  1. There’s something bout this Wolves team and WCF Game 5s facing elimination

  2. Rudy did his best impression of Ant as a father. Totally checked out after that first minute.

  3. I still remember when Westbrook left and Thunder fans were in shambles. Now they’re going back to the NBA Finals and will probably win the title.

  4. OKC Thunder is actually going to the finals after 13 years. From KD, Russ, and Harden to SGA, Chet, and JDub, different era, same city, same hunger. What a monster story by Sam Presti. Them vs Pacers is going to be really interesting.

  5. Why does God hate Minnesota sports so much?

They don’t just lose. He always seems to twist the knife.

  6. I really hope all those nephews from the game 3 post game thread enjoyed this one tonight. Go win the title OKC

  7. Nickeil Alexander-Walker to be demoted from cousin to nephew after his performance tonight.

  8. Well, that was quick. Congratulations to the city of Oklahoma, well worth the wait.

  9. Congrats OKC

    First finals since 2012

Parity is great for the league

  10. [Benedetto] Tried to get Julius Randle in the locker room to see if he had made a decision on how dubious his handle will look next season. He looked at his watch and asked what I was wearing tomorrow. When I said I didn’t know, he said “exactly” and walked off. Timberwolves aren’t doing exit interviews.

  11. I’m so glad game 6 klay didn’t appear out of nowhere tonight

  12. So, it turns out that a team that beat a Warriors team without Steph and a Lakers team with… let’s call it negative defense… can’t beat the Thunder.

    Kinda obvious in hindsight tbh.

  13. Guess the people who were saying the Nuggets and Thunders series was the true WCF after game 1 ended up being right lol

  14. We are witnessing an all time great team. People doubted then all season long, turns they won 68 games because they are fucking good!!

  15. The composure and discipline OKC show game to game with SGAs leadership and incredibly even-keeled attitude is really something to behold. For a team to be this great while this young, man what a well balanced group defensively.

They haven’t performed well on the road, their offensive production has really struggled away besides last game so there is still room for improvement but SGA has been a great rock for them to rely on to be stable.

Very interested to see which team can impose their will on the pace if the Pacers get through, they love speed and chaos and Thunder thrive on upping the pace with their defensive pressure. I hope its a very high paced game like the ’80s were, that’d be very exciting. Nesmith, Nembhard and Mathrin better be ready to try and stay in front of SGA.

Chet also feels like he’s yet to have his breakout, he’s been a bit muted these last few series after a great 1st round. I really think he’s going to go off in the Finals.

  16. And for all the free throw merchant we heard all series. It only happened in game 1. They let both teams play with physicality and get away with a lot.

Shai straight up balled and baited very little after game 1.

3 years in a row where we are shown there’s level to this with Ant. Denver and Jokic knocked us out. Luka Magic knocked us out. And now MVP Shai. I have no doubt Ant will get there. But those guys are clearly ahead of him.

  17. Shout out to OKC. It’s a lot funner to watch a homegrown team have success then some super team put together. I’m sure they are excited and they play hella good ball.

  18. IF it’s Pacers Thunder, that is the best Finals outcome in terms of actual basketball. WILD to me how this is the only league that cares about a markets and narratives. NFL fans damn near PREFER “small market” matchup.

    Imagine Green Bay vs Buffalo.

Large amounts of NBA fans are not sports fans
