  1. I’m surprised that for the draft you didn’t go for Brea – idk why he’s so low on ppls big boards, seems like a can’t miss Sam Hauser type of player who is just going to be a good bench shooter for a long time in the NBA.

That being said, I know I’m a pistons fan because I’m addicted to hyper athletic defensive wings that can’t shoot, get me theiro😅actually think pate wouldn’t be a bad pick, interesting pairing with sasser imo, think they cover each others weaknesses well

  2. Tobias Harris was getting clowned so hard when the Pistons signed him last year, and now he's looking very solid.
Are there any guys around the league you see taking similar jumps like that next year if a team signs/trades for them?

  3. I think they should be on the lookout for and overpaid 4. If they can bring an MPJ, Jabari Smith, Naz Reid, Jaren Jackson Jr, Lauri Markennan, Cam Johnson or something without giving up much. Filler and picks for the most part for a team thats up against it and might be looking to get out of their current construction. If they can do that they will be set for quite some time and be able to continuously make noise in the playoffs for the foreseeable future

  4. Also, Ivey is the starting shooting guard, definitely not coming off the bench as the backup point guard at least not currently.

  5. Dunks and Threes EPM numbers are diferente, where do you get your numbers from?

Cade salary will be higher because he will make an all nba team. According to Bobby Marks Detroit will have 19ish million in cap space if they renounce their free agentes (which they likely won't), after Cade's new contract.

The maximum Detroit can give to Beasley is the non tax payer MLE, unless they renounce THJ and Schroder, then Detroit can get cap space and give him the 19ish million, but then THJ and Schroder could only be paid the minimum by Detroit.

Only Brooklyn can offer Beasley more than the MLE, and I doubt they'll offer him a contract so my guess is Beasley comes back to Detroit for the full MLE.

    I like Royce O'Neale a lot, I don't like Josh Green.

  6. I agree that they need continuity (hope I spelled it correctly), but I wish they sign Naz Reid. He comes from another physical team (Wolves), he can space and create for his own in the front court.
He is a great fit on offense, and adds size on defense (Duran is smaller), but I do worry about his fit (like his ability to move his feet, see what I did there😅)

  7. Watching the Pistons, i thought their biggest downfall was rim protection against the Knicks. I think they should move Duren because i can't see him being any good defensively right now (maybe in the future), and i know the Pistons aren't looking to truly contend, but it'll help having good rim protection and can at least be a consistent lob threat.

I imagined what if the Pistons had AD, perfect fit. But i doubt AD gets moved, so next, i thought, Gafford! Good rim protecter, lob threat, experienced vet. I assume he'll be paid around 20 million, which isn't bad. I think Gafford's motor to ferociously dunk and block shots matches the Pistons energy. And that could help the Mavericks make room to make moves themselves, so there's valid reasons to work on a deal together

  8. I appreciate that you didn't mess much with what was working. Sometimes not making moves is the best move
I agree about Holland. Not the highest IQ player in the world or best floor spacer for Cade. But hey, at least he fits the motor city culture with his good motor

  9. This isnt related but this is your most recent video so ill ask here.

Does the nets and jazz not landing a top 4 pick change the likelyhood of them trading these landing spot players like, claxton, markennan and cam johnson?

  10. I think the only thing I wouldn't do is resign Tim Hardaway. I'd rather let Ivey develop more in that 2 guard spot. I don't really like his MOTOR and I feel like he is a redundant piece to malik beasley and I'd rather target Trey Lyles.

  11. Jaden Ivey starts sir. Before the injury Malik Beasley was coming off the bench. $22M is an overpay. He's not behind Cade he plays next to Cade. This is how Monty Williams stunted his growth the year prior.

  12. MOTOR hasn't been my primary concern with Duren. His defensive improvement seems to have been with Ausar on the floor. But the bigger problem is the bad fit on offense between the two. Even if Duren is good enough to get paid, he doesn't fit with a wing who can't shoot.

  13. My only 2 problems with this are: 1) JI is not going to the bench for MB at shooting guard (No Way) JI has a much higher ceiling than MB and was just as effective from 3pt line as MB, plus JI is a better defender, 2) Draft pick in the 2nd round that showed available Maxine Reynaud from Stanford University, his a stretch 5 with a incredible feel for the game. He could play with either JD or Beef Stew.

  14. Chris Paul as back up PG, that PG experience is what we need. Make it happen. Also Nikola Vucevic as a Piston would be awesome.

  15. They're going to include fontecchio in a trade he's gotta go! I agree. Ron has a lot to learn about basketball, but you can't deny his heart and hustle. He's a dog. Mark, my words Ausar Thompson will be the best offender in the NBA one day. Cade Cunningham will be an MVP contender in the next 4 to 5 years And on top of it all like you said this team plays like they're in the '90s with so much grit and heart, you got to love them!

  16. I think trading up to 24 for Fleming would be brilliant and cost you future picks from a time when you aren't looking to draft rotational guys anyway. I also think it's silly to project Ivey not being the starting 2 next year, considering he started and played well this year. Needs to be more aware defensively but that's not an unreasonable thing to hope for, after seeing Cade and Duren improve a bit in that area as well.

  17. I haven’t been watching lately. Life is life-ing, my motor been low 😭. My ideal off-season is to bring everyone back and hopefully one impact player. Beasley, no more than 16 mil, THJ and Schroder vet mins or upgrades from them. Ty Jones, Levert, etc. Reed should've been gone for size. I want a 7fter or (he wants to come back) Drummond.

Then impact player at the 4 that can be flipped at deadline for our Motor city version Pascal. Green would be nice, but we need someone like him, but bigger. Bobby Portis or Reid.

You overpaid people so thanks, you gave me hope. Cade contract is now incentivized from the all NBA too.

  18. Tobias was a good signing. Tec isn't bad defensively. Let's bring back THJ. We were short on bigs in the playoffs, so let's roll with six guards. Do you watch the Pistons?

  19. Pistons don’t have Malik’s bird rights cause it was a one year deal so I’m pretty sure none of the cap numbers calculated here are quite right, might be partly due to the Cade all nba new cap number . Operating over the cap mle is the best we can do. Under the cap releasing all the cap holds I still don’t think the pistons can generate more than ~17 for a Malik extension.

  20. The fact that you think Ron Holland doesn’t have a lot of potential and you think we should keep Simone Fontecchio who is a shooter who can’t shoot at least consistently means you don’t need to be doing videos on the Pistons. Simone Fontecchio is definitely gone.

  21. The FO is committed to Ron Holland as he's Trajan's first draft pick and he's only 19 years old with significant upside. He also carved out a decent role on a playoff team, unlike other higher profile rookies. Eg, If he was on the Bulls he would have had free reign and his counting stats would have looked way better. They're not trading for another SF to put in front of him in the depth chart.

  22. Yeah I’m agree with Masha , Ron Holland fits what this team is trying to do. You look at the 2 teams in the finals; they are more defensive minded and I think the pistons want to do the same. What ever stretch 4 they get needs to be someone that can be able to shot a three but yet is defensive minded and maybe someone that can block shots. I’m not sold on it but if they went all in on Myles Turner that might not be a bad thing.

  23. I think targeting Santi Aldama would be good. Trade idea… Fontecchio, Sasser 2027 & 2028 srp for sign and trade for Aldama 4 yr 68 mil and Vince Williams. Adds needed shooting to Mem, plus needed draft assets. Det gets a solid big floor spacer. Thoughts?
