He seems like he brings some of the skills a number hitter would require, doesn’t he? That one might have gotten out quicker than last night’s did. And it’s a one-run game. Three change ups in a row. The first one just missed. The second one he got a good swing and missing wise. He’s all over it. Very impressive. Count on Lucas. Up the middle and through. And two runs will come in to score. And the Blue Jays have the [Applause] lead. And he sends one to deep left field. And he has just hit his first major league home run. And he does it right here at home with so many family members and friends in attendance. And that one was hit a ton. [Applause] Denzel Clark wasted no time jumping on this first pitch. Looked like a fast ball. Middle in. Did he ever get the head out? That trade again any day of the week. The hits it hard deep. It’s [Music] [Applause] good. Number seven on the season for Bette. They have all come in the month of May and this game is tied. Bob Bashette struck out in his first atbat on a sinker down and in from Gunnar Hogland. And I was wondering this at bat if he’d be looking in there. A wild one so far as George Springer sends one high and deep to center is gone. [Music] [Applause] to the deepest part of the park and he cleared the wall by plenty and it is 6’5 Blue Jays. [Applause] George wasting no time. He gets a first pitch fast ball from Hogland and he’s all over it. Denzel Clark in center field just watched it sail. Maybe he is, but he looked to me like somebody that’s just reacting. Springer hits another one to deep center. His second home run of the [Music] game. Both times on the first pitch of the atbat to center field. [Applause] Rounded up the middle. Clemen step on the bag. Throw the to first double play. Now it’s up to Class A to get a pitch preferably up in the zone that he can get up in the air. That one gets through the catcher to the back stop and Clement will score the easy way. Eight to five. Ali Sanchez the batter. And a ground ball to third. Could be two. And it is. So the inning is over, but the Blue Jays add a run and now lead eight to five. Fast ball hit high and deep to center. Straw turns and watches it go. A two-run home run for Rooker. And it is 8-7. [Applause] his 13th of the season. Well, it’s a fast ball right out over the plate and Brooker is all over it. They got ahead with the slider but and it is caught by Clement up the middle to end the ball game. [Music]
