Signed a 2 year contract…… anyway
Well that sucks, I thought he’d get more of a role this year, he had good flashes. But I don’t blame him if he spent a good chunk of time in the press box.

I’m not too surprised, but it isn’t the end of the world as truth be told I think Barron popped off hard post trade-deadline when they put him as the center. Though Kup is a very promising young player, and I hope he does well!
I don’t think you can be upset about losing a guy that averages 10 points on the 4th line. People look at his speed like they look at Stanley’s size. It’s useless if it doesn’t work with other parts of his game. Barron and Gus are both better 4C options and the goal is to find a 2C and get Vlad down to 4C anyways.
He’d rather play in Europe for half the money over another season or two on the 4th line or in the press box?
I guess it can get lonely over here away from home.
