What player is this?

  1. Shaq Barrett was just kind of farting around at the bottom of the Broncos roster then he came to the Bucs and went mondo fucking crazy on their Super Bowl run.

  2. Steve Young is probably the poster boy for this.

Joe Horn is another good choice. He didn’t do much in KC.

Cris Carter had it rough on the Eagles, but mostly due to off the field issues.

Brees comes to mind even though he didn’t end poorly with the Chargers. Just not nearly the same level as New Orleans.

  3. Maybe too early to say/call elite, but Baker? I thought he was good on the Browns, then he had a bunch of teams in 1-2 years and now he is balling out for the Bucs and got rewarded with a decently sized contract

  4. Easy

    Drew Brees

Yeah he was good in San Diego but he wasn’t Drew Fucking Brees yet

  5. QBs who leave the Jets in my time seem to immediately elevate their game and become a competent player at least. Same with Carolina

  6. Kind of a homer answer but Greg Olsen. He was good with the Bears, but he became the first tight end in history to post three consecutive 1000 yard seasons after joining the Panthers.

  7. There was this guy Tom Brady a few years ago who changed teams to the Bucs and won a Super Bowl in his first year! Odd I can’t remember what team he was on before

  8. Brett Favre originally got drafted to the ATL Falcons in 1991 as the 33rd pick and was just a 3rd string QB. Got traded to Green Bay the following year and on the 3rd game of the season, Don Majkowski got injured and Favre lead them to his first W of his career. He went on to have a pretty amazing career tbh.

  9. In 1976 Houston Oilers coach Bum Phillips told rookie Steve Largent they had all the receivers they needed and he would be released. Seattle traded an eighth round pick to the Oilers for Largent who achieved:

    First-team All-Pro (1985)

    4× Second-team All-Pro (1978, 1979, 1984, 1987)

    7× Pro Bowl (1978, 1979, 1981, 1984–1987)

    2× NFL receiving yards leader (1979, 1985)

  10. Wes Welker. He was a decent player on the Dolphins and then had the most productive seasons a receiver has ever had from the slot in New England

  11. I’m biased but Carlos “No Hands” Rogers suddenly became a perennial pro bowler in SF after leaving DC. But that was common in the shitstain era of Needle Dick Snyder
