Series loss to the White Sox is absolutely unacceptable
(i told you not to take the white sox unseriously)
Embarrassing. Disgraceful.
This is a middling team trying to scrap for the last WC spot this year. No more, no less.
Gotta be the worst hitting w risp team i can remember in royals history
You score over 20 against the cardinals and only 3 so far against the white Sox, baseball is a weird sport. Tmr is a new day.
What a waste of a series. Time to hope they avoid the sweep, I suppose.
Way to put up a fight, boys!
The inconsistency is driving me nuts. Especially from Salvy
Welp. There was an expected regression this year but boy it’s painful
Could have picked up games on Detroit, Minnesota and possibly Cleveland too… Instead we put up the most pathetically uninspiring performance for the second straight day. Cool.
I already miss last year when we would actually beat the white sox.
Sooooo…I know baseball happens and teams win and lose…. But something needs to change
i think winning tomorrow would be a good idea
Loftin should be playing every day right now. This Massey DH masochism has to stop. And how can we not give more run to Fermin right now. I know salvys had a few vintage games but the lack of professional At bats is too costly.
We were robbed of a Cags bases loaded nobody out… stuff of nightmares.
I think it’s time to accept that this team is not a playoff team.
We have three good (not great) offensive players in Vinnie, Garcia and Bobby.
The rest of the team is mediocre and a few of them (Salvy, Cags (not his fault), Massey) are not MLB-level players.
It is as simple as that.
Kyle Teel must have turned around the White Sox. At least that’s how it worked when the Royals found 3 good hitting games in St. Louis with Jac.
Imagine being a team that could have picked Teel and picked a high school catcher instead
Well, I think it goes without saying we’ve gotten humbled the last two weeks. We’re diving but I would like to be optimistic in thinking maybe we needed this. We’re going to find out the next month how this team responds to adversity.
All of this, and what’s more—Q is not the guy. The on-field definitely needs to be addressed, but I’m less and less inspired by the skipper each game.
Lorenzen on the mound tomorrow is scary too.
A sweep is very probable.
Hey, remember when we had men on 2nd & 3rd with nobody out and didn’t score? That was the game. We’ll be under .500 by the end of next week.
Baseball is stupid and I hate it.
We need to get this figured out pretty quickly. Massey needs to be optioned so he can get regular playing time and fix whatever he needs to fix. Loftin can take his AB’s. Salvy needs to either be moved down in the order if we insist on him being a fixture in the lineup, otherwise he likely needs to be moved to a bench role. Jonathan India has no business leading off, he needs to be moved down in the lineup. Idk man, I really want to see the lineup shaken up a bit after today.
Bro they’re about to have a losing record with one of the best pitching staffs in baseball. Un-fucking-believable!
Should have left Cameron in the other night

Whatever happens is the Royals fault
Maybe it’s dumb but I’m hopeful they use the off day to move some people around.

Might be time to stop pretending that this team’s any good.
We need to be sellers at the deadline. There’s no way this team magically learns how to hit the ball

The Kansas City “Avoids the Sweep’s”
I just spent the last three hours throwing up all over myself.
I wonder if a team that regularly changes their lineups between the first publication and game time has a communications issue between the manager and the players
Seriously, worst lose of the year. We have no offense except 4 or 5 players. We have 8 hits and 3/walks and can onlymscore 1 Run. Glad Jac got another hit. Salvy is going downhill very fast We need to play Salvy less and Fermin more. Massey should only play after going to Omaha and improving his hitting. Unless we improve then the White Sox could catch us. Tired of excuses for people running the team.
Bad Coaching….lots of talent…
So yeah, if we lose tomorrow and get swept by the god damned whitesox I think I may be done for the summer. Jist cant do it
That was disappointing. The Royals have lost 4 out the last 5 series; they need to figure it out. Go Royals.
I’m gonna get real upset

On the bright side, the rest of the AL Central lost today as well, but not to the White Sox, damn.
Elite starting pitching. Again. Most teams would kill to have even 3/5 of our starters. Jac appeared to have jump started the offense, initially. Everyone was excited, we were hitting well in STL. But the offensive engine died again.
These 2 games don’t change the team’s trajectory. No need to panic. But if we want to contend for the playoffs, we desperately need consistent offensive help. Not just Cags, either. That’s not a fair expectation. Forever Royal.
Funny how some users here talked about a sweep before the first game. Well…
If you can’t bat those many RISP in, you don’t deserve to win. That’s fair, and that’s baseball.
Yuck yuck and more yuck. Bobby not seeing it well and Salvy has pretty much lost it. Q needs to tell him to strike out looking 3 times before he ever swings at an outside pitch. Reset.
