Terrence Parsons Jr. GETS REAL on Micah Parsons’ “HOLDOUT” From Dallas Cowboys!
What is going on everybody? Welcome back to Attack on Cowboys. I am joined today by the brother of the player that is about to hold out. Not really. Not really. He not really about to hold out for real. For real. But we about to talk about Michael Parsons and his attendance at offseason workouts as we already have some of the Dallas Beat reporters writing articles that are just downright diabolical. Man, I’m joined today by the homie Terrence Parsons Jr. And Ray. What’s going on, fellas? How y’all doing today, man? What up, bro? How you doing? All right, bro. We ain’t gonna act like we ain’t been sitting here talking for like an hour and a half. Let’s cut it out. Let’s get right into the nitty-gritty right here. TP, man. What’s been going on, bro? You you you had a message that you wanted to send based off some foolishness we’ve been seeing. Based off some foolishness we’ve been seeing. So, I want to address the first thing first with Calvin Watkins and this report, right? Let’s go ahead and start with Calvin Watkins and kind of how he dressed this report up. Uh, let me go ahead and show that to you fellas over there and let make sure that everybody over here can see it as well. Calvin Watkins put out an article for dallas.com that says, “Missing Cowboys offseason workouts is not a good look for Michael Parsons and Trevon Diggs.” Now TP has already put out a response to said article and the response went something along the lines of this. So is letting one of the best players in the league play on a fifthyear option. TP, what is going on with Micah? What? Whatever you can tell us. You know what I’m saying? Without getting kicked out the house and stuff, bro. What’s going on with Mike? Kicked out the house is crazy. without not getting invited over for Thanksgiving. Brother, what’s going on, man? He really You talking about as far as a contract or Yeah, the hold out and he holding out. That’s what That’s what’s being written now, ain’t it? Ain’t they holding out? Ain’t no hold out, man. Ain’t no hold out. Um, you know, I mean, if it was a hold out, he would have said that it was a hold out. If it was a hold out, you know what I mean? He wouldn’t have been at no offse things whatsoever if it was a hold out. Um, nah, man. He He’s taking a Dak approach for the most part. You know what I’m saying? He going to be there. He want to be ready for the season. He understands what it’s like when you know what I’m saying, you miss training camp and you’re not ready for the season, how that opens you up for injury and things like that. He understand all that. Um Mike always been football first. Uh so will be there. Never going to not be there. Whether he practices is a totally up to him. Um, but from what he has said, how he worded it, it’s key. You know what I mean? Okay, let’s get right into that then. Let’s get right into a good segue. Let’s get into that. Let’s get into how he actually Let’s get into how he actually worded his response to just the questions about him not being at OTAAS and during offseason programs. He said, quote, “I will be there. I haven’t missed a mini camp in four years. Even though the contract is not done, I have teammates and the playbook. I’m preparing as if I will be on the field the first week of camp, but it’s in the owner’s hands. I’m ready to win a Super Bowl. Now, let’s understand that last part. Hey, that boy that went the PR training, man. I’m proud of Michael. First of all, can I just say this? I’m proud. TP, let’s cut off right here at the playbook. I’m preparing as if I will be on the field first week of camp. Okay. What you trying to get at? I mean, that shit’s right there plain as day. If if if if if if it was, you know what I mean? If if if it was for sure he was going to be on the field, that if wouldn’t have been there, right? And it was intentional. And I thought it was intentional as well, bro. For sure. Um I mean, and that’s fine. And at this point, I don’t think that anyone should be looking I don’t think anybody really is looking at this negotiation and trying to create a villain anymore. Outside of people that have just had their heels dug in, I think people kind of understand, bro, this is the nature of the beast. This is the nature of the business right now. Um the coaches, the ownership, everybody just talked about it. Stevens talked about it. Shotti’s talked about it. None of these guys have indicated that they have any issue with how Michael Parsons is going about his business right now. So, if the organization that’s signing his paychecks doesn’t have any issues with how Michael Parsons is going about his business right now, ain’t no way I’m about to get my black ass up here and act like I got an issue with how he’s going about his business. I’m just saying, bro. I’m just saying. Ray, what you got on that though? What you what you how you feeling about what Michael Parson said and how Calvin Watkins kind of packaged that article? Give me your thoughts on both of those things, man. Okay, first off, I think you know Calvin Watkins thing that was clickbait for for real for real. like let me get some people engaged with my with my post. That’s that’s first and foremost on that one. Um here’s what I think. Let me tell you my mindset where I think Micah is coming from. Micah has been expressing how much he wants to be a leader. Okay. He’s been expressing that and I think he’s been doing and making the right moves to be shown as a leader. So, who else is the other leader on this team? We’d have to say Dak Prescott. Correct. Dak didn’t hold out. Dak was there every day for everything, business as usual. I think Michael’s gonna follow in Dak’s footsteps. I think he’s like, “Okay, if I want to be perceived as a leader, yeah, I know I want to get paid, but I still want to make sure I don’t have any hiccups, you know, delaying me for being ready to be a full goal for the season because he knows, you know, they’re trying to win.” He said, “At the end of that sentence, I’m ready to win a Super Bowl.” So, to be able to win a Super Bowl, you got to become prepared and ready to go. You can’t be ramping up going into the season. You need to be already ramped up. And and by all means, by all means, Ray, I mean, Micah, you can tell the dude’s working. And he’s not even the one I’ve said this before. Micah ain’t even the one posting all these workout videos and stuff to his own platform. So, it’s not like he just trying to show us like, “Hey, look at me. I’m working out.” Like, he’s everywhere, bro. Anybody you see somebody working out, anywhere you see somebody working out, Micah there. Um, and and and we know just from talking to TP and some of these other guys, like just just the amount of work that Micah puts into it, you can tell by the way that his coaching staff is talking about his off-field activity. You can tell that they know the amount of work he’s putting into it cuz Shotti kind of alluded to that yesterday in his press conference. So, I’m not going I’m not concerned with Michael Parsons from a a physical fitness standpoint at all with this situation because I think physically he’s going to be where he needs to be physically. The question to me is going to be there’s a lot of new stuff going on. We know he’s going to be there. He said he will be at mini camp. So, he pretty much let us know he’s not holding out, but it does sound like he’s holding in. It does sound like he’s going to be present, but he’s not practicing. He not putting his body in harm way without some type of security already, you know. Yeah. Bank banked in right there. So, TP, is that kind of the vibe? Is that what we getting from that? Um, yeah. I think he gonna practice. He gonna practice at mini camp. Um, I think he gonna practice at mini camp. That’s more than I thought. So, that’s cool. It’s more of they got to training camp. Okay. Don’t expect me to practice at training camp when we got to put the pads on. Don’t expect me to practice at no training camp. He doing this smart though. Either way, he’s doing this extremely smart, bro. Because, and this is why I say this is very smart and this is showing a a level of maturity and it’s showing that that Micah is he he kind of he’s figuring this thing out. He’s still there for his guys, but he’s not going to miss out on no money. He not about to miss nothing that’s mandatory. Even if he not going to necessarily be a full participant, he gonna show his face. You know what I’m saying? So, he not about to in the pursuit of trying to get a bigger bag. I don’t think that Micah about to sacrifice getting a bag. He might pull he might pull a tour of Viola. How he did his hold out last his hold out quote unquote last season where he was at practice every day with the Dolphins, bro. He just wasn’t actually practicing. He was at training camp or wherever it was every day with the Dolphins and he just wasn’t actually