But also, it’s not like it would prevent Darche from firing them.
I’m almost positive Darche will be firing them. If he was keeping them he wouldn’t have said “we are still evaluating the BPT management.” He would have just said “yeah we are keeping them.”

So obviously it makes sense to want CL gone but I feel like people put way to much stock in his role. Islanders draft the majority of the players, the Islanders okay BP roster players, the Islanders sign off on everything they do. He isn’t working independently there. He’s there to support the day to day operations of the Bridgeport team. He’s not making any organizational decisions without the Islanders GM’s final say. With Darche here now, Bridgeport will be run how Darche wants it to be ran. If Chris lamerello can keep the books properly it almost doesn’t matter if he’s still here now that Darche is here.
