The Celtics are not seemingly not taking calls, not interested in trading Derek White, which tells me a they like him. Obviously, it’s not that he is untouchable, it’s that they’re not in the the the mindset to trade him. We’ve said this before, Tom. D white is a perfect piece to put with the jays. If you have to move holliday he's your starting point. Of course they are not considering trade talks with him..
I don't agree that they would be open to trade D White based on just the upcoming season. He's our third best player and among the most important. He's also on a fair salary and locked down for years of his prime. They're not trading him.
Brad still thinks this team can compete even without JT. I think the C’s end up moving Hauser and Jrue. Keep KP and maybe extend him at a lower price. Nobody in the East scares me.