practicing, bro. So, I can I can easily see Micah choosing that route, especially with I think that Micah understands how important it is for for him to be there during this this transition. This team is kind of undergoing a metamorphosis right now, right? It’s kind of like a caterpillar that went into a cocoon and you want to be there when when everybody’s coming out as a brand new butterfly. Bro, you don’t want to come late. See, also too, uh, go ahead. Yeah. See, al also too as well too, if you go look over the past couple of seasons for the Cowboys at training camp, we’ve had major contributors get hurt early on in training camp. Yeah. So, you don’t want to risk that. You don’t want to risk that. Was it last year it was Sam Williams? Yeah. You know, then the Cowboys had to try to Don Bland year before that was a couple years before that was it Trayvon Diggs. He got hurt at training camp. No, Trayvon Digs got hurt. That was like week two. Yeah, it was like week two. It was like early week two, but I can’t I can’t remember who it was. It was at practice though. He got hurt at practice. It was like It was like a walkthrough day or something too at that. It was like a light practice and into practice one uh they were doing one one one ones at uh end of practice. Yeah. So I think over Yeah. And we’ve we’ve over over the last I don’t know how many years there’s been a lot of times that there has been training camp we lost guys we thought going to be big contributors on this team early on to training camp injuries. Yeah. uh and and it kind of affected the season. I get that. I mean, if you don’t want to get out there and risk injuring yourself because you got to think also, Michael got hurt last year. Okay. And I’m pretty sure he did not like that and he never wants you wants that to happen again too. I don’t want to put myself in that type of jeopardy again and I’m not being paid. But but saying if it happens again and you haven’t secured your contract, then does that affect your money? Your value kind of goes down. Does it affect your So you got he has to be smart. And here’s the thing, y’all. Here’s the important part in all of this, y’all. The Cowboys have already handled the business that we would have wanted them to handle. Anyways, this offseason, they’ve handled that business, y’all. Outside of picking up a veteran or two off the scrap heat from June 1st cuts and stuff, you know, when they get into training camp, they bring in some veteran deep tackles and stuff like that because they going to do that. Um, outside of doing something like that, they have already done all their work. The reason that that that Dak and CD’s negotiations felt so urgent is because we understood that the Cowboys didn’t have any room to make improvement on his roster without getting that done first. Yeah, the the roster improvement is done. At this point, I think it’s just a hey, let these guys negotiate in peace. Let them do what they do behind closed doors because at the end, it’s not it’s not impacting us as fans anymore at this point. It’s not impacting us as fans. So, don’t get mad at either side. Don’t get mad at Micah for not being there or whatever measures that he has to take to make sure that his negotiations go the way that he feels they need to go. And don’t get mad at the Joneses for them feeling like they need to do what they need to do to try to get the best deal for the organization. So, you see what I’m saying? It’s two sides to No. No. It’s time to start getting mad at the Joneses right now. For what? No, I don’t think Go ahead. You can try to make us, but no. For what? It’s time to start getting mad, bro. It’s time. It’s time to start getting mad because you know what I mean? In the beginning, I was with I was with you because I knew they was trying to, you know, I mean, get the deal done. But from the moment that Micah told him that they got to go through the agent, radio silence. So, what did you what did you expect though? See, now we about to get into the weeds cuz what did you expect, bro? What did you What did you expect? What did you what did you expect when when guys have when guys have like this handshake deal type of situation or they were they like on the same page and then all of a sudden last minute you cut somebody in else in on it be like nah never mind don’t talk to me talk to them. He was already in it though. You know what I’m saying? Like he was like that’s what I’m saying. Like he was in it from the gun bus. Made sure he was in it from the gun bus. He just wasn’t present. You know what I’m saying? Like it was it was never a hint. That’s why Mike said cap on the handshake deal because it wasn’t never no handshake deal. It was a damn I really like that. But ain’t nothing popping until I talk to David. So if nothing’s popping until I talk to David, there ain’t no deal. You know what I’m saying? So it’s like from then once it was like, “Okay, well y’all coming out with these reports now. Well, look, we can’t do no more conversations now. Y’all got to talk to director.” Well, that ain’t got nothing to do with us though. That’s that’s Michael business. That’s Michael. No, no, no. I’m saying like, but from the moment they uh he’s supposed they supposed to get in contact with David. It’s just radio silent. Like no more efforts to be made is crazy. You supposed to be trying to get Yeah. Because the Cowboys doing business a certain way and they know what David Mullig are trying to get. The Cowboys the Cowboys have already Jerry has come out and said this. Jerry has come out and said this. A lose lose. No, listen. The Jerry has come out and said this, bro. The Cowboys have already gotten to a point, Michael Parsons, where they know the player is satisfied with what what they would have put on the table. They know that from a business perspective, they know who the person that they’re trying to do business with is satisfied or happy with the direction that they’re going with their business. They know that. Now, Mike is like, “No, let me let my agent handle this.” And they know what the agent is trying to do. The agent is trying to not look out for the Cowboys. As a not trying to look out for just Mike, he’s trying to look out for the entire business. He’s trying to look out for that entire industry, bro. And the Joneses, that’s that I’m not about to get mad at the Jones for them not playing ball with that. That’s what I’m saying. As a Cowboys fan, I’m not about to get mad at my team for not doing every any and everything agents want them to do. I’m not even pick up the phone. That’s how they do business, bro. That’s how they do business. And here’s why I And they probably trying to wait for TJ Watt, too, by the way. They probably trying to see what TJ White got. TJ White ain’t got nothing to do with Michael. To a degree he does. He does. To a degree he does. TP. If TJ White only gets 37 million or only gets 38 million, he gets less than than Miles, that is going to impact Michael Parson’s contract negotiations. Okay. Okay. All right. Listen, hold on, hold on. Let me tell you why it’s not. All right. So look, just in the in the eyes in the eyes of Micah’s agent, this is what’s holding the negotiations up. Okay? So if you look at if you look at Miles, how old is Miles? 30. Bingo. How old is TJ Watt? Like 28, 29. No, he 30. Okay. For 30. You know what I’m saying? So it’s like, okay, they’re 30. Okay, that’s fine, bro. AJ will get you five, six, five, six million extra. Miles, listen. But that’s what I’m saying. Miles Miles set the Miles reset the market at 40. Okay, cool. Mhm. You can’t tell me the Steelers want to up Miles when they’re the same age and they don’t even know if they’re going to get the same production and value out of that contract as they did the last one when they gave him record setting money. You know what I’m saying? And Micah in a different wave because like we just said, them other [ __ ] is 30. Mike is 26, but Mike has also been statistically less productive than them, too. Uh, definitely not. If we go look at their first five years. No, no, no, no, no, no. We’re talking about, we’re not talking about No, that’s not how teams do it, bro. That, you know, now TP, you know, that’s not how teams negotiate. Not that, you know, that’s not how they negotiate contracts, bro. That’s fan talk. That’s not hold up. Hold up. How they negotiate? We They can only go off. They’re going to they’re going to talk about what happened the last three four years, bro, in a vacuum. They’re not going to go back and be like, “Let’s look at Miles’s first three years and look compared to Micah’s.” They gonna look at who did the last three to four seasons, bro. They going to look at who did what over the last three to four seasons. That’s how teams do that, bro. They not about to go back and that’s that’s fan stuff for us to go back and try to compare careers. Hold on. Hold on. We don’t got to We don’t got to compare none of that. All we got