Winless no more. The Hurricanes finally win a conference final game for the first time since 2006.

  1. At some point they were bound to wake up, honestly good for them and now canes fans don’t have to see the endless memes if it was another sweep.

  2. The mass of Florida fans leaving immediately after the first empty net goal in a conference final game…

  3. Not even a Canes fan and I needed this. Can’t imagine how the players feel.

  4. Last time the canes won a game in the Con Final they won the Cup… 😳😳😳

  5. I love the karma that is all of those Florida fans paying all that money to be at a game thinking they were going to witness a sweep and they got to watch a loss instead.

  6. Going into the series, I just wanted to avoid the sweep. Anything more than that was just the icing on the cake.

  7. And let that be a lesson, nobody beats the Canes in the ECF 16 times in a row!

  8. Totally unrelated to hockey but is the wampus cat a thing in Carolina

  9. Just glad to see this series extended, regardless of who wins.

Last thing I want to see is Florida get an extra week’s rest while Dallas and Edmonton battle it out.

  10. when i said i feel bad for carolina, i don’t feel THIS bad. absolutely embarrassing performance tonight.

  11. I’m just happy that I finally get to see Nikishin in person. All 3 appearances have been road games.

  12. Carolina decided they wanted to be eliminated at home /hj (prove me wrong Carolina, do it)

  13. Nobody sweeps the Carolina Hurricanes FOUR times in a row in the ECF

  14. The Hurricanes just aren’t the kind of team that loses an ECF game 16 times in a row, they’re just built different

  15. Did someone come to the press conference and say:

“Let this be a lesson to the league. No one beats the Carolina Hurricanes 16 times in row in eastern conference final games”

    Wasted opportunity if they didn’t
