NHL Game 4 Highlights | Oilers vs. Stars – May 27, 2025

for game number four and we’re underway. It’s a fourth line starting for Pete Dour. Might have been their best line. Craig Kane had McDavid wide open on the side flank there. Just couldn’t control the puck as he came off the bench. McDavid steals under his first off. A rebound in front. Bouncing puck and they sent in by Mark. Skinner stops it up. holds on to it and plays it past Z to the wide but not a in behind the net. It’s in front of Skinner. A chance here and he fires that wide. See a misplay there and then Sean the right-handed shot throws it. This shot across I thought hit the post and then off the pad on the other side away at center Blackwell’s got it back in for Dallas. bounces that on to Skinner got a hit and here’s a lead feed. It’s Johnson hanging off. Grab it in play. Put it back up. Oh, the rebound up ahead goes to Duchine. A two and one with Sean on his back hand back to Duchain. Now it’s draw wide. Close call. Sean with a chance and Skinner gets a piece of that. Harley in front now. Duchain a back hand wide. First to the side of the net and the Oilers get it out. Back the other way they come. McDavid hits the line. Works it across. It goes high and around it comes for taken to Duchain got loose on the right side. Back it goes in front of Ster by Skinner and a power play goal in each of the three games of the series. They started out with a faceoff win and it is McDavid firing it. That’s a good right pad stop by to kill a little extra time before peeling back to the Dallas Pence. Here comes Leonid over the line and he scores. [Applause] just his second. That’s a spot that typically he’s just so dangerous from. Watch the little give and go and there was not much room. That’s a perfect angle to watch from where we’re situated. Good speed on the entry and a little stop up and he’s just ready to shoot. Never even a back swing on that one. A heart wrist shot one timer. Look at the stick movement. at all. He beats Otton to the post. Goes underneath the glove in game number three. Just the third time this season that had happened. There’s Mark putting it in front there by Duchain. Duchain recovers. Marksman and Skinner square to the shooter and a couple of good sticks and they’re able to alleviate the pressure. Edmond still not back as Wman leads Edmonson in. Flips that towards the Dallas Cage. Let it go. McDavid and knocked away by Cece. Hints back the other way. Cece drives the lane. Here’s Cody Cece. Stop the rebound. Quite sure where this one is. Squeeze the pads as tight as he could. Looks behind him with Mel Hastman in there looking for a little offense here in the late stages of the first period. But Dard stop by. So all of a sudden now you got to get back defensively. Little area pass. Bashar makes the shot. Look like they were at the end of a shift and could take advantage of that counterattack. Here’s McDavid. Hill gets stopped by Octar in tight. He gets back though does a nice job of a little give and go and then it’s Conor McDavid at the end of that shift just trying to get that rebound through. Autinger with two big saves there. One killed 13 of 15 at home. Brands and that’s off at the horn by Skinner. Wow. Skinner shape is going to be enough time to get a shot. A bounce and a quick reaction. That’s the size of Skinner. But look at the positioning of him too. Ranton waits for it to settle down. Gets the shoulder up at the last second game as he did in game three and Pete Kavor said as much. But right now, if you’re a Dallas star, you got to find a way to be determined enough to try to get one by Steuart Skinner. Good luck. Three shots for Dallas. 0 for two now here in game four on the power play. A chance there for Kane. Steel fencing with Kane and Kane up with that puck to B. Lost it and Rico shot the rebound left in front. Robertson looking for Harley. Harley in the slot. Sega drops it off. Brand Harley fires. Rebound sliding in the crease. Still loose. taken away by got hit there by Bradley. Back across for Robertson and SC again. Back to Robertson one more time. Jason Robertson. Thomas Harley. Robertson down low. Quick across to Graless. Harley. Robertson for the slot. Scores. It’s a power play goal for Jason Robertson. [Applause] Well, the best looking power play sequence Dallas has had all night. All the chaos in front. A couple of good passes and one big shot through a screen. You could see Steuart Skinner’s reaction. Didn’t pick it up enough. You know, Robertson’s been a guy that’s been under the gun. scored the only goal in game three and then maybe the confidence from that just took an extra second and moved three feet up with the pack from the corner back to Bard holds on. shot across to McDavid down to Newton Hopkins. He’ll score the thing of beauty. Just so difficult when you’re attacking lanes in this power play. started with McDavid driving the lane trying to nice little around the net and then Ryan Lutheran Hopkins again showing all kinds of patience all kinds of confidence as soon as Cody Cece lifted the stick watch the patience here the shot pulls it around stick comes up and Perry who gets it or excuse me back to Harley and here’s Bartman down low Robertson to the net comes in with Bryce. Leon Bryce settles in. Holds and a short paper shot. The Walker stop clear. Kicked in by that beat through right on goal. Jean Dallas tilted the ice in the third period of game one. The Oilers did the same two days ago in game number three. And we start the third period of game [Music] four. Here’s Newton Hopkins sending that on goal looking for his own rebound and that’s chopped on by Harry P. So he’s picked up the slap without time. Here’s Victor Arinson. Let’s turn the side with a under eight minutes that he’s played. And I like this idea. You know, don’t get down. Three to one. Look out. Here he comes. McDavid speeds in then turns back. finds Perry shooting and got a piece of that and heads up right in the slot there. Quick release by Cory Perry. They’ve done a good job of it. Also Lindell sends it into the corner deep. Robertson behind the net in looking to center and pile up in front couldn’t get a stick on the puck. Oops. Well, the others don’t get it out until now. And here’s 97 to work. McDavid across. Chance of Hawker. Club stop there off Kane. Defend a onegoal lead. You get your offense going. McDavid to Kane. And a big glove save there. Watch there by Steel from the corner. McDavid in behind. Double got a stick on that. Hopkins go through the stick the last time and then on the back door. I’m not sure if that one off the face off in the Oilers own clear net [Applause] in faceoff win critical. Good box out on the side and a hang time pass and just skates right through it. You know the Stars are trying to attack back down into Dallas territory in the final minute here in game four. That will stop for the empty [Applause] scores. Adam Henrik adds to the lead 41 here in game four. They won three straight to host Dallas last year. Take one three straight to put the Stars on the brink. [Music]

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins stayed hot in Game 4 with two helpers on the power play before Kasperi Kapanen and Adam Henrique iced the game with two empty netters as the Edmonton Oilers take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Dallas Stars.

  1. Danke Oilers !

  2. So, Panthers-Oilers final again. I hope the Cats are ready for this one. Oilers are hungry and the fact they're playing the very team who crushed their dreams last year only motivates them even more. There's going to be a lot of hits, a lot of fights, and tons of drama. Likely to be the most electric series of the decade.

  3. I read some of the comments from Dallas fans after game 1, and I just said to myself, folks, it is a best of 7 schedule. The Oilers have a formidable team and coach, and they are under-rated because the are a Canadian team. Now Look. It is looking to be an IN FIVE show.

  4. Great game by the Oilers. Everyone on the team are doing their jobs. I don't remember seeing Skinner this locked in for quite a while. Keep it up, Oilers!!! 🇨🇦

  5. Honestly no one mentioned McD. He actually created a lot of chances for the team, no one could finish it. Maybe give him a faster winger next game.