to do is All we got to look at is Micah’s first four years. He’s what h how many uh what fifth all time fastest four years that’s cool that’s what we gota look at that’s cool his first four years that’s ahead of everybody that we’re just talking his first four okay his first four years is that but over the last four years he’s not that though compared to the rest of the league TP over the last four years Michael Parsons is like top I think he’s like number four or five in total sacks yeah with three all pros with three first team all pros and no defensive player of the year one of them guys that just got paid got a defensive player of the year. And I’m not saying this to be like against Michael, but I’m trying to keep it real, bro. Like, I’m trying to have a real conversation, bro. You know what I’m saying? I want Michael to get paid and stuff, but I’m trying to like keep keep it a real conversation of like what is he ba what is the pay getting based off of, bro? You know what I’m saying? The pay is getting based off of production. Production and age. Age factors into it. All of that. Age factors into it. But you’re not He’s not about to get five, six million extra per season just based off his age. He’s not. For sure. That’s what they push for. Here. Here’s what I want to do. I I want to run it back real quick and say why I disagree with you TP about why we shouldn’t be mad at the Jones and and you and you got to understand that Micah is willing to sacrifice on the years. That [ __ ] up it automatically anyway. He giving you more he giving you more time to play with the money that you gonna give him. I mean, so I’m tell Okay, I mean, that may be true, but I mean, bro, I just don’t think Mike is trying to make this Mike is trying to make this his last contract in Dallas. You know what I’m saying? His last contract of his career. You know what I’m saying? So, like, the way he’s playing the game is a little bit different from a CD and a Dak who only want four years and then in four years they want another contract. He playing the game a little different. You know what I’m saying? All right. So, he’s saying if I’m willing to work with you, you work with me. I respect that. I respect that. But I mean, hey, man. Hey, I’m not about to get mad. I guess my only point is I respect what you just said. My only point is I’m not about to get mad at the Joneses. At the end of the day, I don’t want to get I don’t want to get mad at them either, but I’m saying Yeah. I say at the end of the day, they did what they they start putting a pressure on them to pick up the No, let’s play devil’s advocate. Since since we went there, now we about to play devil’s advocate. Now we get into some good content right here. Now I’m gonna play chat comments. I cannot stress this enough, man. I am team Michael Parsons. I’m about to play devil’s advocate because I know there’s people that’s going to bring this point up. Right. So before we do that, no, no, no, no, no, no. Hold on. So, didn’t Micah say that if the Joneses took care of business, he would take a discount and stuff if they were able to go out and get some help? Did they go out and get help on on the offensive side of the ball? Somewhat on the defense, but he Micah want what Micah want and what they did two totally different things. I’m g be realistic. What did Micah want, bro? He wanted a superstar edge rusher teammate, bro. No, he wanted them to load up the defense somewhat. But no, the GM really really one specific position. He’s been asking for it for the last like two, three years. Yeah. What? Defensive tackle? Yes. He didn’t he get didn’t didn’t he ain’t he the one that got Mazi drafted in the first round? Um actually he just asked for a dackle. They just chose Mazi. You know what I’m saying? But um okay, they chose a defense tackle in the first round. But knowing that that’s a three-year investment. We know that already. That’s not that’s not instant results. Okay, here’s a devil advocate point real quick so Ray can make his point. Devil advocate point real quick, bro. The Joneses upheld their end of bargain based off of what they what Micah said before all this even started happening. Based off what Micah said he would be willing to do if the team did X, Y, and Z. The team by all measures, they might not have did exactly what it did. You know how God, he bless you. He might not give you what you want, but some He give you what you need, right? They gave the team what they needed. They gave their new head coach what they needed, bro. So, Michael, where’s your end of the bargain? Now you about to still play hard ball even though the team just had the most active off season in team history. Now you about to play hard ball. See, that’s the devil advocate argument. If we want to get into get mad at the Joneses, people can use that route to get mad at Micah. That’s why I say just let them negotiate in peace. Listen, we stay out of we stay out of All say is you play devil advocate. Now I got to put a little on it or I just got to put two cents on it real quick. Now we let go after this because he going he going to come knock on our door the agent for a reason. You got to let him do his job. Go ahead. Okay. Here’s why I’m going to disagree with you about, you know, being angry with the Jones’s family. Okay. Particularly this off seasonason, they moved way differently than they ever move. Okay? So, we can’t get mad at them yet for not getting the deal done. It’s going to get done eventually like last year. Eventually, Dak got done. CD got done, but the Cowboys didn’t do anything prior to get Noil’s done. Now, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Let me let me finish it. Let me take it on home. All right. this off seasonason. All right. They they they move differently, bro. How many trades we made this off seasonason? Well, it was like three or four trades we made this off seasonason. All right. They were active in free agency. Normally, they’re not active in free agency till weeks after free agency has already started. You got Micah some more help on the other side bringing Dante Fowler Jr. back. Someone who’s already familiar with how Michael works and how he plays. Okay. You went and got some linebackers via trade. signed a Jack Sanborn. Okay, we said we still need some help at corner. You drafted a [ __ ] first round talent in the third round at quarterback. You did also go get a trade for a quarterback that was in a wrong system who was already making noise here in that’s a lot of defense and stuff like that. Okay, you drafted a defensive tackle this draft, too. They’ve added help on a defensive side. Now you bring Solomon Thomas to the guy they picked up. Payton Turner, they brought in numbers at that position because they saw what happened last year when injuries occurred. TP, this has been the deepest linebacker room we’ve had. You over making these faces, bro. This has been the best linebacker room we’ve had in years, bro. Linebacker room, defensive. Listen, I’m not disagreeing. But here’s the thing, too. You can’t get mad at Dallas. You overselling it a little bit. No, he’s not. No, he’s not over. But I’mma get there. I’m going to get there. He’s not. Wait a moment. If you wait just one moment. If If you wait just one moment. Okay. And another reason why you can’t get mad at the Jones family is because one, Micah ain’t the only person that’s got to get paid on this team. You got another guy on the defensive side that has to get paid in Deon Bland. You got a lot of players that need to get as Jerry cut up the pie. We got to cut up this pie for a lot of players right now. We got Now we got Y and Shy TP. Yes. Yes. We they made I’m saying they are being active, bro. He said they none of my business. Active, right? None of my business. Yeah, I get I get what he’s saying. He’s the brother. But M ain’t the only person that got to get paid on this team. Yes, Micah is a big contributor on this team, but we’ve got to figure out how we can fit everybody that we need to fit on this roster. You’re not lying. You’re not wrong. Right. A lot of contractors. So to say that the deal isn’t done yet as a as is a reason to be mad at the Joneses this offseason. I can’t agree with that. No, no, no. I’m not. They never made any other moves. Like it’s ne it’s negotiations. So I’m never going to be mad that the deal’s not done. Well, we know how they negotiate. I’m mad that you not going to pick up the phone. So from that means that’s telling me you’re not going you not going to pick up the phone. You’re not even making no effort. This how TP feel, right? This how TP feel. Hold on. Yeah. I don’t appreciate you cuz you don’t pay nothing. I appreciate you. We start paying though. Then we get appreciation going on, right? There ain’t no appreciation. Yeah. Like bro, listen. Like for for what we for what we talked about at the beginning, right? What did CD have to do to get paid? Uh, he had to he probably didn’t have