Sweep would have been nice but I’ll gladly take two of three from the Dodgers
2 out of 3 ain’t bad
It’s ok.
Scott, Herrera, and Contreras need some time off, they have done zero the last few weeks (Scott 0.063)
If this doesn’t convince people that the Cardinals are a good team to watch, then they just in denial!
I know the sweep is tough, but with Cubs and Brewers losing today it would’ve been nice to gain some ground.
Ah well. Can’t win em all.
While it would have been cool if McGreevy was as dominant as he was in his last game, I don’t think this is a total loss. There have certainly been worse outings against the dodgers, and he lasted 6 innings, thus not ruining his era. I’d say this was valuable mlb experience.
I’ll HAPPILY take two of three from the Dodgers but I hate being Kershaw’s first win.
On to Toronto …. And hopefully Philly beats dat ass
Not bothered about today; we had two exceptional wins and took the series. McGreevy came off just fine in my opinion against three literal MVPs in a row plus a 2004-Cardinals style scary lineup 1-9. Kershaw is awesome, can’t win em all.
Also, it’s a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. This season in general has been a huge success in entertainment value for this fan.
No sweep 😢🤬.
Rats
Met Michael McGreevy’s parents while in line for food. Very nice people
if you like FIP, McGreevy’s outing was great. 1.40. not time to worry about him yet, imo.
I can’t believe the Cardinals out hit the Dodgers today. Too many walks and HBP. All in all a very good series for the Redbirds. They hang in there and battle with everybody. The NL has 10 teams that could get to the World Series and the Cardinals are one of them.

Found this funny considering the Dodgers troll more than any other organization…
I truly do not get this controversy of people complaining about the cardinals showing highlights against the team they are playing against in the pregame at busch.
2/3 against the dodgers is pretty impressive. Gotta win this series against the Blue Jays. I thought this weekend would be a disaster and was happily proven wrong.
That’s ‘Busch’ league to you, Kersh.
It’s funny that Clayton Kershaw, three-time Cy Young winner, World Series champion, slam-dunk first-ballot Hall of Famer, one of the best pitchers of his generation, can still get pissy over a pregame highlight clip.
