Spike: “I would give up an Academy Award. Oscar, for the Knicks to win a Championship.” Chuck: “Well you’re gonna keep ’em!”

  1. That’s prob the closest realistic thing to giving up a limb to an injured player.

  2. He gonna keep all of them. At least he was around for all their Championship wins!

  3. i dunno — i kinda wish it was Reggie that said that, instead of Chuck…

  4. This level of loyalty to a team is both crazy and commendable. I hope he sees Knicks win again (I’m assuming he saw them win in 1970 and 1973 since he was 13/16 at that time) in his lifetime.

  5. Bet he would only give away his honorary Oscar and not the one he won for screenplay.

  6. Spikes been at it for decades…spike deserves a knick champion more than the Knicks…

  7. It makes me happy to know that the basketball hall of fame has him in there as a superfan. It was way overdue.

  8. I have to think Lee would even entertain that thought because his lone professional in-competition Oscar was a consolation award for best adapted screenplay for BlacKkKLansman. If he won an Oscar for Do the Right Thing or Malcolm X, no way he’d say that.

  9. At the end of the day, Chuck is still that guy who said “take that shit off the windows” back in the day and it shines in moments like this 🤣

  10. Ladies & Gentlemen, I present the 2025 Hater’s ball award winner: Charles Barkley.

  11. I am so confused. I feel like I’ve heard ‘the last Inside the NBA’ episode so many times yet it’s still on. Which I’m thrilled about, but also very confused.

  12. Every time chuck talks shit on the knicks they win, I hope he never stops
