The starters have an ERA of 5.49 and the relievers 6.28. But the relievers’ record is 9-11. At this rate the A’s may give up 1000 runs, an historic achievement. They were 20-16 and now 23-40 a 3-24 streak. All we can do is watch in dismay. Or maybe not watch.

This is to be expected when you have a AAAA team playing major league teams.
I’m pretty sure they are tanking with how the pitching has been handled the last 20+ games. Also playing scrubs like Avans and Alexander who werent even really deserving of a call up.
The coliseum is still available for next season. It doesn’t have to be this painful. Just saying. 🤷🏻♂️
“Through May 13, the A’s ‘pen ranked 27th in the majors with a 5.04 ERA and 24th with a .750 opponents’ OPS — not good. But their numbers in the 19 games before the past two were astonishingly bad. An ERA of 8.19 (Colorado was next worst at 5.27). An opponents’ OPS of .966 (Colorado was next worst at .852).”
Holy shit.
No one can blame fans in Oakland or the Coliseum anymore. Fuck ‘em.
With all the BS surrounding the A’s, I hate that Kotsay has this on his resume. I think he’s a great manager that could actually thrive if he had a structured foundation.
Vegas must be clamoring for this team lol
It is gut wrenching to watch a franchise implode that is so rooted in the history of the American League… due to the greed and incompetence of their ownership
FJF an absolute tool
But…most of this is on MLB, Selig & Manfred. They voted for & willed this to happen. MLB failed this franchise, fans & baseball to the enth degree. Shameful

> Severino’s ERA is 6.99 at home, 0.87 on the road.
That’s fucking crazy
Kotsay will probably fired. FJF needs a scapegoat. Always someone else’s fault. Gee, that sounds like a certain orange turd that continues to dominate every news cycle!
The NHL had a similar situation where the Arizona Coyote moved to a 5000 seats college arena, but the league forced a sale because it was very embarrassing for a major league sports to be in that situation. I am surprised that the league and other owners are OK with this. I used to live in Toronto and remembered all the great A’s/Jays rivalry and trades between the two clubs. Now I am in Alameda county and I think the Raiders’ bonds will finally be paid off by us this year.
