  1. I don’t watch Suarez so I’m not sure how he is in the field. If he’s serviceable or better at 3B I think it makes a ton of sense.

  2. He strikes out a ton but has serious power. Lengthens the line up and could add protection. Not my ideal fit but not necessarily against it.

  3. Is Maikel a trade piece? I’d hope not, I’d rather he stay a Royal.

  4. Adding power makes the most sense. If we have a better chance of hitting a dinger or two on any given day then a lot of these 1-0 or 2-1 losses can flip to wins.

  5. My friend is a huge Red Sox fan, and all I’ve been hearing is all about how they would love to bring up their rookie but they have too many solid bats in their outfield already.

Seems to me we could use one of those bats here. They’re a bit desperate for infield help. Let’s make a deal.

  6. This pitching staff is unicorn for a small market team. There are absolutely no guarantees we have anything like this indefinitely. We don’t have a lot of capital at the minor league level, but if there is ANYTHING we can do to improve the offense, this is the year you do it. Because if we can just have an average offense, we’re easily a playoff team. If we happen into having even a slightly above average offense, we can think about the World Series (and I’m being completely serious).

  7. Sounds like the Royals. Trade for a 3rd baseman when Garcias our best/most consistent player so far.

  8. Suarez definitely would add another power threat and RBI threat, but he also strikes out a ton.

  9. He’d probably have to DH on the best fit but he can hit for power and extend the lineup