to hold out if we being real. If we being real, I don’t think CD had to hold out, bro. Man, he put the offense on his back. Also, he put the offense on his back and CD. Listen, hold on. How long? Hold on. When did they pay CD again? Wasn’t it like the like a week before the season started? Yeah. Yep. Week or two or something like that. How we know how we know they would have paid him quicker had he been the Listen, Dak. But see, they didn’t really like Dak though. And they was dealing with see the difference between see y’all got to quit comparing Micah and CD to what Dak had to go through cuz Dak had to deal with Jerry them dealing with separation anxiety having to get rid of Tony Romo bro that was a whole different situation TP for real. No seriously I’m not even joking right. No no no no no Jerry them love Tony bro. They did not believe in Dak like that. And Jerry them did not want to get rid of Tony for Dak. They did not want to do that bro. They did not want to do that. So, I think Dak had to overcome kind of not even being the owner’s handpicked guy cuz he was kind of just picked as a throwaway guy to be honest. In the fourth round, they just kind of picked him for depth, bro. They picked him as a They didn’t expect him to be the franchise QB. They didn’t believe in. We seen what he did on the field. They didn’t believe in Dak. They did not believe in Dak. I understand. They gave CD 88 from day one. They didn’t let him pick. They like, “No, you 88, bro.” That lets you know they planned on keeping CD his whole career. As soon as they gave him 88, they planned on keeping CD his whole career, bro. For real. That’s what they do to all they 88. They try to keep him their whole moment. From the moment we seen Dak’s rookie year, we should have been planning to keep him. No, cuz they still was trying to They still was trying to deal with the ghost of Tony Romo. Yeah, I [ __ ] the ghost. They even let No, they let Tony Romo play. I remember that season. They let Romo play the last game of the season. He had a really good half or something, bro. And people was like, “Damn, Tony ain’t done yet for like people really were like, nah, why are we moving on from that? Let Tony start in the playoffs.” People wanted Tony to start the playoffs. Then it became an economics thing. It became an economics. It became economics, bro. Yeah. It became economics because they like But they was like, “Dack is playing good here and he’s making what, like a tenth of the money, a fraction of the money that Romo cuz if y’all remember, if y’all really go back, they were trying to facilitate trades for Romo to get him somewhere. I think Houston was a team they were trying to trade him to, but they couldn’t get it worked out. And I think Romo was like, you know what? I’m just going to retire. Yeah, he I’m going to retire Cowboy. But they he Rom still wanted to play. Yeah, he wanted to play. That’s why he was so salty. We was calling Cowboys games at the half. Yeah, cuz Cowboys went on that winning streak and they was like, do we want quarterback switch? We can’t like they the Cowboys are fully invested in Micah. They’re fully invested in CD. You can even tell by how they’ve been moving just even how they’ve been moving on a social media standpoint, bro. Like they’ve really embraced Michael Parsons and the way he want to go about doing things. That little stream that they did, bro. They had never did stuff like that before, bro. Y that was that was because of Michael Parsons’s influence. Let’s be real, bro. That was Michael Par’s influence. That dude is going to get paid. We just all need to stay out of it. We need to keep all our feelings out of it. He gonna get paid. I know he’s going to get paid. He gonna get paid. And they gonna hit up his agent when they have to. They gonna probably have to run it to David at Oxnard or something and they be like, “All right, let’s talk.” Thing is, yeah, my guys shouldn’t have to miss practice to get paid, bro. I mean, that’s the business. It’s the nature of the business, bro. It just shouldn’t have to happen like that. It’s the nature of the business. It’s the n the NFL across the league do that, bro. It’s people across the league in the NFL doing that, bro. They’re not These ownership is never never going to give into the players. Like, even the Eagles had dudes that was disgruntled. Even the Eagles had disgruntled players on their roster. They won a Super Bowl last year. There was a dude they had linebackers and [ __ ] that was mad and all kind of about being disgruntled. You got to take care of your guys though. It’s not smart business. It’s not smart business. That’s not smart business, bro. It’s not smart business to acquies to whatever the agent want. Exactly. Whatever the player want. If your player wants to get paid right now and you pay him right now and then. Perfect example. Perfect example. Zeke. I’m use Zeke as a perfect example. They caved in to that [ __ ] I was like, “All right, [ __ ] I would have let him sit. let the [ __ ] hit, bro. Bro, if that dude had still had two years, he would have been eating up a bunch of fines if he would have sat. That would have been his loss. Like, [ __ ] you want to keep see ours, too. He still had two years, I think, left on that deal, bro. And they caved into him. What did they get? What did they But what did they get after that? Okay. What did they get after they caved into Zeke? They didn’t get their money’s worth for that contract. Let’s be 100%. Zeke’s new contract, they didn’t get their money’s worth on that contract. The line got worse though. Mah is Yes. Mah don’t give them money. I know that 100%. I just I’m just at a point, bro, where I just feel like it’s not really pertinent for us as fans with to be quite frank. It’s not pertinent for the organization. For real. For real. To get him paid cuz they still got a whole year of control over Micah. Yeah. As like they can tag him a couple years if they want to. Like Okay. And and then you’re going down a dark road. I mean, hey, you going down a dark road. It it shouldn’t it shouldn’t have to come down to none of that. And it and it won’t. It won’t. We’re not going to get into that conversation. It’s not. It’s not. That’s one of the best players on on your It’s not. But it’s a two-way street. Why isn’t David called the Joneses? Why isn’t David called the Joneses? Ain’t David trying to Ain’t David the one trying to get a check on Ain’t David the one trying to get a check from the Joneses, TP? Is he Is he or is he not the one that’s going to cash money at the bank when they get this deal done? What y’all say? Who’s cashing the check? What did y’all say? What did y’all say? What did y’all just now finished saying? What? What did y’all just now? He gonna get paid regardless. Who? David. Micah. No. Listen. No. Listen. No. Listen to what I’m saying. Listen to the point. We talk about why did the habit the Joneses called Micah already? TP. If you know somebody owed you money or a business or from from some work you did for somebody, are you waiting on them to call you or you going to call them when you know it’s time to get your money? Um, listen. Hold on. All right. So, you got No, answer that question first. Answer that question first. Answer it first. Answer it first. What? Are you calling first to get your money or you waiting on that that company to let you know, hey, it’s time for you to come up here and get this check? It all depends on the situation. Oh, hell no. I’m call depends on the situation. If I know I did some work, I don’t mind waiting on a little bit. If they tell No, if they tell me net 30, if they tell me net 30 on net on day 31, I’m calling they ass. You got me messed up. If they tell me you getting paid net 30, they give me a specific date, bro. If they tell me you getting paid net 30, day 31, I’m calling your ass. It is a specific date. You knew Michael Parsons was going to be up for negotiation this off season. So, I knew my payday was this off season. As an agent, I’m calling who I’m trying to get paid from. Hey, where we at? At least at least to see where we at. At least to see where we at. At least to see where the Cowboys offered. The agent said that’s not enough. So you waiting on another offer, right? If they if the agent already done said that’s not enough, pretty much set his terms, what are we talking about? What am I picking up the phone and call you for? Oh, I mean, well, I mean, the Cowboys Cowboys might feel the same way because we’ve already broke these numbers down. We’ve already talked about how if they if they want to get play that game, bro, that franchise tag does not fall in Michael’s favor right now. It does not. It don’t. But uh neither does um him missing time holding out like that’s what I’m trying to get across too. Like haven’t we learned already? Haven’t we learned already? Learned what? when our best players sit out and they don’t they slow out the gate, they don’t have the season