  27. So, not a Panthers fan, but the thing that I’ve gotta give props on is conditioning. Except for a couple of off periods, these guys haven’t slowed down at all. They are first to pucks, always skating toward the play, never waiting for it to come to them. While the dirty shit is definitely there (that takes energy too), this is the biggest difference I’ve seen between them and every team they’ve been up against. Other teams look ready for golf by comparison.

  31. When I was in Florida for the Pens second Stanley Cup, I had to bribe the bartender to put on the hockey finals and I overheard, “Hockey, who the hell’s watching hockey?” Back then Floridians thought ice was for drinks. Now, the Sunshine State rules the ice.

  34. I wonder at what point it stops being good for the sport of hockey. I can imagine the hype isnt in southern Florida this year like earlier after two previous finals. The world wont tune in to see them win again. There are other places that need some hockey hype, like Carolina.

    Maybe even Buttman is getting tired of Floridas dominance
