what’s going on everyone chris from pickdogs.com here with the free pick in the Cincinnati Reds versus Arizona Diamondbacks Major League Baseball matchup going down Saturday June 7th 2025 just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you subscribe to our channel and smash that thumbs up and if you’re looking for my best bets the games that I love head to pickdogs.com click the premium picks tab at the top of the page we got plenty of action lined up for the weekend ahead we got Major League Baseball on the board we got NBA and uh NHL playoff action as well as WNBA action too so make sure that you jump on board remember to use the promo code pick at checkout get 15% off your purchase we’re also on the hunt for 250,000 subscribers here on our YouTube channel i appreciate each and every one of you that’s helped us get to where we are today but if you haven’t already hit that subscribe button please do so it’ll help us reach that milestone and uh we’ve also got products for those who make big bets and for those with big bank rolls those looking for more of a VIP experience where you’re going to get things like late alert plays closer to game time we’re going to track line movement for you try to get you the the best possible number compared to the closing line so if that sounds like something that you’re interested in text the number on the screen for more information and let’s find out if it’s right for you but let’s get to this one between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Cincinnati Reds the Arizona Diamondbacks sending out Ryan Nelson for the start in this one while the Cincinnati Reds will counter with Nick Martinez and you know this is you know a battle between two starting pitchers that I haven’t really been fond of two pitchers I think should be in their respective bullpens as long relief options if at all uh but Nick Martinez you know was pitching fairly well i can’t take that away from him up until that last start against the Chicago Cubs the Cubs got to him for five runs on seven hits over four and two/3 innings of work and then Martinez just you know looked like he had regressed back to the Martinez of old where he just really really struggled through that outing and now he faces an Arizona Diamondbacks lineup that’s one of the better teams in baseball against right-handed pitching both overall this season and as of late they’ve been able to do some damage as well when you look at the Diamondbacks in the last two weeks against righties hitting 279 that’s tied for fourth best in baseball the team OPS numbers are third best the isolated power numbers are third best the BabIP is still you know top 10 so I think that the uh I think the Diamondbacks could definitely do some damage here against Martinez and what I feel is still a very questionable Cincinnati Red’s bullpen on the other side though you’ve got the Cincinnati Reds going against Arizona with that questionable bullpen as well that has a 3.62 62 erra over the last week but is also you know fully capable of blowing up and giving up a handful of runs we’ve seen it time and time again with this Diamondbacks line to where they’ve looked like the Diamondbacks of old and if you look at at Ryan Nelson you know he’s got some solid numbers in in the starting role he’s only given up three runs over 16 innings of work in his three starts this season but he’s also had issues in the bullpen at times he’s got a 3.43 erra on the season and I just like I said I just don’t trust Ryan Nelson because I’ve seen him pitch to where he gives up a ton of runs at times he gets blown up by certain lineups and the Cincinnati Reds you know they may not be consistent offensively but in the last two weeks against righties they have a habit that’s just outside the top 10 a 255 batting average their team OPS numbers are just out they’re just above league average i think you know they could definitely do some damage here against uh against Nelson and I I think that you know the Reds have a potent lineup that can put some runs up here especially against this Arizona bullpen so if I had to pick a side in this one I would lean towards Arizona because I do trust Nelson in the starter role more than I trust Martinez but I think ultimately the best play here is to go with the over and that’s going to be my free pick but just a reminder if you haven’t already make sure you subscribe to our channel and smash that thumbs up and if you’re looking for my best bets you can find those at Pick Dogs Premium while you’re pick dogs check out our betting tools they’re 100% free they’re the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you’re making your best bets for the day’s action thanks for watching
