The original chart concept was from @/JFreshHockey on Twitter (https://x.com/jfreshhockey/status/1928284733382828314?s=46); I just added SV% and goals scored

He’s a semi final man. We have enough of a sample size
Oettinger got a 0.901 last year against Edmonton. Don’t know where I got the 0.895, oops.
Pete been edging fanbases since 2018
From the trend I see, Mr. DeBoer may be looking for another head coaching gig next year
Him and Dan Bylsma are two of the most overrated coach in the NHL!
“No one ever beats me in a game 7!!”- PDB probably
If Carolina fires Rod, Deboer would fit in nicely in Raleigh
Mr. Round 3
DeBoer watch: it’s been 16 hours and he still has a job.
I mean at least under the Stars it’s not like he’s losing to a bum team on a cinderella run
Could do a whole lot worse than losing in the conference finals every year, Dallas is a young team with a strong core they’re gonna break through eventually I’d run it back
Goalies have joined together to ruin this man’s coaching career.
Getting fired after reaching a conference final is crazy work.
The fact that the Sharks have not made playoffs since then has to be purely coincidental, right?
Those Vegas teams were so good and had 3 goalies who can win them games. He had no idea how to get them to score consistently.
Time to get a new coach
Pretty impressive
But don’t you dare let him get to a game 7.
Pretty large sample size
“We need a goddamn occasional save.”
it might be time to call Peter DeBoer the Marty Schottenheimer of the NHL
his credentials
0-2 in Stanley Cup Finals
after that hes now on a 0-6 Conference Finals run
OH BRUTALLLLLLL
So, great for edging but won’t get the job done, eh?
Dang I didn’t know he scored any goals in those playoff years. Thats pretty impressive for a coach
The Doc Rivers of Hockey
Fleury kept the knights in it in 2019 and then they just said, “see ya!”
Top 10 coach in the league who knows what he’s doing, but just can’t get over the hump. So odd
Fired
Imagine making the Conference Final six out of seven years and getting fired twice in that time.
Think of how much worse it would be if he hadn’t faced the Avs four times in that span
For what it’s worth, he wasn’t fired after the 2019 season and lost in the WCF
He was fired part way through the 19-20 season when the team tanked. He jumped to Vegas like the next week
Stars miss the playoffs next season then he gets fired if we follow the pattern
Wild that Otter cost the Sharks the cup in 2019
I did not care for him yanking Otter and throwing him under the bus like that. Scapegoat tactic to try and save his job, probably?
