29. That is really amazing. And I imagine this is the speed that McDavid actually plays at. He’s a freak alien, or he sold his soul to the devil or it an actual god who just loves hockey and came down to dominate. He looks like he is able to slow time down to the speed and then react the way he does. And that is why he is so fast and unique when we see it in real time.

42. That slew foot. Man of course it wasn’t called. It wasn’t obvious enough.

43. Nuge knew the play before he even got the puck back. As soon as Jones started moving towards him, he knew he was walking up toward the blue line to create space and dumping it to Perry.

    That was the straw that stirred the drink for the goal. Awesome play!

44. McDavid’s pass over Ekblad’s stick on to the tape of Draisaitl was ridiculous.

45. The Perry pass caught my eye, but this angle in slow motion shows such incredible work by RNH. He gets a shit pass in his skates from Bouchard, gives enough bad info to draw out Seth Jones, and banks the pass to Perry off the boards so that he can catch it cleanly and doesn’t have to dig it off the boards.

    Such a great little play that doesn’t show up on any scoresheet.
