I’m gonna be honest with you. I still love football and my teams been shit for 10 years.
The stink of the sportsbooks is all over sports now. Most sports feel as arbitrarily run and rigged as ever.
You can go. You won’t be missed.
The interest reduction is less about the integrity (never really was any) and more about the corporate greed.
NFL is unwatchable now. I wish it weren’t but it is.
It’s like watching an NBA game now. Super technical and full of judgement calls where refs ultimately pick the winners.

I haven’t noticed any decreased interest in the NFL tbh. Seems like every year games set new viewership records, still always top on all the sports shows. Nobody in my life has stopped watching, but maybe that’s just me
In what world is everyone losing interest in the NFL? Even with the quality arguably dropping, it is still a rating behemoth that crushes every other sporting event in the USA

I mean this is part of the reason I don’t pick one team. I would say I have a most favorite AFC and NFC team that I’ve always liked, but I enjoy sports. I have a lot of teams I like or go in and out of having interest for.
I rather follow players I like watching because yeah, there are off field situations that can make players annoying and cap things that can make teams annoying, but I want to watch my favorite sports. I could care less for loyalty because they don’t act in my best interests all the time. I buy merch when I want and all but they don’t sign players or situations I agree with. So I’m not shackling myself to a team who acts against my interest in making a good football team.
I also moreover hate teams that are either fouling and not called or just overly arrogant. Maybe they’re rivals with a team I like more and they go down my list. Their players overrated and put in discussions they don’t belong in. It’s a fluid list of enjoyment or frustration but no team deserves me losing sleep. I’ll just not watch 2 teams I despise like the SB. Couldn’t have cared less about that.
Do…do you actually think most fans believe there’s an intentional effort by the league to fix outcomes in the Chiefs favor?

Losing interest in the NFL? While I agree that the game has lost all its flow now that there is penalties and play stoppage after basically every play, surprisingly, view is up every single year and it has never been more popular.

The Patriots and Chiefs are the only modern dynasties. At the very least, the patriots had deflategate and jets spygate. What did the chiefs do besides benefit from some 50-50 calls and great your team’s ass? Sorry ass fan bases out here crying.
Also, the kc metro continues to grow while Olathe and Overland Park are both top cities to live in in America.