they’re supposed to have. Well, we we we’ve had we’ve had plenty of offseasons where everybody been there and we still we still disappointed. So, I’m not even put I’m not putting no weight. I’m not putting no weight. We can still we still disappointed, but at the end of the day, we not starting slow. We either not starting slow and our best players are doing what the [ __ ] they supposed to do for the most part. They’re not just out there either getting hurt, not producing and things like that. Like we’re not about to act like CD was the CD he was supposed to be the first four weeks of the season. He wasn’t. Um Zack Martin sat out. He was never what he was before he sat out. Um I guess my problem with doing this, bro, is how do we know they wouldn’t have got paid at the same exact time had they showed up? Because that No, it ain’t no because that’s real life. What’s What’s their incentive? That’s how do we know? The Joneses have always kept and paid their stars. No, we can’t ignore history. The Joneses have always paid and kept their stars on their time. On their time. Exactly. So, what’s the point if So, what’s the point? Who cares? If they cares whose time on who cares, right? Whose time does it have to be on then? Whose time does it have to be on? Whose time does it have to be on? You say who cares? Whose time does it have to be on? The players are the ones who make the money, right? They’re the ones who make the money, right? Are is are the Cowboys Without the players, there’s no product. Are the Cowboys going to continue to make the same amount of money with or without Michael Parsons? Yes, they are. Yeah, for sure. Okay. Okay. Hey, he going to get his bag. It would be without the Cowboys. It wouldn’t be the same. It wouldn’t be the same bag if he didn’t play the Cowboys. No, it wouldn’t. Definitely. No, it wouldn’t. Definitely. No, it wouldn’t, bro. This price tag is price if M if Micah got trapped to the Cardinals, he would not have the same cash that he got right now. Cut it out, bro. Cut it out. His price tag is going to be his price tag. Nah, bro. M He wouldn’t even be having the same type of attention on him, bro. For real. For real. No, he wouldn’t have the same type of attention on him. TP, man. If his numbers are his numbers, He would be like, “No, he would be like Denil Hunter who’s had similar numbers and nobody talks about bro. Nobody talks about him.” How many first team all pros, bro? Denil Hunter had more sacks than Mike the last couple seasons. How many first team all pros? Cuz he’s a cowboy. You’re missing the point. No, it’s not just Yes, you are. You’re missing the point. That cowboy aspect helps. That cowboy aspect helps. But I’m gonna keep it a buck with you real quick. I’m I’m going to keep it a buck with you. And someone may say and who votes for All Pros Associated Press. I’m about to keep it a buck with you. And y’all may take this as controversial. I don’t give a [ __ ] Okay. There’s a reason why he’s top five all time and fastest first four years. There’s a reason. Hey, y’all can’t keep hanging on to that stat. Let me There’s a reason for that. I’m going to say something that may be controversial here. All right. To be honest, the Cowboys put Micah in a position to get the bag he’s about to get. Okay. Come on, man. If Demarcus Lawrence, if Demarcus Lawrence would have never got hurt, when would we would have known that Michael was a pass rusher like that? Let’s be Let’s keep it a buck real quick. How soon if we would have known that Micah could rush the passer the way he is if Demarcus Lawrence would have got injured or if we would had other injuries? Do your research. He would have been do your research. At training camp, they they was uh I say at training camp was already like, “Damn, that boy fast. He’s fast.” But they didn’t they wouldn’t put him in positions. How many positions prior to Marcus Lawrence injury? If anybody but what I’m saying is if anybody did their research they would have realized Michael was the number three DN in the country in high school. Okay. You know what I’m saying? Like but coming out of college that’s people looking at it different look at that differently because he got drafted to be a linebacker. Coming out of coming out of college they highlighted his pass rushing ability from the linebacker spot. He was going to be he if the co if they were talking about M. We’re not talking about We’re not saying the Cowboys made Michael the player he is. You’re missing the point. You’re missing the point. Listen, I’m not Michael would not have nearly the platform that he has if he wasn’t a cowboy. He wouldn’t have nearly the attention. Sure, I give you that. But what I’m going to say is his numbers speak for themselves. You know what I’m saying? Like the [ __ ] that he does on the football field, it speaks for itself. Yeah, it might not be as talked about, but just like a Fred Warner talent, he plays for the 49ers. He plays for the 49ers, but he don’t get talked about. He plays for the 49ers. Fred Warner get talked about more than he would because he played for the 49ers than he would if he played for anybody else. Yes, he does. Yes, he does. Huh? Aiden Hutchinson. Yeah, he don’t get talked about as much as he should. That’s But the You prove my point. Hudson is a perfect example. Max Crosby, Max Crosby is another example. But the numbers speak for themselves. So get first team all pros and all that. Right. Right. Right. Right. Right. But that but that but that Cowboy tax, does Dak Prescott get a $60 million contract without playing if he’s not playing for the Cowboys? Yes. No, I don’t think so. No. His his cash a wouldn’t have got his cash a wouldn’t have gotten high enough. His cash wouldn’t have gotten high enough. His cash wouldn’t have gotten high enough, bro. Exactly. What? Perfect example, Brock. His pro his profile wouldn’t have been high enough, TP. That’s part of it, bro. That’s part of it. MVP. We not We’re not about to act like he not He wasn’t coming off MVP runner up. If he wasn’t MVP runner up, he don’t get 60. What did Josh But didn’t Allen just sign for 55? Because Yeah. Okay. Let’s look at Brock B. He said he said ain’t no proper just signed for 55 less than that. Yeah. Any stud more when we can argue this he said he said I didn’t want to fight. He he said I didn’t want to fight for my money. Josh Allen said what’s the difference between 55 and 60 and said I’m going to leave it in my agent’s hands. If we argue this if we argue this and because Okay. And because he left it in his agent’s hand we can’t get mad at the Joneses for taking longer when the agent got 5 million more than anybody else in the league was trying to get. was trying to avoid that. They was trying to avoid that. Listen, but again, but the Cowboys put themselves in that predicament. You know what I’m saying? Like by not paying them earlier. Yeah. You know what I mean? It’d be different. You know what I mean? And it’d be like I like it’d be a lot different. You know what I mean? Cuz you would have had control over Debb Prescott. I put it like this. I put it like this. We get mad at the Joneses if they haven’t paid Michael by this upcoming off season. I’m not getting mad at him for the think has to sit out of practices and miss valuable practice time. That’s a decision because of a contract. No, that’s a conscious decision cuz Dak didn’t do it. No, cuz Dak didn’t do it that way. That we’ve seen guys We’ve seen guys do it the other way. Dak didn’t do it that way. And Dak had to pay for it. We said what? And Dak had to pay for it. Pay for how? How he had to pay for it? Leg. That wasn’t in [ __ ] practice. It don’t matter. Yes, it do. That wasn’t a training camp. He played on the He played He played in the season with no guarantee. He went out there and broke his leg, bro. What that to do though with anything though? He still got paid, bro. So that doesn’t that that argument goes that goes over there, bro. That makes no sense. He got the He got five He got the biggest contract in NFL history off of that. What we talking about? I guarantee you. And here, I ain’t going to knock Dak. I’m not knocking Dak at all. But if Brock Party would have been on the Cowboys and had the same success he had with the 49ers, he gain $60 million, too, for being on the Cowboys. Let’s keep it a buck. Let’s keep it a buck right now. Brock Party’s had more postseason success in a short span than Dak has better less money. We’re better teams and better coaching. Well, right now he ain’t got [ __ ] on that team on the 49ers. That’s Jones and guess look at it like a fan. The Jones is not going to look at it like with a better team and better coach. They’re not. The Joneses are not looking at it like that, bro. They They firmly believe they gave them dudes a good ass team. TP, they’re not going to look at it like that. I bet they I bet they not going to look at it like that. But I’m going to be the realist in this situation, man. We all