch back and start being the aggressor. Start being the bully in this series. Start being a difference. Start being the difference. Start with your best players playing and being impactful on the ice. Where’s some of that leadership that has to show? We need Mo Ranton and we need Jamie Ben. We need Tyler Sean to buck up, pull up the bootstraps, and will this team to a game four victory. It has to be done. Otherwise, it is lights out and you’re out of here before the snap of a finger. If you do not win on Tuesday night series and the season is over, you combust for a third straight season in the Western Conference final and probably one of the last times you’ll ever get there. If you’re one Tyler Sean or Jamie Ben, it’s it’s it’s you’re running out of time. It has to be done. So, Stars fans, do not fret just yet. We have time to write obituaries when that time arrives. But right now, it’s about trying supports team, support the positives that they’ve done, and try to will them back into a victory on Tuesday. That’s all, I’m trying to say. You can you can disagree with me. that that is fine, but we’re going to just try to try to whatever we have to do to send good vibes up to Alberta and and get this team rolling. And I’ll say it again, Stars went up 2-1 last season and they got completely boat raced, not boat raced, but they lost three straight to lose the series. I think Dallas can do that if they actually play up to their potential. Play up to your damn potential. That includes everybody. Steve spot Nazerdine beat Tborore up and down the lineup. That includes everybody. Play up to your potential. Don’t allow Steuart Skinner and the Oilers to just wreak havoc and run havoc on you because you’re they’re a better team than that. And they they have to adapt. They have to adapt and make adjustments. They can’t continue to do the same thing. That’s what we’ve seen too much already. We saw it last year and it’s starting to be the same script again. So, let’s let’s change the narrative. Don’t fear the outcome, change the outcome. Jimbo Fischer, one of my favorite quotes. Don’t fear the outcome, change the outcome. That’s what I’m going to leave with leave you with uh this afternoon. Stars fans, please sound off in the comments. Um, if you feel the need to. Uh, it’s it’s it’s it’s just it’s leaving me speechless so far that we’re we’re watching it. We’re watching it again. It’s like it’s deja vu. It’s deja vu. I’m almost numb to it. I’m I’m almost numb. I’m almost numb to it, which is, I don’t think, a good thing at this time of year. All right, Stars fans. That’ll do it for today’s episode of Locked On Stars. Please hit the subscribe button, like, comment, of course, hit the notification bell. I appreciate all of you for tuning in each uh and every day. H Stars Stars can get back in it. I believe it. I believe it. Um, but the Oilers now have a 2-1 series advantage. They take game three six to one this afternoon. Can’t believe I’m even looking at that score. They’ll be back on Tuesday. we will as well to get you ready for game three or game four. Apologies. And we’ll break it all down, of course. Enjoy your weekend. Um, enjoy your Memorial Day as well. Thank you to all those that have served. Um, and uh have uh uh provided freedom for for us in this uh great country. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Um enjoy the Memorial Day weekend with friends, family. Uh of course, once again, thank you to all that serve. Um, enjoy uh enjoy Memorial Day and uh we’ll be back on Tuesday to uh to get back to work, so to speak. And the Dallas Stars should try to do that as well. See you next episode, Stars fans. So long.

On today’s episode of Locked On Stars, Joey Erickson reacts to the Dallas Stars 6-1 loss in Game 3 on Sunday afternoon. The Stars offensive woes continue to haunt them as Edmontons offense was too much for the Stars to hang with despite a majority of shots and chances in the game. For the third straight season the offense has gone quiet and leaving Dallas looking for answers. Joey also discusses the play of Stuart Skinner who continues to leave the Stars looking for answers, plus outplaying Jake Oettinger at the other end of the rink. 1. Avalanche fan, so Im sure Dallas fans will jump all over me. When you got Rantanen you all immediately thought you would win the cup easy. Time to admit you arent unbeatable. Very good team, but gotta do the work. More top guys need to step up.

  2. Well first and last time I ever watch hockey in my life, the war no cowboys or Barcelona to root for so I just said well let’s see the buzz about the stars and we’ll thanks for the small ride but I’m out NHL is very biased and rigged to traditional teams

  3. Overcommiting constantly and giving the oilers odd man rushes is not a good strategy.. absolutely attrocious. This oilers team is very beatable and the stars can definately beat them but they need to play their game and forget about whats happened the last 2 because theyre handing this to the oilers on a platter.

