  1. That one falls on Q, Royals had the momentum and ability to hit heading into the 8th. Terrible terrible decision.

  2. We didn’t win but it was a fight to the last out with one of the best teams in the league. And we scored more than 1 run. It’s a sign of life boys. October baseball is back on the menu.

  3. That makes Vinnie getting out with runners at second and third with one out really hurtful now

  4. Sucks that a pretty good offensive performance got undermined by pitching just failing this time around. Bats do feel like they are finally starting to heat up which is good, just gotta be better with RISP. Hoffman looked fine, shows promise.

Get em tmr, gotta pounce on Skubal like we always do

  5. Dissapointing? Sort of. But this didn’t feel like a loss that gives terrible vibes like those games VS the Reds. Still way too many issues with LOB but if our pitching was a bit more solid we likely would have gotten a win here. Of course, not saying pitching IS the issue as a whole. They kept it winnable, bats just couldn’t get past the deficit.

Onto Skubal. Let’s do the classic Royals funny and continue to hit off of him somehow.

  6. We just got bitched by Dirk Diggler.

We also did not Bryan the Tiggers.

    You hate to see it.

  7. Q been driving me crazy lately. He has absolutely no fire or passion and makes the dumbest decisions with the lineup and bullpen.

  8. Hindsight 20/20 but throwing Hoffman into a one run game on his MLB debut against the best team in baseball… makes you wonder.

  9. always cool to lose by 2 after a guy making his major league debut in a one run game gives up 2

  10. 1. Garcia 3B
    2. Witt Jr. SS
    3. Pasquantino 1B
    4. Caglianone RF
    5. Waters LF
    6. India DH
    7. Perez C
    8. Isbel CF
    9. Devanney 2B

  11. Gotta love seeing salvy swing at shit down and away…I love him but this has to be his last year.

  12. The umpires need to be investigated, even with our lack of good plays

  13. It sucks Lugo wasn’t ready, but the offense did enough to pick him up. Q should get all the blame for this one. He put way too much faith in a kid who had no business being in that situation. Left a lot of guys on base again, so we should have had more, but they did a lot better than usual. Try again tomorrow I guess

  14. It is so frustrating. Our offense finally scores more than 4 runs and our pitching falls apart. Go Royals.

  15. Royals are 81-81 in their last 162 games (going back to last May 30th)… at some point, either they have to improve or it’s possible they’ve been spinning their tires or worse for a year

  16. Good hitting Garcia 3 hits, Waters 2, India 2, and Isbel 2. Most of the pitching was bad and cost us the game. Witt a home run.

  17. Q is hurting us badly by playing Salvy too much and Playing Massey at all.

  18. Everyone except Witt is the problem.

Drew Waters’ batting avg. is now VERY close to Witt’s.

His clutch hitting is much better than Witt’s.

    Let that sink in.

Vinnie got on base three times yesteeday and somehow he is the issue, not the guy that constantly flies out/strikes out and has the lowest walk rate of any superstar I have ever seen.

But let’s celebrate his 6th one run homer in 60 games!