being a realist. You speaking from the perspective of somebody that that’s that’s that’s clearly on the player side, bro. I’m saying no. I’m saying I’m saying I’m not going to risk one of my best players, especially over the history. I’m not gonna [ __ ] one of my best players sitting out of practices to get money that we’re going to give him anyway to open him up for injury or anything else that might happen in a season where there’s there could be real promise and high expectations. That’s also is that not is that not also a part of Michael’s decision though TP? Yeah. No, bro. Because how’s that not part of Michael’s decision? Oh, okay. So, listen. Listen, listen. Listen. Matt just negotiated the richest contract in NFL history last season. I’m sorry. I’m I’m sorry. I don’t I don’t care how people want to look at it. To be one of the best players in the league, a face of the league, to be on the fifth year option when I should be making 35 plus to have me play for 20 million plus is insane to me. [ __ ] that. [ __ ] that. With no future guarantees or no future job security. So now you’re making it sound like it’s all about the money at this point. No, it’s it’s about respect. It’s about respect. It’s about appreciation. That’s not a disrespect. Appreciation, bro. We we acting we acting like these dudes got to do stuff the same this way. And and the We act like the Joneses the Jones have always taken care of their star players. Why we acting like we deal with an organization that’s never taking care of their star players? That’s not about, bro. Yes, it is. That’s exactly what it’s about. So take take care of them when you supposed to take care of them. No, take care of them. How they always take care of them? When are you supposed to do that though? What? On time. On time. When they earned it. When they earned it. Oh, did he not earn it? Did he not earn it? So what’s the difference between now and two months from now? So you’re No, no, no. You’re saying someone if they earn it after their first year, they should get paid after their first year. Or they earned it their first year. They’re not even eligible. They’re not even eligible for year three. So that’s that’s They earned it. Okay. Exactly. What after year three? So what? After year three he dresses degresses. Okay. Year four he digresses. Earn the bag. You still earned it. You still earn the bag for the first three work. Oh my god. No bro. So okay. So listen. So you want to get paid. Hold on. Hold on. Talk about talking about that. Hold on. Hold on. In negotiations you get p you get done for past and future. That’s what you get paid for. No. You have a drop off. Say in you have you get paid for projections. You have two drop off. You get you get paid for what you’re projected to be for that team. You get paid for what you get. You’re getting paid for what you’re projected to be for that team. Already done. You’re not going to do this. You get paid for what you already done, too. The projection is based off of what you’ve already done. You don’t get paid for what you’ve already done. You get paid for the projection. The projection is based on what you’ve already done. But if you’ve already like like listen to what I’m saying, listen to what I’m saying. If you had two listen in that situation being a fourth round draft pick, not see not getting no real money for real up until you’re up for a contract, he earned every dollar he was supposed to get. For them to play with his money is a travesty. So for for him to for them to franchise for for them to not pay him, franchise tag him, him to go out there and break his leg like that, they paid him. They they paid him because he earned that bag and because they know that they [ __ ] up by not No, I agree. We’re not talking about that negotiation. We’re talking about last year. We’re talking about last year cuz that first negotiation was I told you that was some fugazi stuff with the Tony with the Tony Romo stuff, bro. That was some fugazi stuff. We that we agree. We all agree they should have paid earlier. We all agree. The first time they should have paid him early. last year they paid him when they paid him because they had cuz they had to give in because had he had played that game without a contract. Dak was going to be a unh unrestricted free agent and they were going to they also they also had they also had bent over the table back. Why did they Why did they take that long? No, let’s stop the [ __ ] Why did they take that long though? Because Because he wanted 60. No, he didn’t want 60 from the gut bus. He didn’t want 60 from the gumb. He wanted 60 after they said they wanted to rent leaves fall. Nah, bro. N y’all not about to convince me that. No. Absolutely not. I’m not going for that. That’s that’s that’s fan narrative. That’s fan narrative [ __ ] That is fan narrative [ __ ] That’s fan narrative [ __ ] bro. Let’s talk about it. Let’s talk about it because they had an agreement. That came out and said, “I don’t need 55.” The very next week, Jerry came out and said, “I want to watch leaves fall.” And then within two weeks we watched. No. Dak said I don’t need 60. No. D said I don’t need 60. D said I don’t need 60. He never said I don’t need 55. He said I don’t need 60. That’s I thought that’s what I said. He said I don’t need 60. He said I don’t need 60. And then the and then within two weeks they said we want to watch leaves fall. And we watched everybody who get 55. That was for receiver. No. When he was talking about the leads falling talking about receiver. Hold on. We’re missing the point then. No, no, no, no, no, no. We’re missing the point. We’re missing the point. Hold on. Time out, everybody. We’re missing the point then. You’re right, TP. You’re absolutely right. The Joneses did end up having to pay Dak more than they had to pay him originally. So, why the [ __ ] is Michael Parsons mad? Let me Let him wait then. Let him wait. Let him wait. He’ll get more money. He’ll get more money. He’ll get more money. Let him wait. Let him wait to do that. Let’s [ __ ] He don’t want to do that. Let him wait. Let him wait. He’ll get more money. TP. He don’t want to do that. He’ll get more money. He don’t want to do that. What we What we talking about? What we talking about? We talking about get We talking about get the player taken care of, right? He going to get more money if he wait, right? He don’t want He don’t want to wait. Oh, see that’s what you’re saying. So that’s what he what he want. He wants to get paid. what he want to do right now. No, no, it’s No, it’s No, it’s a simple, bro. Who Who does waiting [ __ ] What? Who does like what does waiting [ __ ] It [ __ ] the Cowboys. It don’t [ __ ] Micah. It [ __ ] the Cowboys, right? So why does it matter? So why does it matter? You want to win too? No, they already did what they was going to do. Regardless, they got their money ear tapped for TP. Regardless of what they do, regardless if he gets 5 billion more or less, they are going to still open up cash space when they sign him. Regardless, his contract he signed has bears no weight on what they will be able to financially do, bro. It bears no weight. It bears no weight. Regardless of how much it is when he signs is going to help them regardless, bro. This year, that’s for this year and this year only. Well, all I got to say is last year you you brought up last year, okay, the Joneses and Dak Prescott both agreed. Okay, we want to get a deal done before this particular date. After this date, we’re going to shut the negotiations down. They paid him at at the How he got me arguing against Micah? I’m on his side. How’d I end up on his side? Because you trying to you trying to um you trying to be too much with the front office, bro. I’m not trying to be with them. I said I don’t want to be mad at nobody. I said I don’t want to be mad at nobody. When you when you when you look at how Philly operate, bro, when you look at how [ __ ] Philly, TP, listen. No, it’s not about that. It’s not about that, bro. [ __ ] It is. [ __ ] Philly. It’s always [ __ ] They just tried. They just have to train Bryce Huff cuz they don’t get it all right either. Time out. Talk about talking about No, it’s not about that. I’m not They don’t get it all right either. Yeah. Nobody going to get it all right. But when a team But when a team lays out a blueprint on how to cheat the cap and we’re not we’re not following suit, that’s a problem. [Music] Well, go play for Philly. Go play for the Eagles then. Micah, you can say what you want to say. Go play for the Eagles then. If y’all admire what the Eagles are doing as a n if y’all admire the Eagles so much, y’all need to be with the Eagles. [ __ ] it, bro. We don’t do business compare the organizations. Don’t do business like them. You can’t You can’t compare the organizations. It’s not about comparing. It’s not about comparing. You just compared it, bro. No, I just compared it, bro. I said I said when a team puts a