  4. Theyre already planning for the final guys.. get the f**k up and make em earn it. The score doesnt speak the game i watched and the stars can beat this obnoxious oiler team 100 percent.

  5. Mikko Rantanen hit crossbar hurt. Oilers shoot high blocker side every time and score on Otter. No way was this his fault though. You can say offense nowhere to be found but they outshot them by a lot today. Skinner is not consistent but you gotta give him credit in last 2 games. 97’s play on goal at end of 1st period was out of this world to bank puck off the boards for odd man rush.

  6. When do you guys expect to get Benn back in the lineup? You really could use some of that toughness that he's there to bring for the Stars.

  7. Just imagine when the Oilers get their best defenseman back in the lineup, might have a roster spot opened up for him with the likely head injury cause by the Petrovic head shot when he didn't have the puck.

  8. Saying “it would have been nice to get a call” and immediately following it up with “they went oh for on the powerplay” is crazy ☠️

  9. Stars got to get it together. Maybe fire the coach. He has been good but can’t win the big game. I know we down 2-1 but it feel like we are down 3-0

  10. Officiating has been terrible! How did they miss the crosscheck hintz through on darnell nurse before the slash?! Mind blowing.

  11. The puck luck and officiating excuses are terrible.. wake up people, the Oilers are better… congrats on enjoying Ice hockey though.

  12. "There were sporadic “Jaaaaaacob” chants throughout the night, but for a bit in the second period, fans started to chant “U.S. backup” at the American goaltender."

  13. The fact that one team can PURPOSELY hurt one your players and NOTHING happens to them is so fucked up in Hockey. Where is the competition in taking out other teams players? NHL is a joke

  14. I don’t think people understand how serious the Oilers are talking these playoffs. I follow the team very closely and there all bought in from the coaching staff to the players to the goalies. Everyone is playing some incredible hockey for this team and to be honest the only games this team played bad was games 1 and 2 of the LA series. Vegas game 3 was a fluke and Dallas game 1 the Oilers played a good 40 minutes in that game. This teams chewing up there opponents in the playoffs and there not going to stop.

  15. Oilers don't even need to play okay or good to win, its bizarre and annoying. They did the same thing to Vegas. Doesn't matter if you outplay them, they're INEVITABLE. I surrender. GO OILERS.

  16. These podcasts all start out the same, smug hosts giving Oilers no shot at beating their beloved teams, giving all the check marks to their own team in all areas, then they realize that the Oilers are in fact a wagon , as deep a team as there is in the final four with 30 goal scorers sitting in the press box… and then for whatever reason think that their best players are as good as the Oilers best players. I will be shocked if the series goes six… Go Oilers 🧡💙

  17. Time to retool this teams core- keep Rantanen, Hinta, Johnston, Miro, Harley, Bichsel, and Esa, everything else goes, I love Seguin, Benn, and Duchy but they are not showing up on the scoreboard and their paychecks are ridiculous. Three tips to WCF and this is what we get? Unacceptable!!!

  18. Oilers are clearly better! Lack of leadership, toughness and execution. Changes needed in summer with the cap situation. Robo needs to be traded along with Dumba to get something back and have some flexibillity. Bourque is a must-resign. Granny too. Nils and Ceci could be also be nice to have in the future. The others just arent showing up when it matters. Jamie maybe should retire. 😢 Biggest Problem is the Seguin contract. A lot of work for Jim. This team isnt there yet. And if you are honest, Stars were shaky the whole season.

  19. In the old days, Darrien Hatcher would send Nurse into yesterday for taking out no. 1 center. Stars are too soft.

  20. Well , I love your podcast , think you are great , I am a fan listener . But … I have watched my stars since they came to Dallas . I think we are hearing them , coach included say the same thing we always hear …I have a hard time believing that the outcome will be any different. The oilers and their shitty fans are hungrier than the stars . The oilers are out playing us , they win most of the board battles , they exit their zone with little or no resistance.. that has to change if the stars are going to have a chance. Crash the net , get in skinners face. I am growing to not like the oilers as much as the knights. I do have a lot more respect for the oilers. Here is the kicker … you let suckberg score on you !
