Hope everyone is doing well. We got the Minnesota Twins headed into Sacramento to play the A’s. I almost said the Oakland A’s, but they are just the A’s. Uh, and man, what happened to this A team? You know, I will say while I’m recording this, the A’s are actually up one to zero against the Blue Jays in the top of the fifth. So, they’re actually looking pretty damn good in that game. We’ll see if they hold on to that lead. But, uh, let’s be real, guys. I mean, it’s been it’s been a brutal going for this this athletic team. They’ve won one out of their last 10 games. Like I said, they do have a good shot of winning on on Sunday, but that game’s not finalized. And, you know, I I made the video on that Blue Jays A’s game, and I’m going to say a bunch of stuff that I said on that video. The problem with the A’s is has just been their pitching. Um, this team has just given up so many damn runs. Their starting pitchers have been pretty ass. Um, and their bullpen has just been horrific. You know, when you look at some of these defensive numbers for the A’s, they allow the second most runs per game to teams. They allow the most home runs to teams. They walk the most batters. Um, they allow the second most hits. I mean, these numbers are terrible. They rank in the bottom three in in almost every uh defensive category. So, that’s tough. Um, that’s tough. And it’s sad because, you know, this A’s team came out the gates hot. They look good. They look like, hey, the A’s may have a squad this season. Nah, it’s just not the case, man. I think the A’s are I think they’ll probably have moments throughout the season where they look good again, but that bullpin is just going to be their uh be the dep uh the death of them, unfortunately. So, in this game, I want to find a way to take the Twins. I do. I do. Um, you know, they got Joe Ryan on the mound who’s just been a stud this season. You he has one difficult start against the Braves, but other than that, he’s been damn good. He’s five and two with the sub3 RA. I think he should be able to wheel and deal in this one. And then I like that Twins bullpin much better. So, how are we going to fade the A’s here? I mean, my mind first goes to, yeah, we could just take the easy way out and and take a run line. I don’t love taking too many run lines in baseball, though. I I really don’t. Um, so my my mind first went to Twins run line or Twins team total over with Joe Ryan on the mount. I’m actually going to I’m comfortable taking the run line. I’m going to take the run line in this one. I think Joe Ryan is able to do enough to to limit the A’s. And I think, like I said, once Severino goes out, once this bullpin gets activated, I think it’s going to be on go for the Twins and they should probably run the score up. So, let’s not overthink it.
