Reid has his own $15 million option that many around the league expect last season's Sixth Man of the Year to decline.”
Wonder if it will be a sign and trade or the Wolves will keep him. Despite the bad playoffs respectively shooting for him, is 20 mil per season a reasonable benchmark for him?

In a surprise to no one
Makes sense, but I wonder how much money he lost with how underwhelming he was in the playoffs.
Paying Naz Reid & Gobert a combined 60m is nasty
spurs
Overpay incoming
No hate, just facts
Naz Reid looks a lot like Julius Randle these days.
7 footer who can shoot from time to time is a guaranteed 30m+
Naz will get 30 easy. The cap goes up each year people!
He’s one of those guys. Good player at the right price. If you’re paying him a lot, you aren’t winning
Get ready to learn Brooklynese buddy
I feel like he’s going to miami
Warrior
He could be starting center, and massive improvement over QP or Draymond playing Center.
Mfs talkin about 20, he’s getting 30 a year. Yall do know the max is 60 right?
Naz Reid
good, was surprised he didn’t do it last chance. I remember being pissed (out of jealousy) that he was re-signing for less than he could’ve gotten on the market last time
Considering how much I see Timberwolves fans spamming “Naz Reid”, coming off the bench he seems quite underpaid.
Hey Denver! Sign Naz and cut MPJ!
He’s only 25. I’d love to have him in Dallas but we can’t keep all the bigs we already have
Still tjink he’s better than what he showed this playoffs tbh
A team like Detroit would throw money at him
whats a trade with boston that works? we need a big!
Please come to the Warriors so you stop cooking the shit out of us every single time we see you…it’s like his special power is destroying Golden State.
That instagram dude keeping tabs
Even the Timberwolves have expected him to opt out this entire time, its why he took a 2 year deal when he had longer offers on the table. Question is gonna be how expensive he will get and if the Wolves can bring him back.
Everyone already knew this
Pistons need a permanent stretch big to pair with Duren in the Frontcourt for when Tobias is gone
I love Naz and I truly believe he wants to stay in MN but it’s gonna be really tough to re-sign him. He has an opportunity to get a massive bag and start somewhere else. I could definitely see him leaving.
$100 mil lol
wasn’t the point of moving Towns so they could keep Naz?
$25-30 million is probably what he’s going to get.
More like Naz freed, it should be interesting to see how much he is going to get
Yes, nothing like obvious insider info
Hartenstein got $29 mill average. I could see Reid getting more. But he has never played “starter” minutes and how many teams have that much cap?!?
Could be a tough market for him this year
Eh. I know it’s a money thing—but he’s adored in Minn. and I just don’t see him valued as much elsewhere.
But I get it-gotta make that paper.
Warriors should sign him
No kidding. Like why in the world wouldn’t he. He’d be losing so much money.
He took a pay cut for them last time. Now he wants to get paid.
Naz Reid, you are a Denver Nugget
Please my Kings don’t do it, New Orleans need some tank captains we can get Trey Murphy from em
Literally….who has money to spend besides Brooklyn this summer?
Naz is like a poor man’s KAT. And that’s true in every sense of his game. He is objectively a bit worse in pretty much every category. I like the guy, but he is not worth $30m a year. I hope a team is willing to give it to him though, he has busted his butt to get to where he is.
If Naz Reid isn’t jacking up long 3s what is he doing? He can’t defend, he doesn’t rebound, he’s an undersized 5, can’t guard his position or protect the rim, has a shaky handle.
