Really good article by Goldsmith of the Enquirer

one highlight – "They’re practicing forcing turnovers more than they did in previous seasons. [Logan] Wilson said, "The biggest thing is turnovers. Get the ball back as much as we can. Pretty much every day, in some form or fashion, we practice it."

  1. Just please be better than Germaine Pratt. Prioritized ripping the ball out instead of tackling.

  2. High risk. High reward. Could burn us bad but if we can get just one more turn over and offensive possession per game we would have won several more last year.

  3. Hate to say this but based on the article: new terminology, different focal points, defensive line calling their reads, new defense…Stewart needs to sign the protection waiver and practice. Also, I’m excited for the LBs.

  4. This sounds awesome. Taking opponents week to week, giving young players a chance. You would have to think Lous playbook for KC is on the table. LFG!

  5. Yeah, could definitely tell he was building this defense around the linebackers so not at all surprised to hear they’ll be the focal point. Excited for this defense but I do expect a slower start from them learning a new system and putting into play Week 1. I’m tempering expectations for sure.
