  1. A lot of two strike homers here… scary that he's able to hit the ball 400+ feet when he's behind in the count. If he controls the count and gets ahead he'll go from being good to one of the best in the league

  2. I'm super excited to watch him play. The Royals need bats and they need them ASAP. Its kind of surprising he got called up before Roman Anthony, but I'm not complaining lol.

  3. The Royals will finally have a true elite homegrown power hitter for the first time since Bo Jackson…who btw was the last position player to be called up within a year of being drafted!

  4. Will he be playing outfield? Or is Vinnie going to DH and Cags play first? It kind of looks like Salvy may be running out of steam. Congrats to KC fans. This kid looks like the real deal.

  5. Him and Bobby are going to fun to watch for a good long while ❤. Being a Royals fan has been interesting this year because our pitching is just about the best in baseball and our hitting is just about the worst

  6. Desperation move.

For people who aren't following the Royals closely this year (who can blame you?) they have one of the most pathetic offenses ever seen in baseball.

The reason they are somehow over .500 is their pitching staff, which has been nothing short of amazing, especially Bubic who has been the best pitcher in baseball.

The Royals seriously struggle to score 1-2 runs/game and there have been plenty of games that their starters have gone 7 scoreless innings and they have still somehow managed to lose lol.

Even their big star Bobby Witt Jr. has been pretty terrible. He has like 6 homers and his average is well below .300 with a miserable walk rate.

Their only good offensive player has been Maikel Garcia, but he isn't a slugger either.

Caglianone is a great prospect but this is a complete desperation move by a team that is seeing there season slip away from them.
