OKC’s defense reminded Isiah Thomas of his Detroit Pistons days!

Well, NBA legend Isaiah Thomas saw OKC’s trap on Anthony Edwards, and it instantly reminded him of how his bad boys Detroit Pistons roster used to torch Michael Jordan back in the day. Now, Thomas says OKC’s defensive scheme looks straight out of the Pistons Jordan rules playbook, forcing jump shots, clogging the lane, and completely breaking Edwards’s rhythm. He explained his take as he said, “What they are doing is they’re making him a jump shooter and off the screens. They’re double teaming him and this is what we did to Jordan who never played against Joe by himself. We always had three or four people in the lane and we made him a jump shooter.” And while Ant-Man struggled under the pressure, shooting below 40% and putting up just 19 points in game five, could his journey mirror Jordan’s early playoff pain before ultimate greatness? What do you think?