blueprint out there, a blueprint. So, how did how how is Philly able to create a team that they were able to create? That blueprint able to create the blueprint would create that blueprint can be applied to Dallas because we are a different market. We have a bigger more attention. Even if Philly [ __ ] just won a Super Bowl, there’s more attention on Dallas. What we’ve done in the offseason there is on Philly. And so the blueprint to Dallas cuz everybody know there’s a bigger bag in Dallas anywhere. I’m missing a point. Y’all missing a point. No, I’m missing a point. Y’all missing a whole point. Y’all missing a whole point. This show is supposed to be 10 12 minutes. The the blueprint though, the blueprint that F put out there is when you pay your guys early and have more control over how you can place that money over them years, you can create a lot more catch space to go get the guys that you need to win a [ __ ] bowl. That’s the point that I’m trying to put. So instead of having guys wait for their money because you want to pay guys on your time and pay more money, the money that you’re going to pay regardless, pay them guys early to give yourself more control over these guys and future negotiations. That’s what you can say. You can say you can say whatever you want to say. We don’t know how that’s going to go. Listen listen. We don’t know that’s how that would go. Hold up. Hold on. Hold on. Always bigger in Dallas. So you get paid in league when they get paid. It’s not all that logic don’t apply to all. That logic that that logic applies to your star players, your [ __ ] the guys you know that is going to be that. So the guys that you know in Dallas, you get them. You get them. Hold up. They going to get guys going to get big bags anywhere as long as you earn. You’re going to get a big bag anywhere. Can I just say this? We going to end it. We going to end this. It’s just better when you take care of your guys early, bro. You don’t have them holding out. You don’t have them willing to miss practice time to receive the money that they need. Bro, I don’t I don’t I hate when y’all making it seem like I hate y’all act like they getting forced to do something cuz that got 60 million and he was in practice every damn day. So, quit acting like they got to hold out. Quit act like they got to miss this practice. Yeah. Hold up. Hold up. But you’re not but you’re missing the point of they went to the last day because they didn’t have no choice but to pay the man. They were in a lose lose. We don’t pay him. We still owe him 40 million and he goes play for another team. Oh, we got to pay him more than 60 if he hits the open market. Then he was in a lose-lose situation. So are you saying so are you saying that if they were not in a situation where they were forced to pay back? Listen. Okay. You You about to prove my point for me. You about to prove my point for me. So, are you saying that if they were not in a situation where they were forced to pay Dak, right? That they probably wouldn’t have paid Dak had he handled it the way he did. Is that what you’re trying to say? If he showed up to practice every day, training camp every day, did what he’s supposed to do like he did? You don’t think they would have paid him unless they if they weren’t forced to, right? If they didn’t have all that debt money and if they if they if he wasn’t a restricted unrestricted free agent, you don’t think that they would have paid him? They would have paid him. I think they would have paid him regardless. So, what’s the point of this argument then if we just said that? That’s what I’m saying. What? It shouldn’t have came down to all of that. Why does it matter? It shouldn’t have came down. It doesn’t matter. See, Dak Dak can go to See, look. Dak can go to practice every day and not get touched and avoid injury. Michael can’t do that. I mean, that’s a good point. I mean, that’s a good point. But guess what? That [ __ ] still could take his ass to practice. That’s not He not being forced to not go to practice cuz at the end of the day, that [ __ ] still is under contract. No, he’s still under contract for another year. Let’s Now, let’s keep it low. No, hold on, bro. Cuz now we doing some 2025. We doing some 2020. No, he got option next year. He got option next year. So this is this No, this is 2025 stuff right here. This the fifth year option right here. This Okay, this is 2025 stuff right here. This is a 2020 Hold on. No, it’s not. Hold up. Yeah, this is the fifth year option year right here. Hold up. This is the fifth year option year. Oh yeah. After this is franchise tags. But but and they still can do that. Why would you want to do that? Why you want to alienate your best player? They can still do that. Why you want to alienate your best player? You just So you just said exactly why that you know he’s going to get paid this off season whether he No, you just said why he’s going to show up. TP TP. Hold on. Hold on. I’m going let you I’mma let you listen. Hold up. You’re not listening to what I told you. If I’m telling you Mike is trying to concede on the years, make it his last contract in Dallas. So yes, he wants to get paid now. He doesn’t want to get paid next season where Dallas ain’t trying to do that though. They clearly ain’t trying to do it. Listen listen now. Listen, listen. Now, listen. He wants to win. So again, he’s trying to concede on the years. He wants to make this his last contract in Dallas. He wants to concede on the years. Give y’all all the time in the world to play with the money. Now, if y’all wait a year, now you’re cutting into my plans. Now, I can’t be as flexible with the years. No, cut it out. Cut it out. You just No. No. You just kill. Is this his fifth year option year? Hold on. Is this his fifth year option year right now? Yes. So, he’s a free agent. this next season, right? Restricted. Is he a free agent next season? If this was his fifth year option year, that means he will be a free a No, it means he will be unrestricted free agent. If this was his fifth year option year, that means that next year he would be unrestricted free agent, bro. No, he’ll be he’ll be restricted because you got the franchise tag. No, they have they would have to use it first. They have to use it. No, that has to be done before free agency starts. That that has to be done before the league year. That’s what I’m saying. They have a date to use it and then he’ll be undrafted. Yeah. It’s like March 10th. It’s like March 10th. It’s like a day or two before the league year. You have to use the franchise tag or he’s unrestricted free agent. Unrestricted. Yeah. Yeah. He’s going to be unrestricted free agent next year, right? If they don’t use the franchise tag. No. Listen. Exactly. They’re not going to let Micah go to the market to go to a bidding war with nobody, bro. So, what are you saying? So, he’s going to get paid this off season regardless if he holds out or not. That’s the point. Cuz they’re going to be forced to, dog. They going to be forced to. They are forced to pay him cuz they can’t afford to let him leave next season, dude. So, they got to this season again. But you’re [ __ ] up everything that he’s trying to do to help the team, man. [ __ ] it up. Come on. How’s that not the GM? Mike is not the GM. Listen, listen. Not the deal. [ __ ] that. [ __ ] with that. [ __ ] with that. [ __ ] with that. I’m 20. I’m I’m only I’m I’m only looking to play about five, maybe six more years. So, if I’m willing to give you a contract for five to six years and give you the time and flexibility to work with that money over five to six years, move that money around, be able to create the cash space that you need to build the team around me. Cool. Now, vice versa. If you wait a year, now I’m not going to wait a year. That’s the point. Listen, they’re not going to wait a year, bro. If you wait if you wait the next off season, they’re not. They can’t TP. They’re not doing that. They can’t. They’re not. They can’t. The Cowboys never do that. They never let their star players get to a point where they can either be tagged like that or be unrestricted free agents. They’re not. Bro, why again? They’re not. Why again? Did Did Daw not get franchise tag twice? Bro, Daw is not Bro, Daw is not a Dak. He’s not a Micah. He’s not a dance. He’s not those type of player at the time. Okay. But he wasn’t those type of guys. Yes. Below wasn’t a Was Daw best in the league? Was he a top three in the league? No. No. No. But I’m pretty sure those dudes are I’m pretty sure he had like 13 and a half sacks. It don’t matter. Like 15 [ __ ] every year get that. 15 [ __ ] every year get that. That’s That’s like Mike’s best season. Daw didn’t do that. Daw didn’t produce till like his contract was about to be up. Exactly. First three year in the leagues. Daw didn’t produce. He wasn’t that good his first three years producing until like that last year of his deal cuz he was a second round pick. So four years on his deal. Okay. So let me compare Daw to Micah Di Dez. None of them. You can’t compare with how they handle DAW is a second tier star. He is not a top tier. No TP. Daw is a second tier star. If we talking about if we talking about what history has shown us, history has shown us that they pay their stars. That they have never lost a star. That they’ve never lost a star. They’ve never No. Whether they sit out or not, they’ve never lost a star. They’ve never lost a star. They’ve never lost a star, man. Whether they sit out or not, they’ve never lost a star. But what? That’s most players. That’s most places. No, it’s not. What places sit down and really let out? There’s a reason. There’s a reason Dallas is known for that. There’s a reason Jerry is known for that. What What What franchises really let star players walk right out the door? Bro, we see them. A lot of them walk right out the door. Star players. A lot of them walk right out the door. Yes. What? Who? What? Who? We just seen Tennessee do it. We just seen the Eagles do it. We done seen the Giants do it. We done seen them commanders do it. We done seen a lot of teams do it. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold up. We not about to act like we we didn’t understand why the Giants didn’t do it. So So Odell didn’t leave. They traded him. Why? The Cowboys don’t The Cowboys don’t get rid of stars. That’s the point. Whether it’s whether it’s via trade, whether it’s via trade or free agency, they don’t get rid of their stars. Oh, Dale wanted to get out. The Vikings. I can name several teams, bro. Vikings, Saints, Packers, Packers, Packers, Packers, Packers, Bears, Bears. All right, bro. Now you act like you don’t know football. Lions. Packers. Are you about to say Aaron Rogers? Aaron Rogers, Brett Fars, Klay Matthews, Am So many of their [ __ ] players, bro. So many of the Packers players, they let go, bro. But Brett was on the down side of his career. and Aaron Rogers. There he had they let the light-skinned dude, the light-skinned tight end that they had that was a [ __ ] dog that was playing with Aaron Rogers. They let Jimmy uh Jimmy, what’s his name? Jimmy. Yep. They let Jimmy Graham ass cuz he wasn’t nothing really special for real. Namie Graham went to Green Bay after all. Oh, he went he went to Green Bay after the Saints. He started off with the Saints. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was his later years. Matter of fact, Jimmy Graham went to Yeah. That just prove a point though. Teams let stars leave all the time, bro. Not not superstars. Not superstars. Franchise players, not Didn’t the Kansas City Chiefs get rid of a Allp Pro corner like a season ago? Didn’t they just get rid of a All Pro corner a season ago? Not let him walk out the door. Well, they still getting rid of them. No, now you playing semantics. You’re getting something value. Now you playing semantics. So now what situation you just said is they either going to sign Michael Parsons or trade him. They not going to let him leave. Of course. Okay. Okay. So he’s not the GM. So let them do handle their business the way they want to handle it. He don’t got to he don’t got to be the GM to understand the business. No, he just need to do what he need he just need to be a player. He just need to handle his responsibility on the field. So for instance Mah can’t be the G coach and everything else. If they if they wait till if they wait till next season. If they wait till next season and now somebody somebody gets 45 and now Mike M and Mike and now Micah’s agent is like okay but hold on. Well they’re not just say that. Just I’m just saying for instance for instance somebody gets 45 a non quarterback is 45 a million 45 million a year. Now, the Cowboys went from an instance where they could assign Micah for 45 million a year over five, six years to where now Micah wants 50 over four. That’s a whole different bracket. He ain’t getting it. He ain’t getting it. I don’t think he’s going to change his years as if he No, he’s going to Listen, I’m telling you right now, he’s going to change his years because And if he can be vindictive, so can the Cowboys. If he can do that, if he can play that kind of game, so can the Cowboys. And I’m not gonna get mad at my organization for doing that. [ __ ] that, bro. [ __ ] that. Playing games. Let the Cowboys do what the [ __ ] they want to do. This ain’t the Dallas Mas. This is not the Dallas Mas, man. He’s a player. He’s a player. He can’t get mad cuz the GM is bad at their job. Let him be bad at their job. He get paid more. Who cares? Who cares? [ __ ] want to win. Who cares? So go out there and ball like he should then. 5 million a year shouldn’t 5 million a year shouldn’t be the difference in winning. 5 million a year shouldn’t be the difference in winning. Exactly. So 5 million a year shouldn’t be a difference between a hold up and a contract negotiation. Yeah. No. Okay. It works both ways. It’s not a hold up and it shouldn’t be the difference in winning. So you can’t use it when it benefits you, bro. No, it isn’t. It works both ways. It shouldn’t be a hold up and it should be a reason. The cap the cap hits different. And at 5 million the cap different now. Okay. Now is it not? 5 million is 5 million is 5 million TP. But the cap 5 million is 5 million is 5 million. Unless you start No. No. No, it doesn’t. $5 million is $5 million on your paycheck, but not on the cap here. No, [ __ ] Five. Unless they start restructuring and tri and and trigger bonuses and do do [ __ ] differently. 5 million is $5 million in these negotiations, bro. Not in terms of the cap hit though. If it’s restructured, it’s depending on how it’s structured. That depends on how it’s structured. that there’s only so much you can do, bro. The cap hit is gonna be the cap hit. Five million is gonna be five million in terms of whether they have five million less in cap or 5 million more in cap, bro. It’s going to be 5 million. No, it’s not. I feel like we were talking about this for like an hour and a half now. We have time to wrap this thing on up and let’s uh let’s take this thing on home now and get on with it, man. Y’all be sure to check out the hobie TP and Ray Ray’s Cowboys, man. Hey. Hey, man. We about to throw hands up in this [ __ ] Y’all be Yeah. It’s just I just don’t want our best players to miss practice time over That’s their decision. And I want And I don’t want us as fans to act like that’s not their [ __ ] decision cuz it is. That showed us it is. I’m not just talking on my ass. Dak showed us Dak showed us it’s their decisions. It’s different for quarterbacks. Dak showed us it’s their decision. That’s I’m just saying this is different for quarterbacks. They don’t got to get touched, you know. They not out there putting no real hold out. Did Dy hold out? It’s just different. Did Dy hold out? Diggs took a contract where he didn’t have to fight for no money. Oh, okay. Sounds like what Michael said he was going to do if if the Cowboys handed their business in the offseason, huh? See y’all next time. See y’all next time. How about them cowboys, man? Calling me, texting me, paging me, asking me, “Am I still?” Y’all use the check on me. Listen, listen, listen, listen. I’m [Music] still Hey, I’m still them boys. Uh-huh.

Dak still being the highest paid player after another offseason pretty much tells you how mad the jones are for losing on that deal and taking it out on micha.
Im with TP the Jones lame asf
Micah wants to be a live time Cowboy and I love it for real 💙💙💙💙💙💙
Micah gonna get signed they doing this for media plus signing him helps us out we know Dallas did it last year I had no doubt that Dak and Ceedee were getting paid. Wish they would hurry up though so we can see who else we can bring in
All of these agents know the jones will fold. I hope the jones put their foot down on these agents always using the cowboys as their feather on their cap.
Good evening honey, TP is acting like there broke as hell already,😂😂WTF, I’m sorry I just had to say that😂!

Whoever came up with pressures is a gyat dayum IDIOT… Pressures are ALMOSTS….which only matter in hand grenades and horseshoes…. Football either you got home or not….this man has 3……THREE career December sacks…..his sacks are hollow….never had more than 55 tackles 3 tackles a game??? WTF??! LT once had 16 sacks and 126 tackles…..WTH are we talking bout?? He is not getting a new deal this year follow the trends of JJ and Stephen….EARN YOUR BREAD homie!
Only Dallas does that with their players philly pays their stars
Why TP turn that direction!!!
It was Randy Gregory and Dallas didn't know he could pass rush lmao
Hell yeah Ray! U finding your pocket now💯 salute AOC🫡

Lawd have mercy, TP is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
SYBAU don't be mad at the Jones's yawl need to stop. TP was cooking we finally getting some insight on what's taking so long. Micah asking for more years prove he willing to work something
